Leave him alone!

It's been a few weeks since we last left the cabin. Izuku has gotten better with his mental state, I'm glad that he's smiling and giggling now. It makes me super happy!

He tells me when he's down or missing his mom. When he does, I comfort him to make him feel a bit better. Izuku seemed like an innocent person with an innocent soul, probably more broken than innocent, I guess.

We we're running out of supplies, fast. Now that there's 2 people here which made it even faster for supplies to run out.

The only thing that was fine were the medicine.

"Izuku?"

He turned to looked at me from the kitchen. He was making the small can of beans that we had left.

"We need more supplies so ima head to the town, okay?"

He quickly shook his head and ran towards me, "I-I wanna go too! You might need s-someone to help you o-or something?.." He stuttered out.

"I'll be fine Izuku! Here take this radio. It will help us keep in contact while we are away from each other."

I took his hand and placed it in his hand. I placed my hand on top of his and looked up at him with a smile.

"I'll be back.. I promise."

Izuku pulled away and nodded before going back in to give me a hug. I hugged him back before pulling away and heading to the door, grabbing my bag and bat.

Izuku looked at me with a scared look. He was scared of me dying, I can tell.

I gave him a soft smile before looking away and walking out the door, locking it.

I headed towards the town and began my long journey.

I finally made it to the town and searched the whole place.

But it kinda seemed different. Most of the food were gone and most of the medicine.

"Weird."

I picked up the little radio and pressed the button on the side.

"Izuku. Are you doing alright?"

"Y-Yes! I'm fine. I just finished eating and now I'm just waiting in my room for you to come back.."

Izuku sounded kinda shy when he mentioned me. I thought it was cute.

"Okay. I'll be back soon.... I just need to check something first."

He just told me okay and to be careful. I placed the radio in my pocket and walked to the pharmacy, the pharmacy where I first met Izuku.

I walked into the office and saw that Inko's face was exposed.

Her face was rotte, flies and maggots were all around her. Honestly, I wanted to vomit. This was too much for me so I backed out of the office, closing the door as well.

Right when I turned around, there was a gun pointing at me, touching my nose.

"Give me a reason why I shouldnt blow your fucking head off."

A boy with ash blonde spiky hair spat at me with a harsh tone. Next to him was a boy with half crimson and half white hair.

"I was checking on this poor lady. I found her with a boy a few weeks ago."

"Stay out of there."

"Bakugo, I'm pretty sure she might have Midoriya. Calm down-"

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO FUCKING DO, ICY HOT BASTARD!!"

Bakugo shouted, facing the two-toned haired male.

'Now is my chance to run!'

I quickly gathered up my courage and ran as fast as I can. I pulled out my radio and contacted Izuku.

"MIDORIYA!!"

"Wh-What's wrong, [First name]?!"

Before I could respond, I was pinned to the ground by Bakugo roughly, breaking the radio.

"Bakugo, you could have at least been careful!" The hybrid whisper shouted.

"**** BEING CAREFUL! TODOROKI, APPARENTLY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!" Todoroki just sighed and pushed Bakugo off of me. He pushed me towards him and pushed me towards a tree.

Todoroki's glare was scarier than Bakugo's voice.

"We are looking for someone needed Izuku Midoriya, apparently you know where he is. If you don't tell us, it won't be good for you."

"I'm not-" I felt a hard punch to my stomach. That made me want to vomit out my insides.

"I-I don't kn-" I felt that punch again.

"FINE! ME AND HIM ARE STAYING IN A CABIN! I TOOK HIM WITH ME BECAUSE HIS MOM DIED! I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO DIE! PLEASE DON'T HURT HIM!"

I shouted at them, tears threatened to come out my eye sockets.

Once we made it out to the cabin, I opened it up and sat my stuff near the door.

I heard heavy footsteps coming towards us before I felt arms being thrown around me.

"I-I thought you were dead! Please don't scare me like that ever... again.... [First name]...."

I knew he was looking at the two males behind me. He slowly drifted away from me as I looked up at him.

Izuku backed away and looked at them with fear in his eyes.

"Pl-Please! Don't come near me!" He shouted.

Bakugo walked up to him as Todoroki held me back.

'Huh?'

I thought to myself. That's when Bakugo started punching and kicking Midoriya, screaming and begging for help.

I tried to escape Todoroki's grasp but it was no use.

"Stop it! LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

I couldn't see him get hurt again.. Not like this. I continued to struggle until I was free. I didn't want to see someone so broken get hurt anymore.

It pained me. It's making me so mad to see harmful people follow me and arm someone so broken.

'This is my fault.'

I couldn't take this pain anymore.

'You're so helpless.'

It hurts my heart so goddamn bad.

'This is the reason why my family died. It's because I was too much of a coward to save the people I love!'

I screamed at the top of my lungs, trying to attract those walking freaks. I had to do something, I want these people to become one of those things.

"LET.HIM.GO!"

I finally broke free and punched Bakugo with the rage that I have developed. I walked to Midoriya.

He was coughing up blood and crying.

"I'm so sorry.."

I placed his head in my lap and rubbed his head and running my fingers through his fluffy green locks.

I felt him place his hand on my leg. I wanted to cry but I didn't. Bakugo gripped my hair and forced me to look at him.

"We are taking you two extras with us. You're supplies will be useful for us while you two are locked up in our little underground bomb shelter. We have plenty of space for 2 weaklings like you."

Once we made it to the bomb shelter, which was pretty huge inside. Midoriya and I were locked away in a cell. They didn't give us time to look at the 20 people that were there.

"I'm so sorry."

Todoroki was the one that lead us there. I hated him. He made me get Izuku hurt.

"**** you.." was all I said. I didn't want to see him.

"I didn't want this to happen, okay? He forced me to.. If I didn't do it, I would have died."

"Maybe that's what should have happened?" I looked at him for a second before looking down at Midoriya. He laid his head in my lap, sleeping peaceful. I think.

Todoroki walked away with a guilty look on his face.

I looked around and saw that there were 2 beds in the cell. I picked up Midoriya and laid him on one of the bed.

"I'm so stupid.. I didn't mean for this to happen."

I caressed his cheek and moved his hair out of his face. I didn't want this to happen to him. They should have done it to me instead. Izuku is so broken and I don't want him to be broken anymore because of me.

Cuts, bruises, and blood were all over him. That's when k started to cry. I couldn't take it anymore.

"[First name], let me clean him up. That's the least I could do.."

I looked up to see Todoroki with a med kit in his hand. He had eyes of guilt and disappointment in his eyes, idiot.

"No! You sick BASTARD! DON'T TOUCH HIM!"

Todoroki ignored me and walked towards us, "Stay back!" I hugged Izuku tight and whimpered, trying to keep him safe.

Todoroki crouched down next to us and sat the med kit next to him.

I watched as he began to fix up Midoriya and trying to make up for what he did.

"I'm sorry, Midoriya. I didn't want this to happen to you nor your mom." Todoroki said with a saddened tone. He had tears in his eyes.

"B-Broken to.. Falling apart."

Todoroki placed a hand on his arm and rubbed hit gently, trying not to wake him up. I pulled away from them and walked to the other bed. I wanted to fall asleep and never wake up again at this point. Why is life so difficult?

"I'll be back to check up on you too." Todoroki said before walking out.

'Sweet dreams, Midoriya.'

I thought before closing my eyes and drifting away from reality.
