Alve

Shime was walking down the hallway to go to her next class. She quickly turned the corner to the stairs and she felt something bounce into her . That something was a girl with books in hand which Shime remembered to be Alve, a shy and short girl but also one of the most popular girls in the school so of course she have heard the rumors. She began to fall backward but Shime reached out and pulled Alve towards her and held Alve by her waist. Shime took out her earphones out of her unpierced ears and asked, “Are you ok?” as she looked at Alve.

“Yeah, thanks.”  Alve replied looked back at the stairs with the scattered book that she would have fallen down if this girl wouldn't have stopped her.

“No need to thank me. It's my fault anyways .” Shime said removing her hand from by Alve's waist and walked down the stairs, picking up the books.

Alve joined her and Shime helped Alve carry the books to her class, leaving afterwards. Shime entered her quiet class that stared as she walked in and took a seat. The teacher arrived to the classroom right after and began the lesson. After class she was called to the student discipline committee meeting room and sat on the chair, Akon, the student council president offered to her.

“Is there something wrong Akon? You never call me into the student discipline committee meeting room unless it is urgent.” Shime said looking at Akon serious.

“ It's your birthday. Let's celebrate.”  Akon said happily as he pulled out a present from behind his back. It was wrapped in silver and red gift paper and it was about the size of a ring box but just a little bigger.

“ I thought it was important. I have stuff I still need to do.”  Shime said

“This is important though. You never celebrated your birthday since that....” Shru said with a sad tone and then changed the subject.

“Anyway after school at 2:45. You better be there.” he continued “Just in case you decide not to come, let me say this: you will only get the gift if you come.” He said and then left taking the gift .

Shime sigh and then left the room to go to her class.

After a few minutes it was lunchtime and she left to go to Akon's class. Then she heard talking before turning the corner and decided to eavesdrop.

It was three people, two people was her classmates and all of them was Akon's friends.

“ It's Shime birthday today and Akon said he will hold a birthday party after school but I'm only going there for the cake and to talk to Akon and probably even Mal. What about you?” one classmates said.

“ Wait, Mal is coming? Then of course I am going ” the next replied.

Shime wasn't surprised though. No one in the school truly like her except her friends,  her brother Mal and his friend Thea. “ Even though that is the case, the voice recording of them saying that, will be useful.” She said as she walked away.
