~~ Chapter 5~~

George started to walk with Steven who was following Raymond and lacy. He was still confused why Nate squeezed his waist but then he was getting frustrated and thought to himself,"No I am just overthinking thing." George finally left that thought and covered it with,"I should thank him but how?" He was thinking endlessly and arrived at their class. He *** usual sat down next to Steven who again was keeping an eye on Raymond.

Raymond was having a nice sweet talk with Lacy and totally forgot about Steven.The lecture once again begin. This time too George wrote something and showed it Steven who was surprised as hell.

"Can you give me Nate's mobile number?" Even though Nate and George know each other but they are not in a type of relation ship to talk on calls. They were not even friends. 'They just know each other' This was thought coming into Steven's mind.

Steven reluctantly wrote,"WHY?"

"I just.....wanted to thank him"

Steven eyed George,"But you thanked him earlier."

George was  a bit embarrassed and he don't the reason why,"Ugh..... I wanted to thank him with a meal. Now can you give me his number or not?"

Steven heaved a sigh,"Okay but don't tell him that I gave you his number because It might cause me problems."

George gave him a big smile,"Thank you Steve you are really my best friend."

Steven was now also happy seeing George smile like this. He gave  him a smile and wrote,"now focus on the lecture. I will give you his number after the professor goes."

George didn't wrote back and just nodded at Steven while grinning ear to ear.

This one and half hour lecture felt like a year to everyone. After the lecture George sprang up and looked at Steven who gave him 'I know I know wait a second' look removed his phone out of his Jeans pocket and sent Nate's number to George who hurriedly ran out of the class. Raymond looked at Steven,"What happened to him?" Steven scratched back of his neck,"To give a call or a text.God knows what!" Raymond still confused asked Steven ,"To whom?" Steven stood and packed his things while saying,"To Nate." Raymond was taken aback,"Huh? What?"

Steven,"To thank him for earlier."

On the other side George typed a message,

"Hi Nate it's me George. I wanted to ask you out for a meal. Do you have time?" George read his message before sending it and thought,'I asked for his number but i don't know how to ask him out for a meal? This text feels so stupid. Why am I so stupid?' George was having a mixed feeling which he was not aware of. George immediately discarded this text and typed again,

"Hi Nate. It's me George.

Ugh....I wanted to thank you for earlier.

So Can I ask if you have free time so that I could thank you over a meal." George finally hit the sent button still unsure whether it is a right way to ask him out or not.

But then suddenly his phone rang. It was Nate. He sent George a message which says

"Hi George. You really don't have to thank me. It was nothing much anyway. But if you still insist then i am free this evening. You can treat me then. You can decide the place I am not picky eater anyway. So let's meet this evening. "  After reading this text George was so happy. And then he typed again,

"Thank you. So will 7'o clock work? If yes then please meet me at the 'Zodiac Restaurant on Silver street' I'll send you the exact location later." He again hit the sent button. After a minute he received a new text from Nate which says

*"Okay that works for me. And no need to send me the exact location. I know that place. So see ya later." *

George was now in a good mood but then he realized he left Steven alone without saying anything. He went back to his class and saw Lacy still hanging on Raymond's hand and Steven behind them. The whole class was empty. All of them probably went home since this was the last lecture. It was half past 1 in the afternoon.

George went towards Steven,"I am sorry. So So So Sorry Steve." George was saying sorry continuously and Steven could feel his sincerity,"It's Okay Georgie. It's not your fault as Raymond and Lacy wanted to sit for a while as she is not feeling well." What Steven said was true. Lacy and Raymond did say to him earlier that they wanted to sit as Lacy was feeling nauseous and How he and Raymond had to wait.

George and Steven went back a few benches away from Lacy and Raymond to sit to give them some time. It was not audible for them to hear what Raymond and Lacy talking about and vise versa. There was silence between George and Steven which the latter decided to broke," So how the things went with Nate anyway?" George was taken aback with Steven's question and reluctantly answered him,"It went well. Nate is a nice and kind guy. He first said that it was really no need to thank him but then we decided to meet this evening." Steven was glad to hear that and was going to say something but was interrupted when Raymond called him out leaving his words hanging in the air.

Few minutes earlier

Nate's phone rang. He was in the car with his sister and was driving to his home. After his phone rang  he stopped his car and saw the text which was sent by George. After he read the text he was smiling ear to ear. Kate saw him and asked,"Brother who texted you that you are smiling ear to ear? Is it a girl? Is that person cute?" Kate was bombarding his brother with lots of Question. Nate after ending his chat with George, looked at his sister," Yes that person who texted me is so cute. He is really cute. And I am meeting him this evening" Kate was caught off guard when she heard the word "He" but she actually didn't mind as her brother his very happy because of some He.

Nate and Kate then drove to their house.

Hello guys! I know that this story is going slow. But to tell you the truth I want to take it slow because a love cannot be developed in a day or two. Raymond and Steven started talking after many years so that can't develop a love relation ship so easily. It takes time. So here i am shipping my second treasured couple George and Nate so that you won't get bored. And I promise you that this story will get interesting.
