The First Day

Recently my father got a new job in a place far away from where we lived, so we had to move and of course, change schools.

I'm a freshman this year, I always had a hard time making friends, changing schools means that I'll have to making new friends, so I have to get ready, tomorrow is my first day!

I wore a white t-shirt, black pants, and a black jacket, it was pretty awesome that this school didn't have a uniform, I can wear whatever I want! Walking into the school nervously I realized something, I had to introduce myself to the entire class… I always had the fear of public speaking, but before coming up with what I had to say, I was in front of my classroom's door…

I entered the classroom and realized I was probably the last to arrive, even tho I was early. I went to the end of the classroom and I saw an empty seat, I asked the person beside it if someone sits there, and he replied with "no"

So I sat down and after a few minutes the teacher entered the class, "Alright everybody, open up your books, today's lesson is pretty long" said the teacher.

Then he looked at me and said "Oh, how could I forget, today we are joined by a new student, would you get up and introduce yourself?"

I was nervous, I stood up and everybody was looking at me "My name is Kazuko, I am 14 years old, I like drawing" I said....

The entire class was silent for a moment, and then I heard somebody say "Okay…?"

That would be the dumbest thing I said in my entire life!

The class started to giggle, "14? Really you have got to be kidding!"

I forgot I was introducing my self to my class, we are all the same age! Then the teacher made everybody quite, I sat down and he started the lesson, I felt like some people were still laughing at me, but I ignored it.

After a few lessons the bell rang and it was lunchtime, I didn't have any friends yet and I felt embarrassed after the class laughed at me, so I ate my lunch alone, I then got my phone out and started playing the MMORPG I have on my phone, out of nowhere the guy beside me said "Woah! You play that too? What's your level"

I looked beside me and he was looking at me playing the game, I said "Oh, um, I'm level 43"

"That's so cool! I didn't know somebody else played it in this school" he said, he got his phone out and opened the game, I was so surprised to see what I saw, he was level 80, he had the best characters, the best weapons and armor!

"How long did you play this game?!" I said, "Man like... almost 4 years" He replied. I never knew somebody in the same school as me would be the 3rd best player in the entire game.

"Let me friend request you real quick, my name is Makoto by the way, yours is Kazuko I believe?"
