A Fallen Angel

Running through the woods, her heart pumping a mile a minute, her legs aching, her bangs blinding her eyes. She ran fast and turned sharp curves. Bruises covered her all over her body as she ran past pointy branches and scratchy leaves. Her halo gleaming faintly. She panted heavily as she looked past her white bangs. Small twigs got caught in her dirty pale white wings as she ran faster and faster. 

Behind her, the horrible dark creatures stumbled and stomped, trying to catch the little white-headed girl. I need an opening...I must get away from these demons. 

Then finally, she saw dim light straight ahead, she ran for it but right at the last moment, when she thought she would make it, she tripped on the root of a tree. "ACK!!"  she yelled and she fell down with a loud thump onto her stomach. She gave a loud grunt.

Get up... She told herself. Get up! You must get away before the- 

Just then, when the little girl had struggled back to her feet, one of the horrible monsters, bigger then her, had caught up to her and grabbed ahold of her foot.

The girl gasped and was yanked heavily. She crashed back down to the filthy dirt ground. "Ugh!! Let go of me!!" She wailed.

The demon gave an evil high pitched laugh. It then began dragging the little girl back into the dark woods where the other demons wait. It gave no care about how much pain she was in.

The girl scratched at the ground trying to get away from the demon's grasp. "Let me go!! I don't want to go back!! Let me go!!" she wailed.

Tears filled her eyes as she began remembering how a man in black would torcher and force out her magic power. She remembered how much pain she was in and all of the bruises that were left behind. She remembered the evil grin the man had on his face as he had no care for how she felt during those times. She remembered what the man would tell her when she questioned his actions.

"You're a very special thing...your power...your strength...I want it all." his voice was deep and scratchy. She winced. 

Thing? I'm not a thing...I-I'm...I'm a... 

Just then the girl's thoughts were interrupted by a deep and smooth female voice inside her head.

Lily...you can fight them...

 The white headed girl gasped and her eyes widen.

We can fight them...come on...remember just how much that man hurt you? The voice continues as the demon continues dragging Lily across the filthy ground. 

"W-who are you? And what do you mean by we...?" Lily thought as she continued struggling against the demon.

I'm your friend Lily...I wanna help you escape these mean creatures...you are stronger then them after all... The voice echoed in Lily's head. She grunts as her head started to ache.

"Stronger then them...? Me?" 

Her wings were being scraped agaist the ground, a few feathers were being grazed from them as she was dragged roughly. She gritted her teeth together to stop herself from making any sounds to show her pain.

The female voice inside Lily's head got studious. It sounded as if it were feeling the exact same thing Lily was feeling.

Just remember how much you hated it when you were forced to do the worst things you didn't liked...

Lily thought for a moment and the voice continued.

Remember how much you hated it when that man fed you with raw meat, expecting you to eat it because all of these monsters you see eat the same thing? 

Lily's goes quiet. All she could do was listen to the voice's every word.

Remeber how every now and then you would nearly escape that filthy dreaded place and would be tooken back by these creatures... 

Something had snapped inside Lily and rage began to fill within her.

Eagerness grew within the sound of the voice. Yes child...you're stonger then them...you were made to be stronger then them...

Lily balls her fists. And the voice began to laugh in a creepy yet calm manner.

Show them...show them all just how powerful you truly are!!

Lily's eyes slowly turn from deep sea blue, to a bright red color. Her halo poofed away like gold dust and her white wings disappeared like smoke in the wind. The magic energy inside her began rising dramatically. 

Just then, the demon dragging Lily noticed her silence and the sudden rush of magic energy coming from her body. Right when it could slightly turn its head, it's hand was sliced from her leg at the speed of light.

The demon shrieked and stumbled away from Lily. She layed there on her back. The other demons walk towards the shrieking demon to see what was going on. Lily's body slowly rises off her back with some sort of force lifting her up. Her body looked as if it were moving on it's own.

The trees and other plants around her and the demons started dying. The atmosphere goes dark and groomy. The demons stare at Lily with an uneasy feeling within them. Dark flakes began to drizzle around as if it were snowing darkness.

Two sharp pointy, black horns begin growing from the top of Lily's head. They curled towards the front of her head near her forehead. A black pointy tail slowly grew on her lower back near her behind. It flicked and swayed heavily. Black skinned wings grew on her back. Her skin went pale and half of her hair goes black, leaving the other half a dirty white color. Her ripped dirty gown glowed a dark purple colored slowly changing. All of the demons stop dead in their tracks and stare at the girl.

Her dress is now black with two yellow stripes in the middle of it. A white laced stripe divides the two yellow stripes. Her bare feet touched the cold dirt as she stood. Lily's eyes closed as she is no longer in control of herself.

The demon that dragged Lily growls in anger and shoots towards her. Before the demon could lay a claw on her, she pointed her finger at it and shot a powerful dark purple beam from her hand. The beam hits the demon like a ray of light and it disappeared without a trace.

The other demons see this and with no thoughts they began running away. A small grin appears on Lily's face and she moves at the speed of light, faster then the demons. Her body stayed straight and she appeared in front of them who all skidded on their heels trying to stop themselves.

Lily looked up at them all. "Where do you think you guys are going...?" she had a creepy grin plastered onto her face. Her voice was scratchy, and a bit deeper then usual. The demons shriek and turned to the opposite direction of Lily.

"You think you can get away from me...?" She stomped her foot and darkness spreaded from her and shooted towards the demons. Her darkness rises from the ground and transforms into chains. These chains grab ahold of each and every one of the demons. They yelp and Lily slightly chuckles as she snaps her fingers. The chains then drag each demon back towards her. Lily flaps her wings and lifts herself into the air. Once the demons were in the place Lily wanted them to be, she pointed her hand at them. They squirm around and tug at the chains, trying to break free.

A big dark purple magic circle appears infront of Lily, bigger then her body. The magic circle points down at the demons. Lily's voice was now at a deadly soft and calm tone. "Now...allow me to show you all the true meaning of pain..." Her eyes beam red and in the blink of an eye a massive amounts of magic energy shoots at the demons. The demons screech in pain as they slowly vaporize and fade away.

A huge explosion is created from the blast that could bee seen from miles away. After a few moments the beam disappears and leaves a large dent in the ground that stretched for yards. The blast had not only wiped out the demons, bit it also wiped out the dead trees and plants in the area. It looked as if Lily had created a desert.

 The magic circle infront of Lily disappears and her arm flops down at her side. Her wings begin flapping less and she starts to loose altitude. Her body glows faintly and her demon horns and tail disappear. Her wings go back to their normal feathery angelic shape and her halo reforms back on her head glowing faintly. Her vision gets fuzzy and her eyes change back to their normal deep sea color. She struggles to keep her pale blue eyes open.

The voice speaks calmly in her head. Rest child...you have a bright future ahead of you. 

The little angel's body tilts backwards and she falls from the air like stone...
