Jungkook is cute... he has a black-belt in Taekwondo, he is good at almost everything, he might be the most pampered maknae..., but above all of these, he is so cute. There's nothing to deny...

He has always been adored by all the members. Taehyung kisses him a lot on his cheeks, even before debut. Namjoon often compliments that Jungkook is handsome. Hobi always showers him with hugs and kisses.

He's a part of a group-chat with male idols born in '97... they adore him too.

Jungkook often told in interviews that Taehyung is the one who made him come out of his shyness. He admires and loves Taehyung so much. Taehyung being the social butterfly, interacts with a huge number of celebrities, whereas, Jungkook barely has a few numbers of friends.

Taehyung has a tiny bit of a problem with others cuddling Jungkook... he is jealous of it! He thinks that Jungkook is fragile and has to be protected from everyone, when the maknae has a black-belt in Taekwondo and is literally the strongest among the members. It is the thought that Jungkook is shy and sensitive, which makes Taehyung want to protect him forever. But, there is something else... some other reason for him to think like that. Jungkook and Taehyung have been together for some time now.

Jungkook confessed his love for the elder in Paris after the KCON in 2016. Both of them went for a walk under the moonlight, and Jungkook almost fainted out of anxiety when he confessed to the elder. Taehyung loves Jungkook, so when the maknae confessed, Taehyung ignored that there can be people around them who know them, and kissed him under the moonlight.

Both of them get flustered when they see different analysis videos on YouTube about their moments together but laugh it off and tease each other.

They become closer and the members have to be careful with their behaviour in front of the cameras. Both of them promised to the members, pdnim and Sejin-hyung that they'll be very careful when they are out of the dorm, where they can be under the focus of a camera.

Only a few people know about their relationship. Even their best friends from the other idol groups don't know about it.

So, when the others meet them during music shows or concerts, Taehyung becomes jealous when any of the others hug Jungkook.

'He is our maknae!!!' Taehyung pouts as they pinch Jungkook's cheeks and ruffle his hair, 'He is OUR cute maknae and MY boyfriend!!'

After going back to their rooms at the end of the schedules, Taehyung goes to Jungkook and cuddles him a lot.

Most of times, Jungkook is overwhelmed with the amount of love that Taehyung showers him with. But, sometimes, he feels tired at Taehyung being a little overboard.

One day, Jungkook goes to pick Yugyeom from his dorm after his practice.

He texts Taehyung that he'll return late to the dorm and goes away.

Taehyung looks at the text and feels sad. Jungkook didn't even bother to tell it to him in person even though all of them stay at the same dorm.

He replies with an 'okay' to the maknae and starts watching anime to take his mind off the jealousy.

'Why can't Jungkook spend some time with me instead of going to meet his other friends? He is sensitive and I want to protect him all the time! He's my boyfriend... What is wrong if I want to spend a lot of time with him??'

His mind is filled with questions like those, because of which he completely ignores what is going on in the anime. He re-watches the episode right from the beginning to watch it completely but after doing that for three times and yet not being able to watch it properly, he shuts down his laptop and screams into his pillow.

Jungkook returns to the dorm after a tired day and takes bath. He goes to Taehyung's room, plops down beside Taehyung on his bed and snuggles the elder tightly.

"What's the smell?" He looks at Taehyung who is not giving him any attention and asks him, "It's really good!"

"This is my new body lotion. If you had spent some time with me, you would know this!" Taehyung pouts but continues to look into his mobile.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook mumbles while trying to pull away Taehyung's mobile.

This turns into a bickering session but they soon ignore everything.

"I want to hold you close like this!" Jungkook hugs him while Taehyung kisses him on his cheeks, forehead, nose...

"Where have you been?"

"I went to meet Yugyeom. He seems to be a little stressed out. So, took him out for bowling."

Taehyung's smile goes away. He is happy that Jungkook is having fun with his friends but he's worried that Jungkook is spending a good amount of time with friends rather than him. After a hectic schedule, he wants to hug the maknae and bask in the love but Jungkook goes away to meet his friends, or work on something.

He doesn't mind when Jungkook works on song covers/works out/learns something new. But, when he goes to meet other people, Taehyung feels jealous of the time that the younger is giving to others and not HIM.

HIS Jungkook!! Isn't he??

"Baby, you just ran away after practice. I wanted to hug you so much!!" Taehyung mumbles while intertwining their hands, "You know? When we hold hands like this, oxytocin is released in our brains, which deepens our bond!" Taehyung speaks while he kisses Jungkook's hand.

Jungkook stares at him for a few seconds, "How do you know all sorts of peculiar things??" He laughs at the elder who only holds him tighter.

"I just want to kiss you-" Taehyung couldn't complete his sentence because the leader comes into their shared room.

Namjoon looks at them and walks out of there.

"Hyung, let's go to my room. I know it is small but no one will disturb us."

But Taehyung doesn't want to move.

"Jungkook! I promised to my bed that I won't get up from it till the morning. I'm not going to break the promise," He says firmly with a pout as Jungkook stands up beside Taehyung's bed.

The maknae looks at him but laughs out, "Stop making fun of me... now let's go!!" But Taehyung is still not willing to break the promise!

Jungkook sighs but throws Taehyung over his shoulder while the elder laughs out. When they go into the living room, Jimin, Yoongi and Jin look at them in between watching tv while eating snacks.

Jungkook walks to Jin, asking him for some of the snacks whilst holding a squirming Taehyung over his shoulder.

Taehyung gives up on trying to free himself as he is no match to the maknae's strength.

Jungkook bickers with Jin for some snack and slaps the eldest on the arm. Jin glares at him but offers the snack to the maknae.

Jimin and Yoongi stare at him for a moment but continue watching tv.

Jungkook takes Taehyung into his room and puts him on the floor to stand as he takes away all the things lying on the floor. Taehyung slaps his arm, "You should keep your room clean!!" He scolds the maknae who just gives him an apologetic look but ushers him to lie on the bed.

Both of them lie beside each other holding their hands. After talking for a while, Jungkook turns away from Taehyung and pulls the elder close to himself.

"Goodnight, Tae."

Taehyung holds him tight and squeezes the maknae, who shouts and slaps Taehyung's arms, "Hyung, you are crushing me!!" The maknae turns around to look at the elder who has a pout, "Hyung, why do you look worried about something?"

Taehyung shakes his head but Jungkook is persistent in asking the same thing until he gets the answer from Taehyung.

"Nothing!" He closes his eyes and tries to sleep.

Jungkook shrugs it away after a few minutes and hugs the elder as they slowly fall asleep.

The next week, Taehyung asks Jungkook out on a date, "Baby, it's been so long that we went on a date...", Taehyung mumbles into Jungkook's chest as they snuggle at a corner of the couch.

Jungkook hums while kissing Taehyung on the top of his head, "Okay. We're free the next Monday."

"Yeah. Let's go for dinner."

On the day of the date, Jungkook is late by a few minutes, which makes Taehyung turn mad at him. Sometimes, he doubts if Jungkook really loves him or if he lost interest in the elder.

But as soon as he sees the younger's bunny face, a smile appears on his face which disappears instantly when he sees Mingyu hugging Jungkook from behind. He is very tall, so Jungkook looks squished by his hug. There are other members from Seventeen who followed them.

'What are his friends doing here on our date?' Taehyung becomes a little disappointed that their date might get interrupted but he hugs all the members of the other band and soon, they start to eat while making fun of each other.

Jungkook looks genuinely happy but when Taehyung thinks about the date, he gets saddened by the thought that they didn't spend any time alone. It also bothers Taehyung to see Jungkook being hugged by his '97 liner friends.

He knows that Jungkook doesn't have many friends unlike him... the maknae can't open up easily with everyone like how Taehyung does.

Even then, the elder feels jealous of the moments he is not able to spend with Jungkook... 'his' Jungkook.

After going back to dorm, Taehyung goes into his room right away without speaking anything with Jungkook.

The maknae spends sometime with his hyungs and goes into Taehyung's room.

Taehyung ignores him which makes the maknae get surprised. Taehyung is usually very cuddly and clingy especially with Jungkook. But, today, he isn't even looking at him.

"Tae?" Jungkook runs his fingers through the elder's hair but Taehyung shoves his hand away.

"Hyung, what's wrong?" Jungkook asks a little impatient. They went out to eat and the food was really good. Why is he mad now?

Taehyung turns away from him but Jungkook is persistent. He holds Taehyung's arms and makes the elder look into his eyes.

"Tell me what's wrong??"

"Go away!!" Taehyung shouts at him and they start arguing about the 'date'.

"Hyung, I didn't know that they'll come to the restaurant at that same time. I even asked Mingyu about it but he told that they made an impromptu decision to go out and eat. It was just a coincidence. Why are you mad at me?"

"I wanted to go out on a date with you. DATE!!" Taehyung shouts at a clueless Jungkook, as the maknae still doesn't understand what had angered Taehyung so much.

They fight so loud that the hyungs sitting in living room can hear their voices perfectly.

But Taehyung and Jungkook soon reconcile and cuddle in the bed.

Taehyung kisses the younger while playing with his earring.

"Hyung, I love you so much!!" Jungkook holds the elder tight to pepper him with kisses.

Taehyung giggles because of all the kisses, "I love you Kookie!!"

Their fights continue to grow because of Taehyung's jealousy added to Jungkook being clueless.

One day, Jungkook goes to watch a movie with his friend. Taehyung planned to watch a movie at the dorm along with the maknae but when he sees Jungkook's text, he gets disheartened.

He then calls his Hwarang hyungs and spends the night at Hyungsik's house.

It continues the same way, with Jungkook meeting his 97 liner friends and Taehyung gets angered more and more which makes him avoid Jungkook and go out to meet his other friends.

The members are afraid that they are going to drift apart if they continue fighting this way. They want to have a discussion with Taehyung and Jungkook but both of them avoid meeting the members after practice sessions.

At MCountdown, things worsen. Jungkook really misses Taehyung spending time with him like before. He goes around the stage and backstage to speak to Taehyung but the elder remains cold towards him.

Hobi observes everything that is happening between them. He comforts Jungkook but decides to talk about it after they return to dorm.

Jungkook tries so hard that day, to make Taehyung speak to him but the elder doesn't give him any attention.

It is as if Jungkook doesn't exist in front of him. The maknae gets hurt but he doesn't give up.

But when Jungkook keeps texting with his 97 liner friends in the group chat, Taehyung gets annoyed even more and decides not to speak to the maknae for a few days.

Jungkook keeps singing 'We don't talk anymore' while going back to dorm after the show. Jimin looks at him worried, "Is everything alright?"

Jungkook shakes his head. He couldn't stop himself from crying so he tears up in the car. Hobi, Jimin and Yoongi comfort the maknae but they want to help him with the fights.

Jungkook is still oblivious to Taehyung's jealousy. Taehyung stays quiet on the way back home in the car with Jin and Namjoon. Jin tries to cheer him up with some dad jokes but Taehyung doesn't smile. Instead, he starts crying.

Sejin managernim looks at Taehyung with worry, so Jin stops him from crying till they reach the dorm.

After going back, Jin takes Taehyung and Namjoon into his room.

He gives some snacks to Taehyung while the younger stops sobbing.

"What had happened with the two of you?" Namjoon asks Taehyung with worry mixed with a frown.

Jin glares at the leader for using that tone with Taehyung. Obviously, fights like these will give off a different vibe to the fans about members but this is not the way to console a hurt person.

Jin turns to Taehyung and cups his face, "Taetae, you know that we all are there to support you both, don't you?

When you guys told us about your relationship, we felt happy... very happy for you. But, it shouldn't decrease your happiness. I've told you then, that if you guys fight or make everything complicated, we'll help you resolve your fights so that the team dynamics are not affected.

Now, I don't know what is happening with you both, but, I'm worried not only about the team but also about you two as a friend."

Taehyung immediately hugs Jin and starts crying again, "Hyung, he doesn't give me any importance-"

"Taehyung-ah, that's not true. Everyone, literally everyone knows how important you are to Jungkook.

You open YouTube and see any fan-made video of how Jungkook treats you or looks at you. It is filled with so much love that I sometimes envy you... that I'm not in a relationship. You have something that none of your hyungs have." Namjoon tells him.

"No, hyung. These days, he just goes out to meet his friends. I plan a lot of things for him and me, but he goes away without telling me. I get disappointed at his behaviour."

Jin and Namjoon look at each other but Jin speaks out, "Tae, you go out to meet your friends too... You have way too many friends compared to Jungkook-"

"Yeah but-" Taehyung pauses and looks away as he sniffles.

"What?" Jin tries to turn Taehyung's face towards them but the younger doesn't respond.

"Tae-"

"I'm jealous, alright??!"

Jin and Namjoon look at him dumbstruck.

Why is Taehyung jealous?? Jungkook is closest to him, he cuddles no one else like he cuddles Taehyung, he treats him tenderly rather than how he punches Jin, he responds only to Taehyung when any of them send him a text message, he literally looks at Taehyung like he is a mix of all the seven wonders of the world!!

"Are you crazy??" Namjoon asks Taehyung, "You know how much he loves you-"

"Then why does he-"

"Taehyung!!" Jin speaks firmly, "Why are jealous??" He crosses his arms and Taehyung knows not to act silly now.

"Hyung" he gulps and looks at Jin. When the elder speaks in a serious voice, Taehyung becomes startled.

"I don't like it when anyone cuddles with my Jungkook. I just- I just want to protect him!"

Namjoon and Jin facepalm at his words, "You, Kim Taehyung want to protect Jeon Jungkook, the muscle pig, from his friends when they cuddle him??

Yeah! It suddenly makes so much sense to me!!" Namjoon glares at Taehyung in disbelief.

"Hyung, I'm telling you the truth-"

"This is ridiculous!!" Namjoon whisper shouts at him.

The elders don't know how to respond to this situation as they really couldn't understand the logic in Taehyung's words.

"Hyung, I mean- ugh I don't know!! I just feel so jealous when I can't spend time with him while his friends can. He is my boyfriend!!" Taehyung sulkily looks at them.

The elders lose their mind at his words, "You're turning possessive over him!" Jin shakes his head but Taehyung stops him.

"I'm not!! I have no worries if he just gives me some time to spend with him besides him meeting his friends... it's- I mean- hyung, I keep getting excited to spend time with him only to know that he already made plans with someone else! It really hurts me!

Along with that, he was not comfortable with skinship-"

"WAS not... He IS comfortable now!!" Namjoon adds to his sentence.

"I know!! But, that is because of me. You knew him very well right from the start. He was so shy and hated skinship. I... I was the reason he opened up!"

"So, now you're not comfortable that he hugs or cuddles with others!!" Namjoon speaks out but Taehyung looks confused.

"It's not like that... It's just that... I mean..." He gives up on explaining and sighs.

"Taehyung, you shouldn't be so jealous about it. I understand that you want to spend more time with him but your relationship with him should affect his friendships in a negative way. If you keep being jealous and possessive like this, your relationship won't even last a few weeks.

Jungkook is that sort of guy who needs time to get closer with people. You know him better than any one of us... so you should know this too!

Also, you can't control anyone's life. If he wishes to spend more time with his friends, then let him. If that bothers you so much, speak it out. Unless you tell it to him- trust me when I say this- he won't understand it!!

So, go to him and talk about it!" Jin explains Taehyung while the leader nods at Jin's words.

Jungkook, Hobi, Yoongi and Jimin go into Jimin's room that he shares with Hobi.

Hobi hugs the maknae and asks him to calm down but he keeps crying.

"I love him so much but I can't understand what's going on!" He says in between sobs.

Hobi holds him and rubs his back to console him, "I know... We all know that! But, do you know what made him angry??"

"I don't know..."

"Did anything change recently?" Yoongi asks the maknae.

Jungkook shakes his head but starts to think about everything that has happened in the past few weeks.

"I can only say that when I go to meet my friends or if we get interrupted on our date, he gets mad at me. After that he kisses me and cuddles me so much that I sometimes want to fight with him just to get more kisses!" He gets flustered but also cries some more.

The three hyungs muffle their laughs at his words.

"Jungkook-ah, what about today? What happened today that made him go mad at you?"

"I-I was just texting my friends... the '97 liners. He kept looking at me in disbelief and was avoiding me the whole time. He was never so mad at me like he was today." He stops crying but his face is a mess.

"Yah! I'll be back in a minute. Sit here!" Hobi goes out of the room while Jimin makes the maknae sit on his lap.

"Jungkook, he is jealous!" Yoongi tells him as he runs his fingers through the younger's hair.

"What?" He looks at Yoongi puzzled and confused.

Jimin sighs, "Taehyung is so expressive with many things but when it comes to his feelings, he is completely clueless. He doesn't speak out when it is required.

Yoongi-hyung is right. He is jealous."

"Jealous of what? He knows that I love him so much-"

"It's not about that!! He might be feeling jealous when your friends are more..." Yoongi looks for the right word.

"More what?" Jungkook sniffles. He becomes a little impatient as he wants to know what is bothering Taehyung.

"Maybe, when they are cuddlier towards you??" Jimin guesses it.

"Yeah... something like that!" Yoongi nods at Jimin, "He was the one that made you come out of your shyness. Now that you are comfortable in hugging or cuddling your friends besides the members, he might be jealous. Also, as per what you told, he fights with you whenever you go out to meet friends.

So, I guess he is just jealous of the time that he is not able to spend with you.

Let's face it, when he's planning something for you and then you say that you already have plans with someone else, it disappoints him... it happens with anyone. But here, Taehyung is confused too. So, talk about it to Taehyung."

Jungkook cries again as he thinks that everything is so complicated because he couldn't understand it before. He always thought that the fights are making Taehyung to kiss him more and honestly, Jungkook has been enjoying the increased attention... but he couldn't understand that the reason behind the fights are making Taehyung more frustrated.

Jimin holds Jungkook tightly from behind and the maknae places his hands on the elder's hands.

The door opens suddenly and Taehyung enters it calling out Hobi's name. He freezes when he sees Jungkook sitting on Jimin's lap.

Taehyung storms out in disbelief.

"Hyung-" Jungkook runs behind him but Taehyung goes into his room and locks it from inside.

Jungkook sends him so many texts that he wants to talk to him about everything. But Taehyung ignores his texts while crying alone in his room.

The next day when they meet for practice, Taehyung completely ignores the maknae but looks at him whenever the maknae is looking away.

He misses talking normally with Jungkook. It hurts him to see that the younger is suffering but he doesn't want to speak to him yet.

Added to this, Jungkook goes out to spend some time alone and runs into some of his friends. When Taehyung sees the maknae's pictures with his friends, he gets more annoyed.

One day, Jungkook records a cover of 'We don't talk anymore" and makes all the members listen to it. After listening to it, Taehyung cries in front of Jimin but he still doesn't want to talk to the younger. He is too stressed to speak anything about it.

The hyungs are tired of all the drama. It is really affecting the group.

So, Jin forces the both of them to sit inside Jungkook's room and locks it from outside.

"You brats talk about everything that's bothering you! I'm really really tired of your soap-opera.

Y punch or kick or pull each other’s hair but by tomorrow morning, I want everything to be resolved!!" Jin speaks from outside the door and goes away but walks back to the door, "I kept so many snacks and some water inside the room, so you need not worry about being hungry. Nobody is going to open this door till tomorrow morning!" He madly shouts at them but becomes worried as he goes into the kitchen where the others are waiting for him.

"Do you think it'll work?" Jimin asks him in concern.

"I don't know... but let's hope they'll open up to each other."

Jungkook and Taehyung sit in the room but look away from one another.

After a few minutes, Jungkook is about to say something but the elder receives a text from someone.

Taehyung opens it to see pictures of Bogum.

Jungkook momentarily gets jealous but brushes it away, since he knows that 'jealousy' is exactly the reason that they're fighting now. He also knows that Taehyung loves him and only him.

So, he waits for a few minutes before speaking to Taehyung.

They start speaking which was normal at first but they fight for more than an hour.

"Wait. I need some water!" Jungkook looks at the water bottle and drinks some before offering it to Taehyung who refuses to take it.

"Drink some water! We have been fighting for so long!!" Jungkook shouts at him.

Taehyung stares at him for a few seconds and chuckles.

'We madly care for each other even when we are fighting... All the fights are meaningless because of they only arise because of some petty reasons. What we have in between us is far stronger and more important then the jealousy or misunderstandings.

Even after fighting so much and crying for many days, nothing has changed between us. We love each other the same. How stupid were we to fight because of my jealousy!' Taehyung keeps looking at Jungkook.

He then bursts into laughter when Jungkook looks at him like a confused puppy.

"What's so funny??" Jungkook speaks out loud while crossing his arms. He frowns a little when Taehyung shakes his head.

"Is this a joke to you, hyung-"

"We care for each other so much but we are the biggest idiots ever!" Taehyung says which makes Jungkook startle.

He wants to speak out something... anything... but he couldn't.

"Baby, I'm sorry that I was so jealous!" Taehyung walks towards the younger and cups his face, "I am sorry that I fought with you for so many things. I was just, you know... I was jealous and maybe a little possessive of my boyfriend-" he kisses the younger on his forehead, "but I understand that I'm wrong. I shouldn't have done that.

I never thought about it from your side. I always felt that I wasn't being your first priority when I have planned so much, just for the both of us... but I didn't realize that I am being unreasonable." Taehyung hugs him but pulls himself back when he hears the younger crying.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. Please don't cry!" Taehyung wipes his tears but Jungkook sobs and cries even more.

"Go away!"

Taehyung kisses him on his cheeks and nose but the younger mumbles the words, "Go away!!"

They hug each other for some time before Jungkook stops crying.

"I promise not to be so stupid from now." Taehyung looks at the younger with a pout, who only slaps him on the arm.

"Plan for a date and tell me the time as soon as you make a plan." Jungkook holds the elder's hand and kisses.

"Okay!

Shall I text Jin-hyung to unlock the door from outside?" Taehyung takes out his mobile but Jungkook stops him, "Leave it like that... let's cuddle."

"Yah, the hyungs will be worried-"

"Tae, of course they know that we'll reconcile. Now, put your mobile away and cuddle with me. I missed you so much!!"

Taehyung laughs and shakes his head, "You're crazy!!"

"Yeah, just for you!!" The maknae answers as they cuddle each other and talk about many things that they couldn't, in the past few days.

After so many kisses and a few promises that they'll be more careful about their relationship, Taehyung slowly drifts into sleep in Jungkook's arms.

Jungkook smiles at his angel. He takes out his mobile to text Jin.

'Thank you, hyung! We are okay now!'

'I knew my plan would work...! Who do you think I am?!'

Jungkook chuckles at Jin's text but puts away his mobile to hold Taehyung closely.

"I love you, Tae." He whispers to the elder and falls asleep.
