Bestfriend John and Mark

John walked into his friend Mark's living room and saw him sitting on the couch with a perplexed look on his face.

"What's wrong man?" John asked.

"I just got a text from my ex-girlfriend, she wants to get back together," Mark responded.

"Oh no, the dreaded ex-text," John said jokingly.

"Yeah, I don't know what to do," Mark said.

"You should reply 'new phone, who dis?' and see how she responds," John suggested.

"I don't know if that's the best approach," Mark said, laughing.

"Okay, how about you reply with a picture of a cat wearing a bow-tie and say 'this is what I've been up to,' and then ghost her," John joked.

"I don't think I should ghost her either," Mark said, still laughing.

"Alright, alright. How about you reply with 'I'm sorry, I only speak Spanish now,' and then Google Translate your response," John suggested.

"That could actually work," Mark said, as he pulled out his phone to send the text.

As they waited for a response, John started to tell Mark about a funny video he had seen on YouTube.

"So, there's this video of a cat who's trying to open a door, and it's just pawing at the handle over and over again. It's so funny," John said, imitating the cat's movements.

"That sounds hilarious," Mark said, still waiting for a response from his ex.

Suddenly, Mark's phone buzzed with a message from his ex-girlfriend.

"She said 'I know you're the one for me, please come back,'" Mark read out loud.

"Well, what do you want to do?" John asked.

"I don't know, part of me wants to give it another shot, but part of me thinks it's a bad idea," Mark said.

"I have an idea," John said, getting up from the couch. "Let's flip a coin. Heads, you get back together with her. Tails, you don't."

"Okay, let's do it," Mark said, as they headed to the kitchen to find a coin.

John flipped the coin in the air, and they both watched as it spun around before landing on the kitchen counter.

"Heads," John shouted, holding up the coin.

"Well, I guess that's it. I'm getting back together with her," Mark said, shrugging his shoulders.

"I hope it works out for you man," John said, patting him on the back.

As Mark started to text his ex-girlfriend back, John noticed a spider crawling up the wall.

"Look out man, there's a spider behind you," John said, pointing to the wall.

Mark turned around slowly, and saw the spider crawling towards him.

"Ahhh, kill it!" Mark screamed, jumping up on the couch.

John laughed and grabbed a nearby shoe, preparing to squash the spider.

"Don't miss!" Mark shouted, still on the couch.

John swung the shoe at the spider, but missed and hit the wall instead, leaving a large scuff mark.

"Oh man, I missed," John said, disappointed.

"You owe me a new couch now," Mark joked.

They both laughed and sat back down on the couch, relieved that the spider was gone.

As they sat there, recounting their silly conversation, they both realized that sometimes the best way to deal with life's problems is to just laugh and have some fun.
