Episode 1: Am I worthless?

I felt the warmth of the sun upon me. My back pain was starting to kick in, I mean if I hadn't had to sleep on the floor every day my back would've been so much better.. I got upholding my back with my hands. I quickly went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, when I got out, I saw dad. He was so excited today and there was honestly no reason to be. "Dad.. Is everything okay?" I asked. "Of coarse it is, better than ever I tell ya." he said excitedly "okay.." I said confused. I sat down on the little bench we got and a small coffee table, today there was nothing to eat because dad had used our last 20 dollars on drinking. I was so tired of working because dad only drank, and I had to work at a small Café nearby. I earned 600 bucks per month and dad would take all of it leaving me with 20 bucks. Sometimes I starved myself to sleep just so I could have enough money for breakfast. I got up from the table and went out for a walk. I loved the crisp feeling of autumn air. It was perfect. I thought about mom, if she had been alive, dad would treat me like his daughter and not some maid. We would have had money and survived. I remember when I used to go to school, I was a straight A student, but dad couldn't afford the education in high school since mom died in middle school and things went downhill.. 2 hours later. I woke up to find myself sleeping on the bench. I saw a lady passing by, so I asked the time. It had been 2 HOURS. I had to get home and start cleaning before dad gave me another bruise. I was glad it was winter because I only ever got to wear full sleeves, half sleeves would reveal my cuts and bruises. I quickly walked back home and found dad in a very good mood. "Dad.. I'll start cleaning right away, forgive me for being late.." I said quietly. "Oh don't ya worry, go and get dressed in the best dress you got. Hurry up now." I looked at dad is shock. Was he actually serious. Dad had never been this polite to me on ages. I walked slowly to go change while I was still confused. I let my long dark brown hair down and wore the best dress I had. The last one mom gave me, it was a blue silk dress. It wasn't the luxurious but it would do. That was the only nice thing I really had. Ding-dong, huh, who could it have been, I wondered. By the time I got to the door dad had let in a beautiful lady with a slick bun and long dress and a handsome man with a suit on. "Dad? Who are these people?" I asked. "Oh sweetie these are your in laws!" Dad said happily "M-my what..." I muttered. "Perfect.. She is lovely and here is the check as promised." The lady said as she handed dad an envelope. "Heh, heh.. She is all yours now!" Dad said as he left the room. "What's going on..." Your dad sold you to us for about 500 million dollars. You will marry my son and have kids when you're ready. After all that is the deal your father made.." The lady spoke. "W-what are you talking about, this is a mistake leave me alone please." I said as my voice was shaky. "You want to do it the hard way eh? Guards bring her to the car" the well-dressed man said as the couple walked off. Suddenly two guards appeared and grabbed me by the hands. "OUCH THAT HURTS LET ME GO PSYCHO. DAD HELP ME, DAD THEIR TAKING ME." but dad didn't even show up as I screamed in pain. My cuts had started to bleed from their grabbing. They pushed me the car which looked like a beautiful Porsche. I sat there in silence, trying to control my tears. What type of dad would sell their daughter for money. "Please sign here. This is the marriage, it will only be on paper and there will be no actual ceremony for it." The man said. I look up, I couldn't escape, I was sold and there was nothing I could do about it.. I signed my name as I was trembling all over. The lady smirked and we finally arrived to a big mansion. There were many cars parked, and suddenly a butler approached us and opened the door for me. I got off in front of the tall building. "Make yourself at home, after all you have to get used to it" The couple said as they walked off. They could have at least showed me around or guided me, but instead they left me outside. I stood there for a few seconds then I slowly walked inside. It was very luxurious in the mansion and there was so much beautiful decor. I saw a lady come up to me. "Welcome home Iris, I'm Lena, if you need anything let me know please. Oh, and follow me to your room." I looked at her wide-eyed, and then I followed her to "my" room. She opened the door for me and then shut it on her way out. It was a huge room with a kind sized bed. An actual bed.. One that I almost never Remember sleeping on. Just then a handsome man appeared. His black hair got in his face as he walked up to me with a cold look. "Are you Iris." he asked. "Y-yes." I said stammering. He held me buy my waist and looked at me closely. My heart started racing, and I could feel his cold hands around my waist. He lifted my chin up and pulled me for a kiss. I tried to push him away,, but he was too strong. I know he had a good appearance and everything, but he had no right to kiss me. "Don't be too shocked. I'm your husband please a man won't ya?" He said. "Please let go of me. Y-our hurting me" I begged. He held me even tighter,, and I could feel his fingers wrapped around my waist pinching Mr. "AHH. Please" I said as I broke into tears. He quickly let go of me and said. "Jeez no needa cry.." I wiped of my tears and looked down. "Get some sleep, it's late now." He said. I looked up as he took my hand and guided me to the bed. "Now come on hop in." W-with you?" I asked. "Why is there something wrong with me" he said with a mean look. We both laid down as he fell asleep I was still awake. He pulled me close, and I felt my heart beat faster. There was something comforting in that and I fell asleep..
