chapter 1 Powerless and Undefeated

Weak and yet so powerless. He has no mother or even his father. His mother tried to protect him from demons, but they were both killed by his own kin. demons...

He was found abandoned and raised by an elf. The female elf named Maria is the one who took care of him at the age of three. Maria had no family, but she was kind to me.

(two years have passed.)

We live in a city named Chaos somewhere in Oscuridad where demons and monsters live in slump. There is no other way to go; living in a slump is our only option to survive. There are many monsters who lost their families, and some almost reach insane levels due to hunger and death. Many were killing each other and stealing each other's food, and many are dying. The city smells very badly when we arrive because corpses are everywhere. 

Maria is a low ranked elf who doesn't have power but always protects me from danger. Maria's ageing has made her weak due to illness; even elves can't live long because disease can kill them. She's like a mother to me. I can't let her die just like that. She needs medicine to cure her. He picked some herbs in the forest in exchange for medicine.

After the great war has ended, Maria Ana I have found a home in the forest where no one will find us. It was peaceful just for the two of us, but Maria is still not in good condition. Plus, it's getting worse. She can't get up due to her weak body, so she stays on the bed. 

(away from the city)

It's been two years already since we moved out away from the city. Curing Maria was a big successful; at least she's gained some weight now. We promised that when I turns seven, Kaz can go hunting an animal alone in the forest. So he went out to hunt for small animals for dinner while Maria waited at home.

He caught two robbus before it got dark; he needs to head home fast. While walking, Kaz got distracted by the black light in the forest. That light is trying to show me something. He follows the light that suddenly shines on the book. He touches the book, and there were the black shadows all over him, spears through his heart.

Cough* cough*

The blood came through his mouth, and he fainted on the ground, where he bled like an ocean flooded everywhere. Then his body sucked back all the blood like it had been reversed.

Dup-dup sounds like a heart is beating, but there's no heart. An empty hole in his chest starts to regenerate. The wound heals by itself. He found himself unconscious and he thought he was dead for a moment. then, without thinking of anything he ran home quickly.

Maria! Maria! (He shouted from afar.)

Look at what I caught!

He stunned. His voice turns shaky all of a sudden. The house is on fire; he ran straight to the door and saw Maria lying down on the floor, bleeding; she's not moving. Her hands were cold.

"I don't understand what's happening and why she's not breathing."

"I am scared, Maria."

"Please don't leave me." 

" Please wake up."

On that day, Maria died. I kneeled down then in front of her grave, which I had just buried. He cried, and at the same time he was also laughing in tears.

"HAHAHA!  HAHAHA!!"

" WHY? WHY? WHY?"

"I'm so powerless!"

(during the great war between demons)

There's a kingdom that's ruled by a demon. where no humans are present, only monsters, demons, beasts, elves, etc. The place where the darkness conquered the sky and the land.

During the great war between the two powerful demons, many lives have been sacrificed; there were children who lost their parents; houses have been destroyed; and the kingdom is in red. Due to the previous king's death, "an empty thorn" has created a war in Oscuridad's kingdom.

Four years have passed, and the war has ended. The victorious one will take the throne to rule the kingdom, and he's named King Corajudo. His only objective is to getore power, to do so he needs the key to open the book of destruction. The key has been kept at the Hell Gate. The guardians of hell vow that the book will only be given to the next king, but there's one conditions under which he must defeat his opponent to become king. 

Once the war end, all the guardian surrounded him. The clouds has been separated by the lights and the book has fallen from the sky. Now the book belongs to him and the Hell Gates opened it's gate to gives the key.

(the Guardians spoke)

"SHALL KING BE A KING"

"SHALL POWER BELONGS TO A KING"

"WE SUBMIT TO THE ONE AND THE ONLY KING"

Corajudo had opened the prohibition book. It holds such numerous powers that have been sealed for centuries. The black shadows appeared and entered his mouth. He became uncontrollable and his body covered black shadow inside-out. Cora's blood is burning in his veins, yet he screams out loud while scratching his heart. He looks like his in pain. Suddenly, he became unconscious. Minutes after he fades out, he gets up, looking so exhausted. (Corajudo laughs)

"HAHAHA! HAHAHA!"

"YES! YES! YES!"

"I FEEL IT! I FEEL TO POWER IS BURNING ”

" I AM POWERFUL!"

No one could ever defeat me!

(before the war nearly ends)

There's a hired thief who goes into the palace of the king to find the secret treasures. There was a secret basement under the palace where the king kept the book. To protect the book, traps were built to secure it. Even though the traps looked very deadly, the thief stole them easily and without any harm. 

after completing his mission. The book was handed over to a nobleman, who hired him. He believes, it can hold such power and get it for himself. on the way to his hideout in the forest. He got attacked by a group of bandits. The book was stolen by them.

Suddenly, shadows appeared within the book, killing some of the bandits who touched it.

The book rejects demons with low magic. The nobleman survives that situation. He took that book and ran away into the thick forest. Some bandits were chasing him from behind. He panicked and felt it from the lower ground. One of his legs was broken, and he can't move. The book went missing after that fall. It must be somewhere near here. 

Arrgh! 

He slowly drag himself to the bushes. even though it's painful. He saw the lights glow nearby, so he went closer and then he saw a demon child covered in blood. There's was a hold in his chest. The kid dropped on the ground while holding a book.

Sigh!

"How come a demon child can open the book without its key?"

"Who! Is he?"

"I have royal blood!"

"Soon I will die, and they will find me here."

Later on, the bandits saw him. He quickly took out the poison and drank it. He knew it from the start that dealing with the prohibition book was a life risk because everyone wants it's power, and yet he prepared to die. The bandits search his body, but the book is not with him. Then they decide to search the forest. They found a house, which they thought was a nobleman's hideout. They killed the women and burned down the house but the book was no to be found.
