I wake up in a room i haven't been in before, it's decorated to the rim with girly pictures. "I'm sorry if the pictures are bothering you, Edwin." I turn around to the familiar voice speaking to me. I try to stand but the pain hits me. My head starts to pound and i suddenly remember the dream i had last night. Cressi was running toward me, well i thought he was but he ran pass me. You spaced out for a moment there." Lavinia yelled but then became calm. "Sorry i was just dumbfounded..." I say scratching my head and lying back down. "Hmm,Edwin?" "Yes, Lavinia?" I reply. "Can we continue our...kiss from last time?" She asks almost sounding volunteering. "...no." I say steadily. "I've realized that it was only the matter of the moment that i wanted to kiss you...sorry but I actually don't feel that way about you." She looked at a poster on her wall and began to say, "Okay,rest well." And she walked out. I shift comfortably on the bedding, i didn't exactly mean to lead her on that day. Everyone was having fun and i didn't want to ruin it. My little brother Junior comes bursting through the door crying. I sit up hastily. "Are you ok, little J?" I ask worried. "No! Papa left and you got injured and mama's back to drinking mead!!" He yells. I shuffle my fingers through his hair and whisper in his ear. "Shh\~It's all going to be over when you fall asleep. You'll have mom, papa, and an unscathed me." I lay his head on my chest and hug him. "You really mean it big brother." He hiccups. "Yes, of course."
