Unexpected!

When I just entered my room tears came bursting out of my eyes, I couldn't control what ever I was feeling all I know is I hate it, I can't breath is like am suffocating from my own feelings, my chest pained as my heart did the same.

It might have been my longest evening I ever had, hardly did I know I was still in uniform on my bed I heard a knock "darling you haven't taken a shower till now, what's going wrong?" that's when I came back from my nightmare "nothing is wrong dad, I just got tired and laid on my bed.... I will be done in thirty minutes" he stayed silent for a while before he said "ok sweetie just be quicker , ok?", "ok dad".

I got from bed and stripped my clothes and went to the bathroom, I took of my glasses before I stared at my self in a mirror thinking what may be wrong with me that he couldn't even notice me, was it my hair which was slightly black or may I say chestnut, was it my brown eyes, my pale pink lips, all these thoughts runned through my head with a silent sigh I went in the showers.

After our silent time at the dining I could feel him staring at me and finally asked "how's dinner?" I chewed the food in my mouth then answered "hmm, it's very tasty dad" I looked at him and saw he was kinda disappointed with my answer "you obviously know you are the best cook with the best food I could ever ask for" I said, then his face lighten up with a smile.

5:30 am my alarm clock woke me up I got ready and went downstairs my dad was already gone with a note saying 'sorry I had to leave so early there was an emergency at the hospital' I went to the kitchen and saw a sandwich which I assumed was mine and ate it on my way to school. When I was half way there I thought to myself 'ok, ok, Davina try not to be so obvious you can handle this, it's not like it's the end of your life, just as usual stay low and everything will be alright' so deep in my thoughts I was already at school and the bell rang I runned fast to class and sat at my sit avoiding eye contact with everyone around me.

It was finally break time as usual all alone with my juice box and a book, "h..hey!" I was startled by the voice then got curious to know who would say hi to me!, I looked up and I couldn't believe who I saw out of all people why him "Ah, I..I don't know i..if you know me but my n..name is Max!" like of course I know him, his the bestfriend of the guy I liked actually sadly still like but the weird part was I could see he was nervous but why would he be nervous talking to me? "hi, I know who you are, but what can I help you with?" he smiled nervously and said "I don't need any help I just....I just wanted to ask you out.. like on a date" he scratched his head after he spoke. Is it a prank or something how could a guy like him ask me on a date, me!!.

I was really shocked not knowing what to say, don't get me wrong I had no intentions to say no but didn't know how to break it down to him so I said that I was so sorry I couldn't go out with him because I really don't have time for that, he was very disappointed by the answer I gave and he walked away without saying anything else, I couldn't say yes to the bestfriend of the guy I like. As he walked away I looked at him heading where Tyler sat with Stella and just like that Tyler looked at Max and me, I don't know what was that but he looked as if he had a relief on his face when he looked back at max and at the same time like felt sorry for the guy. *sigh* was all I did.

(Days, weeks, months, passed and Tyler and Stella seem to get closer and their love grew bigger, as for Max I never heard from him and never saw him with a girl.)
