Over-night field trip

He pulled back. But Tiffany hugged his arm tighter. He threw his arm which caused Tiffany to fall. He reached his hand out and helped me up. Tiffany got up on her own.

“Ugh, why would such an ugly slut like you get help from him?”, Tiffany yelled.

She got close to me and slapped me. My face was bruised, and my hands started to bleed from falling earlier.

“Serves you right, bitch”. She said smirking. She raises her hand again, about to hit me but Ian caught it.

“Ian, darling, you’re hurting me”. She said trying to make her self sound like he’s married to her.

“Fuck off, bitch”, he said, throwing her to the ground.

“Let’s go”, he grabbed my hand and we entered the limo together.

“You alright?”. I nodded. “Fine”.

He touched my cheek, and I flinched. “You don’t seem alright”.

“It’s fine”. I said. My hands stopped bleeding.

“I’ll apply some medicine for you when we reach home”. I nodded. I texted all my managers telling them, I’m not working anymore, then turned off my phone.

It was around 6 when we returned home. He showed me to my room, it was right next to his.

I showered and changed into a new pair of clothes. I tried to dry my hair, but my hands started to hurt again. There was a knock. “Kelsie, dinner!”.

I went down the stairs and headed to the dining table. “Everything looks delicious!”, I told them.

They all smiled at me. I ate quickly, and went back up. “Thank you for the meal!”. I said to them.

Ian finished too. He followed me. He went into a closet and came out with a first aid kit. We went to my room. I sat on my bed, and he sat next to me. “Here”, he said, as he started to apply some ointment to my face and hands. I smiled. “Thanks, I’m gonna sleep now!”.

“I’ll be by the balcony, for a moment”. He told me. I nodded.

I turned off the lamp, and started to sleep.

He was standing by the balcony, looking at his phone, making sure his friends didn’t do or say anything.

He turned to look back at her. She was already asleep. She looked really happy and peaceful in her sleep. He walked towards the bed without making noises, and sat on it. He layed on the second pillow, and hugged her from the back without making her. He held onto her hands the whole night, they were surprisingly warm. He didn’t know, but he was actually blushing when he hugged her. He closed his eyes, and forgot he was still hugging her, he wish that this night would never end.

She turned around, and placed her head against his chest, they both slept peacefully, he still hugged her, in their sleep.

It was already morning, when Auntie Ice, enter my bedroom not making any noises, since she saw both of us. She called her husband to come and look, they both had huge smiles on their faces and quietly closed the door.

I tried to gasp for air, and woke up.

Huh? Who’s this? Ian?

“I-Ian..”, I tried to speak. “Ian”.

He slowly opened his eyes, and looked at her, still in his arms. “What?”.

“Can you let go? I can’t breathe”.

He let go. “Sorry”. I smiled. “It’s fine”.

“I’m just gonna go”, he said rubbing the back of his neck. He walked out, still blushing.

He went into his room, and covered his face, blushing.

He looked at his phone and quickly got ready for school, since he didn’t want to be late.

He rushed to get to the dining table to eat breakfast.

“So, how was your guy’s sleep?”, asked Auntie Ice, smiling. I took a sip of my juice.

I coughed after hearing the question. Ian didn’t say anything.

“I’m gonna go to school now, bye!”, I said to them. I rush to get my stuff.

“So son, how was it?”, his dad asked smiling. “I’m also gonna go”.

He went to his room and got the items he promised his friends, and left for school.

I was already ready for school. He got into the car. Not a single word was said the whole ride.

We arrived, and acted like we’re normal people.

There was Tiffany, I just walked passed her, and headed to the classroom.

Ian headed to his friends, and gave them the phones as promised.

“So, did anything happen, last night?”, Ethan asked.

“Nothing happened”. I said.

“Dude, you sure?”. Jacob asked.

“Nothing happened”, I told them.

“Tiffany, incoming, dude”. Jay said.

All three of them headed the other way. They’re really leaving me.

“So, Ian, about yesterday, you hurt me”, Tiffany said, trying to be cute.

I walk away from her, and headed to class. I got to my seat right in time before the bell rang.

“Ok class, we’re now accepting money for the overnight field-trip, which is tomorrow. Class 1 and Class 2, will be together. Getting to the destination yourself, is also optional, if you don’t want to be on the bus. Anyone got the money?”, the teacher asked.

Ian got up with 200 hundred dollar, and walked toward the teacher, handing it in. I smiled at him as he walk back.

“Well, the whole day is a free period! Have fun!”, the teacher said.

Lilia came and talk with me. “So, you’re going to the field trip tomorrow?”.

“Yea, I am”. I smiled at her. “It’s like 4-days long, you gonna take the bus?”. I didn’t know what to say. “I’m not, I get bus sick, I’m sorry, Lilia!”. “It’s alright, but I’m making you drink tomorrow”. I nodded. It was now lunch time, when I was organizing my desk, Jacob, Jay, and Ethan, came into the classroom. “Yo, hey Ian”. He responded, “Hey”.

“You ready for tomorrow?”. Jay asked. “Sure”.

“There’s gonna be many drinking games”. Jacob said. “Cool”.

“Hey, you!”. Ethan said pointing to me. “What?”.

“Will you be there when Ian gets drunk?”, he asked.

“Maybe, depends on if I drink”.

I left the classroom, and went to the cafeteria.

“Hey! Slut!”. I recognize the voice, but I ignored it. I went to get some watermelon but never got a chance to eat it. Tiffany came out of nowhere, she took the watermelon, and threw it at the lunch lady.

“Don’t forget, if you bully someone, your dad is fired”. I whispered.

I went back to the lunch lady and helped her clean up the mess. “Thank you so much, Miss!”, she said. I smiled. “Your welcome”.

The last bell rang, today was finally over. Auntie Ice came to pick me and Ian up.

“So, I know the trip is 4-days long, and I will allow you two to drink, but try not to get drunk”.

“Ok”. I told her. “Also, don’t do any weird things after you drink!”. I nodded.

It was a bit late when we got home. I went up to pack for a 4-day trip. I look at the whole packet of information about what to bring for the trip. It was really late when I finished. I head down to the kitchen and tried to find some milk. I warmed some milk and drank it. Warm milk always makes me fall asleep a bit faster. I went back up trying my best, to not wake anyone up.

I finally slept.

Morning came by quick. “Kelsie, wake up!”. I open my eyes, and made sure, I packed everything,I had to. I quickly slip on my pair of overalls and took my stuff. It was just a suitcase, I drag the case down the stairs and put it near the door. I went and ate breakfast. “Here, hangover medicine”, Auntie Ice said. I smiled. “Thank you”.

Ian came down the stairs, also with his suitcase. “Morning”, he said.

“Good morning”.

“I’m gonna be back, I’ll put my stuff in the trunk real quick!”. I told them.

“Son, you better take care of Kelsie, if you don’t, don’t even think about living here anymore”, his dad said. “Alright”.

He looked at his watch. “Time for you two to go, have fun!”.

I bring my suitcase out and put it into the trunk.

It was currently 9. I yawned, still thinking about sleeping, but I was too excited that I couldn’t even sleep. I read the last few pages of the packet. I got bored sitting in the car, doing nothing. I soon fell asleep, and layed my head against the window.

It was 12 when we arrived. The buses arrived soon after we did. I take out my suitcase, and walked to Lilia!

“Hey Kelsie!”.

“Hey!”.

“Are you ready to get drunk?”.

“Eh, not sure”.

“Students, please come here! I have an announcement to make”. The teacher exclaimed.

All the students walk toward the teacher.

“So, as you see, this is a overnight 4-day trip. There will be 8 students per lodge house, 4 females and 4 males, I will be on the main lodge in the middle, feel free to roam around and explore, you guys can basically do what ever you want, and drinking is allowed, since it’s been a tradition for decades now, have fun!”.

I went up to the teacher, he told me I shared a lodge with Lilia, Tiffany, Isabella, Ian, Ethan, Jay, and Jacob.

I was excited since I was with Lilia but I also had to share with Tiffany and Isabella.

We all reached the lodge house, it was huge and cozy.

“I call the biggest room”, said Tiffany. “I’ll get the second biggest”, said Isabella.

We all sighed, knowing that it will be hell since they’re here.

I went to one of the rooms, on the 1st floor. “I call this room!”.

I quickly unpacked some clothes, and made my bed. I thought about going to the waterfall, and just sitting by the side of it, since I can’t swim or dive.

“Lilia, c’mon!”. I exclaimed. “Let’s go to the waterfall!”.

Some of the boys overheard and decided to join us. I went to grab my towel and a cooler.

I fill it up with ice and add a couple of beverages and some beer, I also had some wine and champagne. “Let’s go, before those two come!”.

We all scurried to the waterfall. I sat by the side, while drinking some champagne while the others play in the water. “Pass me a beer”, Ian said. I take one from the cooler and threw one at him. He got up and sat next to me. “You gonna join us later for some games?”. He asked. “Not sure yet”.

“I’ll be back, I need something stronger”. I said. I got up and head back to the lodge. I take a couple of wine bottles and brought it back to the waterfall. The champagne bottle was already empty. “You guys want a drink?”, I asked the others. “Beer”, Ethan said. “Cola”, Lilia said. “Beer”, Jacob said. “Is there really no more champagne?”, Jay asked. “No more”. I throw him a whole bottle of wine.

“You’re seriously gonna drink even more, even after what happened last time”, Ian asked.

“Of course, why wouldn’t I?”.

“What if you throw up again?”, he asked.

“I was fine after that”.

“Kelsie, get in the water”. I shake my head no. “I can’t swim or dive”.

“Hmph, you’re no fun at all”, Lilia pouted.

“Well, good luck”, Ian said. “What do you mean?”.

He takes my hand and jumps into the water. The water was really cold.

“Hmph, idiot!”, I said as I yell at Ian. “I’m gonna get out, the water is freezing and it’s getting late!”.

I grab my towel, and wrapped it around myself, I take the cooler back to the lodge. I quickly went and took a really hot shower since I was afraid of catching a cold. I tried to find my blow dryer but couldn’t find it, I gave up looking for it. I got out of my room and headed to the kitchen. I made food only for myself because of what happened at the waterfall today.

“What are you making?”, Ian asked. “Burger with fries, for myself ONLY”.

“Make me food”, he said. I ignored him.

I got my fries out of the fryer and put it on a plate. I sat down and ate a fry.

“Please”, he said. “No, not after what happened today”. I was still mad.

“Who made food?”, everyone asked. I sighed. I take my food and headed to my room.

“She literally made food for herself”, said Ian. “What are we gonna eat?”, asked Ethan.

“Has anyone here made food before?”, asked Jay. Everyone was silent. “Guess no one here except Kelsie..”, Jay said.

I got up after I finished my dinner. I head out and washed my dish.

I went back to my room with some alcohol. I head back in, and Ian was sitting on my bed.

“Get out”. I said. “Make me food”. I shake my head, no.

I walk toward my bed and sat on it. “Learn how to make your own food”.

“You still gonna come play games with us, later?”. He asked. I shrugged. “I’m gonna go make cookies, don’t bother me, because I’m not sharing”, I told him. I turn my back to him and it was suddenly heavy. He put his head on my shoulder, and hugged me from behind. “Let go”.

“No, make me food”. He started me hugging tighter. “Make your own food”.

“Don’t know how to”. He said. “Then learn”, I told him. I sighed. “If you keep hugging me, how will I make food?”. He finally let go, my shoulder was sore.

I head to the kitchen and starting making cookie dough. Ian came up to me and hugged me from behind, again. “Will you just go and play with your video games like the others?”.

“No, I want food”.

“If you want food, let go”. I said. He let go.

I put the cookies into the oven, and went to the fridge after looking for a couple of ingredients.

I made 2 milkshakes, one strawberry and one vanilla. I put it in my room. I hurried to take the cookies out.

“What’s that smell?”, someone said. “Cookies!”. They all hurried to the kitchen and no one was there. “We’re really gonna starve”, said Lilia.

Inside my room, I was drinking my vanilla milkshake. Ian drank his strawberry one. “I made you food, so don’t bother me now”.

“You can do the dishes”, I told him. He look at confused. “You never done dishes, before?”.

“No”.

I open my door and head to the kitchen to do the dishes. I finally finished. I turn around to find 6 people staring at me. “What?”.

“Make me food”, said Tiffany. “No, me”, said Ethan. “I’m your friend!”, Lilia said. “Uh”, I said.

“I thought we were gonna play games, but whatever”. I head back to my room, but to find Ian fast asleep on my bed. “Wake up, idiot!”.

“No, lemme sleep”. I sighed. “I’ll never make you food ever again”. He suddenly open his eyes.

“I’ll hug you forever then”, he said while starting to hug me again. “This is my bed”, get your own”. He didn’t let me go. “I’ll tell them what happened 2 days ago”. He let me go.

“Go to your room”.

“Won’t they kill me because I got food and they didn’t?”.

“Not my problem”. I answered.

“I’ll open the door and they will come charging in”. He did have a point.

“Eh”. I went to pick up the alcohol near my bed. I opened a beer bottle and handed it to him.

He took it. I opened the wine bottle and drank some. A couple of minutes passed and I finished it. “You already finished?”. I nodded. “I’m gonna get more”. I went out, I check the clock, it was already midnight. “Make me food now”, Tiffany said, with her arms crossed. “Make your own”.

She grabs a bottle of wine, and got up, she poured it over me. “Now, I’m definitely not making you food”. I slammed the door.

“What happened?”, Ian asked. I don’t have a bathroom in here. I sat on a couch, still soaking in wine. He got up. “I’ll confront her”, he said. He opened my door.

“Oh hey Ian!”, she said. “Why’d you pour wine on her? You’ve gone overboard now”.

“Well, she started it, she didn’t make me food, that’s her fault”.

“Of course, she didn’t make you food, you bullied her and she isn’t your servant.”

“What’s all the noise?”, asked Ethan. Lilia came out her room rubbing her eyes. “What happened?”.

“Ask her”. He said staring at her right into her left eye. He went to his room and grabbed a couple of towels. He walked to her room. He didn’t say a word, and dried her hair, just like when they were little. Ethan looked through the door. “Yo, you still gonna come for games?”. I nodded. “Sure, I guess”, he said. “Get out, I’ll change”.

He got up and left. I didn’t have another pair of pajamas, so I just wore a hoodie and shorts.

I walked out of my room, and headed to the living room with a whole crate of wine. “Let’s do a challenge, to see who drinks the most alcohol, loser has to make everyone food”, said Tiffany smirking while staring at me. “What? You think I’m gonna lose?”, I said. “Even if I lose, I can make whoever, I want food”. “Then let’s play!”, she said. “You and me”.

I already smell like wine because of her. “Wait”, Ian said. “I’ll join, even if I lose, she’ll help me anyway”, pointing at me.

“Timer is 10 minutes, chop chop”.

I started with my first bottle of wine. They were only drinking beer.

“Ethan, who do you think is going to win?”, Lilia asked. “Kelsie”, her tolerance is really high, up to 14 bottles of wine”.

I start on my 3rd bottle. I drank it like it was nothing. I suddenly stop and ran to a bathroom.

I vomited everything out. I fell onto the floor, holding my head. “KELSIE!”, Ian yelled.

“Hurts”, I said holding my head. He carried me and headed to my room. He put me in my bed.

“How is she?”, Lilia asked. “Not sure, I’ll stay with her, since she’s like a sister to me”. “Ok”.

I head back to her room, she started crying. I got into the bed too, and hugged her. The crying stopped for a while. She lay onto my chest and I stroke her hair, I quickly turn off the lamp.

She got off my chest and I hug her from behind. I’ll protect you no matter what.

The next morning, I woke up earlier then her, the wine smell on her woke me up. Now I smell like wine, I hug her tighter now. She suddenly wakes up. “Hey, you alright?”.

“My head”. I said touching it. “What time is it?”.

“7”. He said. “I’ll make some food, now”, I told him. “Ok”.

I got up and walked to the kitchen, no one was there. I started to get some eggs and bread.

I made a some scrambled eggs and toast. I brought it to my room. “Here”, I said, handing him a plate. I went and got some juice. “I smell eggs in here”, Jay said, coming into my room. “Can I at least have some, please? I’ve been starving since yesterday, and they don’t know how to cook”.

“There’s food in here”, said Lilia as she also came in. I put my plate on my nightstand and lay on my bed. “Gimme food”, said Tiffany as she push Lilia out of her way. I got up and made my way to the bathroom, getting ready to shower. An hour has passed. They were all waiting for me outside. “What?”.

“Please, make us food!”. Jacob says. “Why do Ian get food and not us?”. I walk pass him and into my room. “You go shower now, you smell like alcohol”, I told him. He left after I told him to. I quickly put on my shoes,and left the lodge house. “Everyone, there will be many games in the mini bar, there tonight, those games include, Seven Minutes in Heaven, spin the bottle, and truth or dare”, the teacher said. I sighed and headed to the waterfall. I sat by the side, with both my feet dipped in the water. A couple of minutes passed. I walk back to the lodge house, barefooted. I put my shoes in my room, and went to the kitchen, I started making pasta and it was all to my self. I went and got some champagne. I started to eat my pasta, I left my door open for fresh air. Ian walked in, and took my fork. “I’m gonna eat some, too”, he said taking some of mine’s. “Have it”, giving him it. I drank some champagne, he looked at me.

“You’re seriously drinking champagne?”. I nodded. “What?”.

“It’s just that, you literally had a headache from alcohol last night, and you’re drinking again”.

“Don’t care”. I said. Lilia entered the room. “You alright, Kelsie?”, she asked. I nodded. I went to my suitcase and took out a couple of lollipops. I gave one to Lilia, and she left.

“I want one, too!”, Ian said. “You ate my lunch so no”. I put the lollipop into my mouth and went to do the dishes. “Kelsie, we’re gonna play spin the bottle in a few minutes, you can join if you want”, said Jay. I nodded. I went to my suitcase and took out some tequila and shot glasses.

I got to the living room again, and placed the tequila in the middle. “If you don’t wanna kiss someone, you take 3 shots of tequila”. Everyone nodded their heads. The bottle spinned to Tiffany and Ian, he went straight for the tequila.

Then Tiffany spinned the bottle to Jay, he then spinned it to Lilia. They both went straight for tequila. Many rounds had passed. “Out of tequila, game’s over”. Tiffany said. No one got kissed today. I didn’t really care. The whole day passed by quickly.

I skipped dinner and layed on my bed. “You’re not gonna make food?”, Ian asked. “Not feeling well”. He walks toward me and sat on my bed. I stare at the ceiling. I curled my legs together, my whole body was freezing. “Let’s drink the whole night away”, I suggested. “You sure?”. I nodded.

I sat on my bed as he got the drinks. I get a bottle a beer to start off even though I don’t drink beer. “Cheers”, I said. “Cheers”.

I finish the drink quickly and got into the wine. An hour had passed, I drank about 10 bottles of wine, Ian is laying on my bed again, he might be drunk. I finish the next bottle and put my blanket on him. I put the bottles in a straight line. I drank the next bottle until there wasn’t anymore in my room. I went out and got a couple more, and continued. The next two hours were very silent. He woke up to see me drinking more then I had before.

“Kelsie?”. He got up and closed the door, I carried her to bed, but I didn’t want her to be alone. She slept on one side while I slept on the other.

“Kelsie?”, Lilia asked as she open the door. She was surprised with the smell, she got on the ground and counted the wine bottles. She got up to see them both in a bed together, she hurried to ask Ethan to come. “Look”, she said pointing to them both. “No way”, he said, taking his phone out and taking a photo. She closed the door. “You think they’re both drunk?”, she asked him. “Can be possible”, he said. “There was 37 empty wine bottles, though”, she said.

“Ian, doesn’t drink wine, only Kelsie does”, he said. “Wait, then is she drunk?”, she asked.

“I think she is”, he answered. “Let’s just leave them!”.

I wake up to the sunlight that was in my face. I got up and looked next to me, she opened her eyes, and got up. “Get out, I have to change”. He got up and left. My head still hurts but I managed. I open the door. “You got any of the hangover medicine?”.

He went through his pockets and handed me some. I swallowed it and packed my suitcase.

I turn around and he stood there. “Ian?”. He got closer to me, and he hugged me. “Promise you’ll never leave me”, he said. “Promise me”.

“I promise”, I said smiling. I can’t promise you anything, this is my last week here, I shouldn’t tell you it is or you’ll be heartbroken.
