MY BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER

my usual morning routine begins at 5am in weekends and weekdays, I have INSOMNIA a sleeping disorder so I can't sleep well it has been almost 10years since I slept peacefully . My mom doesn't know about it and I don't live with them.

SATURDAY Morning

i woke at 4:30 today my insomnia is getting worse the highest I can sleep is 2 hrs or Max 3 hrs I will literally give my body and soul to the person who can cure my disorder . I go for my workout after I get up i spend 3hrs in my gym so I can tire my self out .

I looked at the clock it's 9:00 by the time I had finished my bathing and breakfast . GRRRRR GRRRRRR my phone rang I looked at it was my mom, I picked it up

" you have dinner plans today with Robert today, make time for it and wear something sexy " she said as I picked my phone

no need I will talk to him about it , if you have his number give or I will ask my secretary I said .

"can't you listen to your mother for once in your life I am telling this because I care about you " she said

CARE , ABOUT ME SUCH A JOKE WHERE WAS SHE WHEN I NEEDED HER THE MOST , WHERE WAS SHE WHEN FATHER WAS D...........

haaaaa haaaaa mom since when have you been so good jokes just stop I feel like I will die laughing I replied laughing loudly and cut the call.

" when are you going to stop being like this " I heard a familiar voice from behind. I turned behind to look it was DRAKE - he is the one and only friend in my life, I one I trust the most he knows everything we were friends from college. Now he is the top singer and idol. We both were of the same age, every Saturday we both watch kdrams together .

" Veronica, how long " he asked as he placed ice cream on my dinning table

"what " I asked

" how long will you push your mom away can't you at least try once again " he asked me

"it has been 10years since I lost the person who was most close to my heart and it has been 10years since anyone greeted me good morning and good night with love and care or atleast with a smile on their face after knowing all that happened in the past don't speak to me like that " I told him

" will you hit me if I hug you right now .........like a brother" he asked with puppy eyes

"No just not until you are just friend and a brother " I said with small smile

after hearing that Drake gave me a warm hug "sorry sis I will never talk to you again like .........but I am sad I greet you good morning and good night "he said pulling back form the hug

I chuckled and said of course you have by anyone I ment someone other than you like mom or the one who claims to be my own brother, I said pulling his cheeks

"right I got Roberts number I heard you asking asking your mom " he handed his phone

" you know him " I asked

"hmmmm I know everyone " he said with a wink

I giggled and called Robert from my phone :-

" hi Veronica " he said

" you have my number " me

" hmm aunty gave me " he said

"OK anyway I can't make it to the dinner I have plans " me

"oh how about lunch " he said

" NO " me

"I just wanted to talk about the marriage and company stuff " he said

" OK I can make time for a cup of coffee "me
