Epilogue

ALVAREZ MEDICAL HOSPITAL

The security guard open the main door of the hospital and greeted me when I entered. I smiled at them and greet them too. Habang naglalakad papunta sa elevator, madami akong nakasalubong na mga nurses, other doctors and some hospital staffs, they greeted me and smiled.

When the elevator opens, I went inside and tap the 9th floor button. My personal office is located at the 9th floor of the hospital. My parents owns the Alvarez Medical Hospital. When the elevator 'ding', I got out of the elevator.

Habang papunta na ako sa aking office may mga nakasalubong ako at binati nila ako at ganun din ako

I open the door of my personal office and I went inside. My father was the CEO of the Alvarez Medical Hospital, my mommy was a pedagogue

in exclusive school that I studied in when I was in highschool.

I sat on my white office swiveling chair and checked my schedules today. There's nothing much to do today, just check my patients in the children's ward and a boring meeting with the medical staffs including my father.

After I checked my schedule for today, I get my white coat on my wooden coat rack beside the television. I was wearing a plain dark red midi sleeveless dress that hugged my body perfectly with a pair of black heels and then the white coat.

I entered the Children's Ward with the nurse besides me. I'm with nurse Catherine. When I entered, patient's is smiling at me and give me a "Good Morning" greetings. I checked them all with the help of nurse Cath. After that, I went back to my office with nurse Cath.

I opened the door and sat on my white office swiveling chair and also nurse Catherine sat on the chair in front of my office desk.

"Anica, do you want to go with me?" she ask me with a smile on her face.

"I'm busy, Cath." giving her an apologetic smile.

We used to call ourselves with our first name kapag wala namang nakatingin. We were science club-mates when we were in highschool. I'm the Student Activity Council's president, while Cath is the Student Activity Council's auditor.

Cath really wanted to be a doctor too, but that didn't work out because of her family financial problem.

"There is a new opened coffee shop near here in the hospital, I heard that coffee shop is famous on instagram. You might like it." pagpupumilit sakin ni Cath.

Kala mo naman talaga siya ang may-ari nung coffee shop.

"Next time, cath." I sweetly smiled to Catherine. "Maybe, tomorrow nalang? I have meeting with the medical staffs and I-". Catherine ended my sentence.

"Dami mo namang sinasabi Anica Gabriella!" she laugh. "Then, I'll go na, tapos na duty ko tapos chinichika mo pa ko." Cath got up and kiss my checks before she left the office.

I attend the meeting, as usual it was another boring meeting for me. The CEO of the AMH or my father talked about the renovation of the cafeteria inside this AMH. The head engineer is in front of the board room and discussing something that I didn't understands at all. The head engineer has been my best friend since I was a kid.

After the meeting, I was the first one who leave the board room. I went back to my office and sat on my swiveling chair and checked some medical records of my patients, when my phone vibrates and I saw a message from Cath. I open it right away.

hi bebs, galing ako dun sa coffee shop na sinasabi ko kanina!! omg! ang sarap nung may-ari hahaha i mean ang sarap nang kape

Itong babae na 'to napaka! Ang talas talaga ng mata kapag nakakakita ng gwapo. Buti pa ako.

baka araw arawin mo na pagbili ng kape dyan dahil gwapo yung may-ari hahahah

I closed my phone and put it in my black prada bag. I put all my belongings in the bag and left the office. While I was waiting to the elevator, I saw Jimuel, the head engineer for the cafeteria renovation and also my bestfriend.

"Pauwi ka na?" Jimuel ask me.

"Obvious ba, Engr. Jimuel Jenz Santos?" inirapan ko siya at tumawa ng konti.

We used to be bestfriend since birth. Lagi kami nag-aasaran pero mas madalas akong napipikon kesa kay Jim. Jim is always there for me, through ups and down. I'm thankful that I have a bestfriend like him.

"Sorry naman, doctor kwak-kwak." pang-aasar ni Jim sakin.
