Who is she?

“Hey are you okay?”

Ivy ask as she pears around the corner following the trail of blood

“Go away”

A raspy voice spits out

Ivy reluctantly listens to her instincts to walk away and walks towards the voice, she sees a girl sitting against a wall covered in blood gasping for air.

“Um are you okay?”

Ivy ask again as she slowly approaches the mystery figure

“Do you not listen”

The mystery’s voice yells before coughing up more blood

“I said go away!”

She say while throwing their hand in the air

“But your not okay”

Ivy quietly says as she gets closer, close enough to realize this mysterious figure is a girl

She quickly ran to her side turning her phone light on only to be meet with a bloody mess

“What’s your name? I’m Ivy”

She says as she takes her jacket off covering the girl’s stomach where the blood seems to be coming from

“I’m- Cora-“

The girl says as she try’s not to pass out

Ivy pulls Cora to her feet and continues to whisper to her to stay awake

“Don’t take me to a hospital”

Cora says as she spits up more blood

“Well your in luck Cora I’m a nurse in training”

Ivy says cracking a little smile at her as she helps her walk back to her place

“Wh-where am I?”

Cora says as she winces at the pain while sitting up

“Oh, we’ll you said to not take you to a hospital so I did my best work on you at my place”

Ivy says as she looks back at her with a smile

“Oh- wait… where are my clothes?”

Cora says looking down at herself covered in bandages

‘These are kinda itchy’

She thinks to herself as she looks around the room noticing all the bloody towels and tools in a basket across the room

Ivy notices her glances around the room

“Oh I didn’t realize you’d wake up so soon so I didn’t have time to clean that up, also sorry about your clothes I needed to access the damage”

“Well thanks but I need to go”

Cora says as she stands up pushing through the pain

Ivy quickly jumps to her feet to help her stand and makes it just in time to catch her from falling

“You need to rest”

Ivy says quickly as she walks Cora back to the bed

“I don’t know what happened but if you keep moving a bunch you’ll tear your stitches open”

Ivy says as she pulls the bandages loose to check and make sure she’s okay.

Cora rubs the back of her neck in embarrassment while looking away not sure of her feelings towards this girl.

“Your cheeks are red! Do you have a fever”

Ivy pulls Cora’s hair from her face and puts her forehead to hers

“Mm you don’t feel to warm”

Cora quickly pulls herself away listening to her heart beat speed up

‘What am I feeling? I don’t even know her?’

a bunch of thoughts pass through her mind as she try’s to calm down

“Are you okay?”

Ivy says as she looks at Cora in confusion

“I J-just need some space is all”

Cora stutters out

“Ohh I’m sorry I’ll give you some space”

Ivy says in a monotone voice nodding at Cora as she gets up

I don’t want her to leave tho just stay next to me

Is all Cora could think in the moment and without a second thought her body did as it wanted and pulled Ivy’s shirt to get her to stay

“Uh y-you can stay here”

“Okay!”

Ivy says giving Cora a big smile causing her heart to jump

‘Who is this girl and why do I feel like this? Maybe I should go see a doctor’

Cora thinks to herself trying to understand her feelings towards this girl

“Oh are you still in highschool? I noticed you have a student Id in your pocket”

“Oh heh yeah I am, I’m Cora lee 18 years old- I go to South high”

“Really? I go there too! How come I’ve never seen you?”

Ivy ask out if curiosity

“Oh well I’m not a fan of school so I don’t usually go”

Cora says embarrassed

“Oh well I’m Ivy League 18 years old”

‘Hm so she’s my age’

Cora thinks to herself

“So what happened to you?”

Ivy ask in a sweet tone making Cora’s heart jump again

“Oh that?”

she says pointing at the cuts

”it’s nothing don’t worry about it”

“Oh alright but be careful I heard there’s a Gang running around I think there called the Red Flag”

‘Shit’

‘I can’t stay here any longer I don’t need her to get mixed into this’

Cora thinks to herself trying to think of any excuse to leave

“Well whatever might have happened you can stay here and rest you’ll be safe”

Ivy says with a warm smile on her face
