Entry #1: Restless Nights

*Why I cry when I think of my dreams? 

A puddle of tears and sorrow from beneath my feet and spread across the cold dark floor around and below me.

I cry aimlessly and cover my wet covered eyes with my hands. My fragile hands were freezing to the touch and I flinched when I placed them back on my knees. 

I was cold and broken, I was terrorized by the thoughts of my past and the awaiting future. The fear of being alone was real and I couldn't change anything about this reality.  

I awoke with a scream and my voice was muffled by the sobs of the cries. My mother winged my bedroom door wide open and frantically ran into my reach and embraced me in her warmth.

I cried in her arms and squeezed her tightly closer to my scared mind. A crash of thunder crashed and lightning strikes in the distance and frightens me even more.

My mother's voice soothed my frightful mumbles and sweetened my fear and the cries disappear from the ringing of my ears. 

I smiled in comfort in my mother's warm embrace and my mother smoothed her fingers in my dark hair.

I snuggled into her chest and I could find the happiness hidden inside me. I smiled and soon fell asleep with a soft tune being sung by my mother's gentle voice.

A few years later, I'm now old enough to realize my mistakes*....

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I turned from the light and covered my head with my bed covers. I closed my eyes slowly before interrupted by a high pitched scream and a bang from my door, following an annoyed voice. 

"Alexa, you need to stop oversleeping! We're going to be late!" said the voice as they yanked off the covers off me. I grumbled and turned to face my friend.

She stared at me for a second but quickly turned around to go the closet. I lifted upper self off the bed and sat up. I rubbed my eyes and turned to my digital clock on the desk next to me.

7:05 a.m...Well today's is gonna be another extremely boring day again...

As I slide off the bed, a blue shirt was thrown on me, along with a pair of jeans.

"Now alexa, you need to be more responsible because I'm always going to wake you up every single morning!" Exclaimed my friend as she walked out of my room.

"I'm leaving in the next ten minutes. Hurry or I'm leaving without you!" I grunted as I started to change into my clothing.

I glanced out the classroom window and sighed as it was just about time for class to start. I turned my head to face my friend. Yumi was sitting to next to me and was staring with a frustrated look.

"Why you mad?"

"What do you mean? I'm not mad"

"Well you look mad or either I'm just imagining"

She slightly punches me on the arm and turns away. I guess she's mad at me for this morning.

"Soo..." I said as I poked her cheek.

"So what?"

"How was your day?"

Yumi stared at me once again.

"It just started."

I laughed and pulled out my sketching pad from the pile of my school stuff, along with a pencil.

Our math teacher, Ms. Spring came in the classroom and told the class to settle down.

But most of the students were still talking.

She repeatedly told everyone to be quiet for least 4 times until she pulled out her whistle and blew it once. Everyone covers their ears and quieted down.

"Ok, students. Today we're going to do an activity but we first have to finish our notes from yesterday, so pull out your notebook and flip back to the we were on our notes" said Ms. Spring as she put her whistle away and clasped her hands together.

The others groaned at the announcement and pulled out their notebooks.
