Chapter 2: The Start

Detective Mark's POV

*walking* *eating donut* *stops walking* *knocks on the door* *opens the door* *enters* *closing the door* walking towards Officer John* *stops walking* So how's the kid there? "He's looking fine, nothing is wrong there." Good, that's all I want to hear because I'm here to interrogate him. "O-Ok, sir but-" Just open the door Officer. "*opens the door*" *enters the room* "*closes the door*" So your Valen- "*Valence stares menacingly unintentionally*" Uhm *sighs* *walks* *sits on a chair* So Valence, shall we begin our interrogation? "Sure but may I ask a question first? Where is Detective Cloe?" Oh, well you see, I gave her a duty that fits her rank so don't bother looking for her. You won't getting her after your sentence is done. "O-oh, well that hurt my feeling" "A lot" Let's begin "*activates the recorder*

Interrogation Dialogue

D. Mark: So your crimes are a bit exaggerated such as World Domination, Government Manipulation, Political Manipulation, Society Manipulation, etc...

Valence: Yeah, I know but would you let me tell the story on how I got her?

D. Mark: You may proceed but skip the beginning until the part where you went with your friends to your house.

Valence: Ok then, I know that woman told you everything about her interrogation about me.

Valence: I may start now.

After School POV

(Valence's POV on tell the story)

So it was May 13, 2020. A date from the past. A date that I will never forget. A date that started all of this. This date was the start. I was walking with my friends towards my house to help them for their homework. My parents won't allow me to do it... Except... I had no parents. I'm with myself at home, feeding myself, washing myself, teaching myself, etc. Then, it was raining a lot, luckily I had my umbrella there... Well, we all have umbrella so we used it for obvious reasons. We continued walking till we arrived at my house. We entered and locked the door so no one could enter. They went upstairs to prepare our homework while I was downstairs to cook food for us. I finished cooking then called my friends to come down and eat. Next, we finished eating and went upstairs to finish our homework. We did our homework and also helped them. Finally, they went downstairs to go to their home after they said goodbye to me but the next thing that happened truly traumatized one of my friends. This part of story is the "Friendship Arc". You'll know why I called it Friendship Arc. It happened on  5:00 pm. For now, this is what happened.

Start of Friendship Arc dialogue

Yuno: So you guys heading home now?

Willy: Obviously, yeah.

Xyren: Guys, would you mind helping me to go home? I forgot what place I should go to my home.

Yuno and Willy: Sure then.

Yuno: So follow me then, I know the shortcut towards our homes.

They went to the shortcut which is between the two tall buildings but when they went there, they found something that made them curious.

All: *walking*

Xyren: What is that?

Yuno: Nah, it's nothing. It's just ketchup.

Xyren: Are you sure? It's not viscous.

Willy: Maybe it's red juice.

Xyren: But why is it not transparent?

Yuno: I don't know but there a trail on it. Should we follow it?

Willy: I don't know man, I kinda get a feeling of uneasiness.

Xyren: Ok, let's go!

Willy: Wait! I don't think it's wise to follow it. We should go home.

Yuno: Ok but this is the only short way to go home. Let's follow the trail.

They followed the trail which leads them to a metal door on the side of the building and a window beside it. As they followed it, they heard many loud thuds and as they get near to the door. The thuds get louder and louder till they found something by peeking at the window.

Xyren: A man is chopping something in the kitchen but it's strange, why are there children getting scared?

Willy: *sighs* Let me explain. So what we are following is a blood trail.

Yuno: What!

Willy: But wait, it's not human blood, it's a chicken blood.

Xyren: How did you know that?

Willy: If you notice, the blood trail also has feathers in it and when you look at kitchen left further, you'll see a bucket of feathers in the sink with the chicken's neck. So in conclusion-

Unknown: Hello!

Xyren: Who said that?!

Unknown: Hello!?

Willy: Yuno, your bag.

Yuno: *opens his bag* My phone call is still on.

Valence: Wait! Let me continue the conclusion. The man was walking to his house with his chicken that he won from cockfighting.

Xyren: Wait, how did you know that he got that from winning in cockfighting?

Valence: That man is one of my friends' dad, he said that his dad likes to cockfighting. In fact, he is champion to cockfighting. To prove it, you should see a trophy there that says-

Yuno: "A cockfighting champion, 1st place" Yeah, I can see that.

Xyren: But then why are the children get scared?

Valence: Oh, yeah. His siblings are six and their favorite shows are at different day but same time which is every 9:00 pm. It's Wednesday so they should be watching a horror series because one of his siblings liked it and it's his favorite.

Xyren: Oh... I see. Sheesh, sorry guys. I maybe a little caught up to the trail. Hehe...

Yuno: It's ok, let's go home and Valence, thank you and goodnight.

Valence: No problem pal, goodnight guys. *phone call off*

They continued walking out of the shortcut, then turned right to go to their homes but before they went there, they saw something strange on the pile of trash.

Xyren: Wait! Guys, there is a strange-shaped object covered in black plastic. Should we see it?

Yuno: Oh please, let's just go home. It's getting late.

*Yuno's phone rings*

Yuno: *phone call on* Hello? Oh,  hello mama. What? Wait, what do you mean Ate is getting late (Writer's Note: Ate is a Filipino word for older sisters, that is what younger one call to their older sisters as a respect for them.), she should be at home on 2:00 pm, right? Ok, don't worry mama, she might just be busy on her work. You know that sometimes, she overtimes so don't worry. Wait, she doesn't? O-ok mama, I'll go home immediately. *phone call off*

Willy: What happened Yuno?

Yuno: Ate didn't went home, she should be getting there at 2 pm. Besides, she doesn't have any invitations from any party nor doesn't have an assignment from work. Heck, she doesn't even have a boyfriend to date with so where is she?

Willy: Wait, where is Xyren?

Xyren: Guys! Can you help you carry this thing? It's heavy.

*Yuno and Willy runs towards Xyren*

Willy: Wait! Xyren! Stop! Why is it shaped like a person?

Yuno: Let's carry it now!

Willy: Wait! Should we calling the police for this?

Yuno: Ok *phone call ringing* *phone call off* There's no signal! Let's carry it now!

They carried the thing towards the light post and they opened it and saw something that they never want to see anymore which still happens till today.

Yuno: NO!! No! No! NO!! Who did this!? WHO DID THIS!!?

Willy: Xyren! Try calling the police now!

Xyren: *gets the phone*

*the phone got hit by a small rock and stolen by the killer*

Killer: You kids should be going home now, right? Hehe... Well, I guess you'll be a hindrance to me. Now die!

Yuno: You'll pay for this!

As Yuno runs towards The Killer, The Killer tries to slice Yuno but luckily, Yuno dodged it and kicks the hand holding a knife and send the knife far from The Killer. As The Killer tries to get the knife, Xyren stopped The Killer from getting it by using a long chain, then Yuno down kicks The Killer's leg in order to fall and kicks it back the face as The Killer falls. Oh and did I mention that my friends are great fighter. Yuno's specialties are Arnis and Taekwondo. Xyren's specialties are Arnis and Muay Thai. Willy's specialties are Taekwondo and Karate, also the brain of the team or second brain of the team. My specialty is MMA (Mix Martial Arts) and Arnis as well (Writer's Note: Arnis is a combat made in the Philippines and it's the National Martial Arts of the Philippines.). As Yuno and Xyren fights The Killer, Willy called the Police and The Killer tries to escape from them and it did. Yuno and Xyren were chasing The Killer but Willy tells them to stop and the police is coming. The Killer runs while saying:

The Killer: Those kids are fast fighter. I can't even beat. I should have used the gun but guns are for cowards. This is going to be fun!

As The Killer runs, The Killer gets caught by the police and the police are chasing The Killer. The Killer continues to run but The Killer got caught. The police have arrive that location where Yuno's older sister's dead body was found. As Yuno saw her dead body, he felt sadness. A sadness too much that he can't cry but rather just shocked and can't move as if he was frozen with his heart and mind. Well, that is what every people would feel if they saw the dead body of their loved ones in their own eyes especially before it was in the coffin. Yuno's family is in grief and crying on their beloved daughter's coffin while Yuno just watched the news as he saw the suspect arrested on 2:30 am, May 14, 2020 but he watched it on May 15, 2020. However, as he watching the news, he saw and heard on the news that...

Yuno: The Killer escaped!? No! No! No! Why!?

He told the news to his friends but not to his family as it would make their grief so much worse. They discussed a plan in order to catch The Killer knowing The Killer will get revenge for kicking The Killer out and will go to Yuno's house to kill him by herself.

Chapter 3: Encounter with the Cause

Dialogue on Yuno's house

Yuno: Thank you for coming guys. It's really hard to deal with it.

Valence: We're sorry for the loss of your Ate. I know that feeling when I lost my parents. My condolences.

Willy and Xyren: Me too.

Yuno: Thanks guys, I feel a bit lighter now but not my parents and siblings. They are feeling heavier now after what happened to Ate. Come inside, you know what you've come here right?

All: *nods*

Yuno: Good, come now.

All: My condolences po Mr.  and Mrs. Anderson.

Yuno's Parents: Thank you dear.

Yuno's mother: Why did she die? She's one of a kind. She's kind, gentle, and good. Maybe the kind ones die first before the bad ones.

Yuno's father: Go inside kids, it's dangerous outside.

All: Thank you.

They went inside Yuno's house and upstairs to plan something in order to catch The Killer because they know The Killer will go there.

Xyren: So what's the plan? Trap him? Fight him? Ambush him with the police?

Yuno: All of them are good but there is one thing.

Yuno's mother: Kids, stay here and don't get out.

Yuno: Why mama?

Yuno's mother: The Killer had escaped and is on the loose. Stay here and don't get out.

Willy: Wait, how did you know po?

Yuno's mother: The police had arrived lately and told us everything.

Valence: Oh, that's why. Ok po ma'am, we won't go out.

Yuno's mother went out and the kids were confused because there is a flaw to there plan but they had it coming.

It was 10:50 pm at night on May 15, 2020. They were all asleep except for Yuno and his friends which slept earlier in order to not get sleepy in this time and are waiting for The Killer and Yuno's parents are not in the house. They waited till 11:23 pm. The time where The Killer had arrived.

They start to move in order to do the plan knowing they would die encountering the cause of Yuno's older sister's death. Xyren was the first one to make a move by using sounds to lure The Killer. The Killer did got the bait but she knew that it is a trap because it's obvious to the reflection of the glass on the table. Xyren's plan didn't worked. It's Willy's turn to play his plan. To scare The Killer in order to make it run to the garden which is full of dogs. Unfortunately, The Killer isn't easy to get scared so Willy's plan didn't worked either. It was Yuno's turn to do his plan but before he could even execute his plan, he saw that The Killer is gone but not entirely as he turns around, The Killer was there and kicked Yuno out of his hiding spot. Xyren and Willy were unconscious because The Killer knocked them out.

The Killer: You kiddo will pay for this!

The Killer fastly tries to stab Yuno but he quickly grabbed it and pushed it to his left and kicked The Killer.

The Killer: I would say I'm impressed but your just a kid, and a kid loses to an adult.

Yuno: Yes, I know that but remember that it's not always gonna happen.

The Killer: But now it will!

The Killer kicked him to his right and he dodged it but was kicked to the left because The Killer did the double kick. The Killer sliced Yuno's right arm so that he won't be punching nor grabbing The Killer's attacking knowing The Killer should have aimed for the leg but it's too fast for him. Then Yuno quickly downkicks The Killer then kicks the head to push it away from him because of the pain he will deal to The Killer. They both will die because The Killer have a severe brain damage and Yuno would lose his blood if his wound won't heal but they are also ready to fight in order to defeat each other. As they are ready to fight, Valence is grabbing Xyren and Willy to heal them while watching them standing as they get ready to fight but then something got into his mind. He said:

Valence: Wait! Stop!

They stopped fighting as they get curious for Valence stopping them to fight.

Yuno: What is it Valence?

Valence: You, The Killer, will you give me the reason for killing Yuno's older sister?

The Killer stared at Yuno with hatred but when The Killer stared at Valence, The Killer stared at Valence with a feeling that Valence felt and the feeling is a feeling of wanting to be trusted and listened for once but also a feeling of familiarity as if they had met each other.

Valence nods at The Killer as a sign to let her tell the story.

The Killer's POV

My name is Evalyn. Evalyn Rodriguez. I'm 21 years old and lived in a house where me and my ill mother only lived. I was working as a call center agent. I had a boyfriend that day. I'm saving my money in order to cure my mother until one day, it was May 12, 2020. I met a woman named Yella Anderson who was 25 years old, and lived a bit rich life. I talked with her and we became friends. We helped each other, healed each other, guide each other, etc... I didn't have any jealousy towards her. I didn't mind her being rich because she is kind and caring but those were just fake. She only used me in order to have my money to earn. She deceived me, gaslighted me, even make me look like I was the bad one and she is the good one. I tried to break my friendship with her but it only got worse. My boyfriend was loyal and gentle with me but I feel like he didn't need me. He is older than me, well, all my exes are older than me but not once I had someone younger than me. Yet she stole him from me but I didn't mind and I had another boyfriend and he was stolen too. As if she wants to take everything from me. I really want to know the reason why she did this but she won't answer. I almost lose hope till I think about my mom and continued to work in order to save my money but my salaries are getting lower on that day. I don't understand, why all the workers getting a fair salary while I'm the only one who get lower salary. I tried to talk to the manager till I saw and heard anything. I listened and this is what I heard:

Yella: Hey, manager. Would you mind lowering her salaries?

Manager: But why?

Yella: Well, I guess no sex for you this week.

Manager: Wait! How about I would fired her and you'll go with me into my house? Hm?

Yella: Sound like deal! I really hate that woman, it is disgusting in my eyes to see her smile as if she is not meant to smile hehe... She's also ugly and you know that, she is evil, and bad. She even throw a hot coffee on my body! It left a scar.

Manager: But where is the scar?

Yella: Hehe...

Manager: Oh... Hehe...

I was shocked and mad. So I went in and said:

Evalyn: What the heck is this Yella!! I heard everything from you!! Boss, those things were not tru-

Manager: Sorry Evalyn, but you're fired for hurting this kind lady.

Evalyn: B-but... I will report you two for this!

Manager: Oh really? Well, guess what, we took the payment for all the damage you have caused to Yella.

Evalyn: W-wha-what... No... No... No! NO! *runs towards Yella*

Manager: Guards! Take this woman out!

*kicks Evalyn out*

I was... So... So... How do I describe it? Well, it doesn't matter but what mattered is I was far away from Yella. I arrived at home and calling mom that I'm home but I felt an uneasiness but with a sweet faint. I realized that was my mother. I was running towards the room but it was too late... She died.

I was... Empty... And sad... I slowly walk towards my mom but I stopped as I looked down because I stepped on something... Something that truly gave me hatred... I saw a bottle of poison... I knew what poison that is but my mom doesn't so I know it was not her. It was Yella. How do I know? I saw the window closed... It should be open in order for mom to breathe fresh air since we have a lot of trees. I went outside to calm myself down till I saw one man with is a Teenager. He changed my mind but not my heart since hatred got the best of me.

Valence: Hi!
