Chapter 4

One day at the school, I saw a poster that was posted in the billboard. And it says that they need a participants for the acting show, and whoever participates can recieve a payment. Without hesitation I sign up for the act as a participant, I didn't realize that Marcus's name had already benn wrote before mine.

Ff.

The day of the play had arrived, and I was preparing myself to go up to the stage. Our play was about Romeo and Juliet. My role was the freakin' main character, Juliet and for Marcus he was just a dumb tree.

At the middle of the show, I can see Marcus's face looking so annoyed, and jealous. But I don't know why.

As the show was finally over, Marcus took off his costume and he left without saying a word. I followed him and called him

" Hey idiot! why are you looked so annoyed lately? Is it bacause you didn't get the role as Romeo?" I uttered, he said something but I can't hear it because he was too far away. "Also we have to help them keep the costumes and props! Come back here you idiot!" I added but he just continued walking while waving his left hand at me.

"What with this jerk, is he even listening to me?" (sigh*/) uttered to myself quietly

Ff.

On my way to the coffee shop I saw Marcus walking on a distance. I ran towards him and said hi. " What are you doing?" he said "Oh! I'm sorry i didnt know youre blind too! Cant you see? Im walking obviously, duh" i replied

He sighed and said "You're right, I was a little bit mad cause I didn't get the role. But after the role as I was about to aapproached you someone called through my phone, I pick it up and answered. It was my father who called and he said I have to take over his company, but I don't want to so we argued for a minute and hung up without saying I would yake over his company as CEO. So I just walked away leaving you behind" he humbly said

I was shocked for a moment and before I can say a word he added "I'm not sure if I will continue or stop my part time at the coffee shop, ah I hate this"

"If you leave what about me?" I replied and realized that I've said it loudly. I zipped my mouth and did'nt say a word after that, but i can feel he was smiling looking at me and it gives me butterflies in my stomach.

Ff.

Several days later, the summer arrived and schools, including the coffee shop were close. I decided to go to a bar and sign up as a singer. But as I entered the bar, I saw Marcus and his with other boys at the stage behind a guitar.

As I watched him playing his guitar he looked so perfect and outstanding. A minute later, the owner of the bar call me and told me to hop on to the stage so that I can start singing. I agreed and As I walk by the stairs, all of them stared at me especially Marcus.

"...even the sun sets in the paradise" I sang loudly as the instruments giving me a clear thoughts.

As the song was over, the people applaused and the owner came forward and gave us a tip including Marcus and others. I was so happy and glad that they liked my voice.

After I sang, I decided to go home early, but Marcus keep insisting on walking me home, while we were walking he said "Were a perfect match ain't we? Why don't you be a singer and I'll be your partner. Also why don't we ride my car anyway?"

I silently laughed and so he did. We reached my home and as we enter my sibling and Blair was already there. I decided to let Marcus eat with us and we all have fun eating and laughing.

"This was the best day ever" I uttered silently.
