Hello everyone! 😅 First thing first! I'm new to this kind of thing so I'm so sorry for the spelling and grammatical errors. I love reading manga and novels so I decided why not try to write one. Im not really good at making one but I really really hope you will like it hehehe! This story is just short and precise. Hopefully you all like it. I bid goodbye to my mom as i tap the end button on my phone. Now new chapter of my life is here to come! the thought in my mind as i watched two birds playing around from the window of this apartment. I need to fix my stuff, so that I can take some rest. Goshhh! that farewell party was so awful knowing that i really hate to socialize with other people.

I'm Amanda Marcel, a fresh graduate of business marketing, 23 years old. Im a simple woman, not that tall, had fair skin, black wavy hair and hazel colored eyes. My mom is the only family i had left. I grew up in this world without meeting my dad. I once ask my mom about him but she refused to tell me, after that i never ask her about him anymore. I just finished fixing my stuff and now im laying on my bed. God! I miss this comfy bed of mine. Without a minutes later i fell asleep.

I was walking in a forest, no one is around? mama im scared where are you?I'm crying, afraid of the darkness but i continue to walk. I saw a pathway its so dark! My knees are trembling. I remembered what my mama always says to me!

"don't let your fears eat you alive instead stand up and be brave".

I continued to walk building my self up even my tears won't stop. Someone is following me, mama help! a voice in my head is telling me run Amanda run don't stop. Without thinking twice i run as fast as i could. Not minding the pain i feel from the small branches of trees. I stumble a lot of times but it never made me stop, i stand up and continue to run. ha! ha! ha! chasing my breath. I heard a sound of a flowing water. I run as fast as i could! i stumble and fell in a flowing water of a river, urghhhh helppppp!

I woke up full of sweats running down my face, that dream again! I look at the digital clock beside its 1:00 am. I lay down again and think of my dream.

Why do I always dream of that? why i am running that time? who i am escaping with? and who i really am?

I knew from the start that everything seems wrong but i remained quite. I was still a kid back then my mom won't allow me to study in a school instead she had me home schooled. Im not allowed to go out and wonder outside even playing with some kids is forbidden. Whenever she had something to do in a far place she always make sure to live the house lock living me ready to eat food in fridge. Im still a kid but i already learned how to live on my own.

One day my mom need to do something where she need to be a far for almost three days. She just remind me to not go out I see her live without bidding goodbye. As she closes the door i went back and continue to do my everyday routine and that is reading. My mother provide me a mini library where i spent most of my time with. Im reading a books in our veranda that time when i saw a black limousine outside the house of our neighborhood. A kid went out of the car maybe his same age as me. I never knew there is someone staying in that house. As he walk to his house he turn his head in me and gave me a a smirk. I look him back blankly. I don't know what to respond. I saw him whisper something in the guy wearing a black suit beside him. The guy just nod and he run towards me. Just thirty minutes master the guy shouted. Okay! he responded.

Hi Amanda! he shouted while his standing on the fence that is separating our house, it's just three meters away from the veranda Im sitting in. I don't know why he knew me but i never mind it.

Wanna play with me? he said!

Im not allowed to go out i respond.

I will go there instead!

The gate is lock!

he climb on that fence and jump in our backyard, he run unto me with a wide smile on his face. We played, run around and even read books together. He teach me how to smile and laugh. As days pass we continue to meet on our backyard. I told him everything about me and my mom being strict on me. My mom went back home, i told him that his not allowed to play with me while my mom is at home, but his hard headed he even sneak around. Ismile as i remember those time i spent with him together, but my expressions went blank when i tried to remember who is he again? Why does I can't remember more about him. Did we grew up together? What happened to him? My head start to hurt as i tried to force my self remebering him. Never mind, I closed my eyes trying to sleep again.

I woke up by the light of the sun in my face. I get up prepared my breakfast and sat on the couch. I grab my laptop and browse the internet for job hiring. There is a lot of companies who is open for job hiring but it is not related on my course. I wanted to experience having a job and earning for my self. Not that I always rely on my mom's pocket. My phone rung and a reminders appear, I almost forgot i need to buy groceries today, i close my laptop and get changed. I wear my favorite black hood. Mom wants me to wear hood since the first day of my college life. She bring me to university and even pick me up after that. My classmate thinks of me as a weird person. Who will not be! im already an adult but i still had mom besides me. Despite of that they never tried to bully me, maybe because my mother paid the school for my full security. No one even intend to talk to me, and that's fine cause I don't want to talk to them too. I wanna live my life as peaceful as i can. Now im already twenty three still my actions are limited. Mom doesn't even want me to live in this apartment but I force her to. Im already near on the super market when my head hurt. A different images flash on my head. Urghhhhh! I hold my head as it hurt so bad that made me kneeled on the ground. A moment later a hand grab my shoulder , i saw a man sprayed something in my face. The pain is slowly fading away as I feel dizzy and everything went black.
