The very start (Ch 1)

Ch 1

The Great Planet, a beautiful planet blessed with clear water, pleasant weather, great genes, long lifespan, and is united planet needing only a single ruler. A world recognized by the many others around it. That is the great planet.

In a spaciously beautiful yet simple room, a beautiful and handsome tall young man with soft black hair and streaks of platinum blonde on some areas, black beady eyes that seemed to have worlds in them, a tall nose that perfectly fit in with the young man’s facial features, lips that seemed so soft like tofu and marshmallows while carrying beautiful color. Looks unlike any other, simply appealing at sight.

He was sitting down on a large white sofa in front of a crystal tv. Wearing a plain loose white shirt and neat black pants. His tv, obviously made of extravagant materials was open. At the moment it was open and someone was doing an orientation on the precautions of transporting a body to another world and dangers that would come with being in a different world.

In the middle of that, the sound of a triangle came. The beautiful and handsome young man nodded towards the door and it opened. An older looking man walked forward, wearing a suit. He nodded as a greeting and started, “Prince Yulian, his majesty is calling for you.”. “I’ll be there right after this.”, Yulian nodded ever so lightly then placed his focus back to the screen. After hearing the reply the messenger left and went back to the main palace.

Like other empires, messengers were used to show respect towards people of the royal families. When people did not use it, that probably meant they were either not showing respect, close friends, close family, or a secret message was sent.

The person on the screen discussed how when one’s body is transferred somewhere else there is a chance when being transferred, a person’s body can even split and get lost as different pieces. Things like mental damage and emotional damage that stays, and more. This special event only happens after the current “new generation” reaches a certain amount of people and all current existing participant reach the proper age.

The event is named “Experience”, something aiming to give you a new experience. Only young people of the high, the elites can participate in this. For those with power in name only, they join in hopes of gaining power or recognition, and escape from the life of failure and more. People join for a variety of reasons. As a vast and uncountable number of things can be obtained in “Experience”.

An obvious reason why people are reluctant is because of the dangers and the chances of it happening. When entering a new world, someone can die, end up injured, and more. Just as some things have guaranteed rewards, others have guaranteed punishments when things aren’t fulfilled. The event has been open for so long that countless families have even made it a “tradition” to enter.

After the orientation ended a golden key with “The Great Planet - Yulian” and an invitation fell in front of him at the mini table. He swiped his hand over and used his black space ring with a gold line in the middle to keep it in there. It explained in the orientation to enter the venue on or before Experience started.

A private jet arrived at the main palace. Sounds could be heard of people announcing that the prince has arrived. The giant doors opened and bright light entered onto Yulian’s view. He stepped forward and greeted. A handsome older man who looked similar to himself was sitting on a throne, “Yulian, you already know that participating is optional, right?”.

The emperor Line, threw out a face of genuine worry. Although chances were pretty low for someone to come back “damaged”, it was not as if it couldn’t happen. The emperor participated in Experience when he was younger. He knew many people and many of them came back better than ever but some came back in terrible, simply terrible conditions.

“I know, but you also know what it means to not attend.”, he replied with an “obviously” tone. Yulian wanted improvement, change, and experience. Not attending would make someone be seen as someone green, new, a frog in the well, and inexperienced. Not only, as a prince if he did not participate then that would usually imply that one was planning to leave the path to the throne.

The emperor raised his hand to ask someone to bring a crystal card. “A little gift that should be able to help you considering the way the event works.”. Yulian picked it up with a hand and got a proper look at it. At a glance he could tell it was money. The experience event made those who paid have better prepared lives for them.

Experience was originally a pay-to-enter thing, but over time changed to a free but for the higher circle thanks to the amount of money given. After all, experience has to operate on something and to do something as large scale as it is, money is needed. Although at this point experience is rich enough for it to support several generations without the higher circle limit.

After talking more and saying goodbyes with his dad and visiting his mom. Yulian went back to his palace. He came back to fetch the things he would bring. Money, clothes, tokens, games, a few spare transformable mini palaces and regular houses. He kept all of it in his space ring.

He planned on leaving tomorrow which is why he said his goodbyes and packed today. Night came and Yulian went to bed. He sat up on the bed and looked at the view of all the other shorter buildings and houses, then at the dark sky that had many shining stars. Yulian felt drowsy in a while and and his long eyelashes fluttered as he fell asleep.

The next day, Yulian ate at the dining area and headed for his jet right after. The pilot was already there and knew where to go so right after breakfast he left. In the jet he took a photo of the view then took a pillow out of his ring, hugged it with his eyelashes fluttering as he quickly fell asleep.

Hours later, Yulian’s eyelashes fluttered again as he looked at the clear glass. He was close to Planet Experience, a.k.a. Planet E. Many other modes of transportation were there. Fairy boats, spaceships, bubbles, clouds, flying cars, jets, airplanes, and so on. Looking further was a barrier that hovered above Planet E.

Like many others, the jet landed and the door opened. People got their invitations out and dropped down passing through the barrier. Yulian kept his pillow in his ring then did the same. Inside the barrier were one-person-sofas separated by a few meters each. It felt like there was no end to the amount of sofas there.

People were sitting on the wide white sofas over flat white marble floor. A gigantic red holographic timer of 00:00:28:43 that lessened every second was visible to all the people in the area. After looking around and thinking more, the timer hit 00:00:25:00. A loud announcement made seen whether eyes opened or closed and heard was announced.

“Welcoming all participants to Experience! Feel free to put money in the hole on your sofa’s right side for a better identity prepared for you! On the left side, you will find our little assistant, Annie, who you can ask bring out refreshments and snacks to yourself! We hope you stay patient as we all wait for “Experience” to start!”

This was repeated every few minutes. Yulian and many other participants brought out different forms of money and placed it into the left side. After that people started lounging and even chatting. Some tried going to other people’s range nearby the sofa and apparently there was a barrier around every single sofa as well.

Gossip, chatter, telepathy, and all sorts could be heard from other participants. “Omgomgomg I heard practically almost all the bigshot’s are coming!” Someone whispered to a someone else. Another joined in, “Apparently many of the sick and useless are coming because of the opportunities here…”. “I heard the the Empire of Light’s princes and princesses are going to decide the next ruler through Experience!”, someone shouted but quickly said sorry to others around.

Minutes little by little passed as Yulian listened to the chatter and the barrier was closed off completely for now. No one other than people already there could enter for now. The timer went to 00:00:00:00 as people started quieting down. An announcement bigger and louder than the other came, “Welcoming all the participants of this generation to Experience.”

Author’s note: So I made like 1 and a half chapters and gave up on this on May 8, 2022. I wanted it to be a BL. I wanted it to be like world travelling. I wanted it to have a ton of plot armor…I wanted it to have like some small amount of romance while at the same time making it seem like everything was leading up to the point the main character would meet with the other main character. At the same time while not trying to make it seem like romance was the main thing but the world travel was. But honestly…I’m not made to be a writer. I got stuck not knowing what to do midway in chapter 2. And it’s been months and I still have nothing. So I decided to just post it. Have a good day or night. \=^^\=!
