Chasing For Your Love

Chasing For Your Love

Watch Your Cycling

"Next time, I really shouldn't stay up till late at night and suffer like this..." Yuan Xiao cycling her bicycle faster imagining her soon to be corrupted reputation from coming late.

Paddling a bicycle is way more convenient compared to taking a car which would obviously be stuck in the morning jams. That was just the usual week for the inhabitants in the busy city.

The super strict discipline teacher must already be prepared with her huge butcher knife waiting to chop down one's head. One of a horrible thing she never wishes to experience ever, well, who would want to?

*wreghh *

‘What the freak?’

Despite having her nerves chilled, she kept on cycling not wanting to be punished on an important day. Out of curiosity, she glanced back scanning for the source of the extremely odd sound.

Surprise, surprise, it was a wild car chasing her bike from behind. Technically, it was running for something else that is ahead of her

“It sounds like something really big was stuck in its throat..."

Xiao muttered, disheartened by the fact that she was dumbfounded to found she was fooled by a cat. Somehow, why is she feeling so sad, was she even expecting something?

She shakes her head in disagreement, before start focusing on the road ahead. However, so suddenly, her vision blackened all over and without any delay, her consciousness flew away out of her body...

'It hurts...' She thoughts as soon as her eyes opened up.

With that said, she carefully unwinds slowly her violet eyes but the sight was still blurry. Subconsciously, she attempted to rub her eyes but the stinging pain on her hand said the otherwise.

“Ouch!” She whined with furrowed eyebrows and crinkled forehead from dealing with the pain, waiting for ut to subside.

The aching on her body caught her attention. Her petite hand was ****** with a needle meanwhile her head was tightly wrapped, almost turn her into a mummy.

Not your Mummy, its the other one.

Her blanking mind repeated on the same question with literally no answer. Stating the obvious, she perhaps got caught in a pretty bad accident...but how that happened went out of her mind.

With each slight motions, her body stung as if being poked by thousands of needles from every side. Hopelessly, she sighed thinking of the upcoming martial art competition that takes place in her academy.

Based on the troubling condition she was in, it is feasible saying that it might take around a few months before all part of her body properly healed up.

“...what do I do now?”

That was her words but she did nothing but waiting for just anyone to come and help her out. She was powerless in the condition.

After a period of waiting, a nurse in her white uniform entered her room and as expected, was stunned to see her awake. Shortly after, she went to notify the doctor in charge.

And once again after a series of waiting, a doctor performed a medical check-up on her with the assistance of the young nurse.

"What is her condition?" A man in total black suit consults the doctor as soon as he finished the check-up.

Despite the distances between her bed and their positions, she managed to eavesdrop to their voices.

"Fortunately, she had no side effects or any casualties except for the treated injury and will be fully healed after another week. Its truly is a miracle to be healed in such a short time after such a bad accident, you know.” The doctor made his remarks, as he stared onto the files he's been holding.

"Thank you, man." The doctor hands patted on his shoulder with a collected smile before walked away from the man to proceed with his job.

That man who looks like he acted in MIB appeared like he was pretty familiar with the doctor, no? This was unrelated to the current situation but why was he always holding his ebony suitcase around like it stored some important documents?

"Can you tell me your name, miss?" He started his interrogation. For some reason, it seemed like the likes of people like him would usually run a background check but he doesn't seem to retrieve any special information...

"I'm afraid that that is inappropriate for me due to personal reason.” Xiao retorted, not wanting to easily expose her name for some odd stranger that appeared hella suspicious.

“Then, anything I can call you by?” He insisted on a name when she insisted on not telling anything.

“Anything is fine. Can you explain what happened to me to be laid sick on the bed?" Her question was pretty straightforward thinking about how she wouldn't want to mess up her already messy mind from the incidents.

Not to forgot that her current identity was a boy or more precisely her younger twin brother, Yuan Xianyu.

It seemed like the wig had a hard time falling off and what's good is that her body is completely fine and had nobody check-up as her head was the only thing that suffered. Her identity remained in hushed fortunately.

“Around five days ago, when you are on your way...perhaps to the school, you were sent flying from a hit from our young master's car.” He explained with the points without stretching them.

"Sent flying? An accident...but may I know who you are?" Xiao's suspicion was never removed considering how she doesn't even know anything about the person sitting in front of her.

"I am the special personal assistant of the young master Zhou Ling, Guo Luming but people usually just call me, Ming." Ming introduced herself in front of the young lady who he had to take responsibility for his crash.

That long title of him had her pretty startled, not to say why would someone name his secretary with such a ridiculously long title.

"Then again, Ming told me I remained unconscious for five days, is it possible that today is...” Xiao head back to her main concerns regarding the academy stuff.

It was fine back at home as she notified the attendant of her absence before recalling how she said she was going to sleepover at one of her friend's house.

"Indeed, today is Sunday." Firmly he answered.

“Oh no...I have a martial art competition due tomorrow...” Xiao shooked her head, kind of feeling wasted from doing absolutely nothing.

“Please refrained doing so, or else you might only make it tough for your body to properly heal up. You are banned from doing any hard works in the meanwhile.” Ming reminded her with a long sheet of her should and shouldn't do list.

That list was specially prepared by the doctor who stops by earlier.

“Then, can I please be discharged tomorrow?” Xiao sought for her freedom verbally. She's seriously going to pass away from boredness sitting on a bed doing nothing.

“That's pretty impossible. It's only been five days, not even a week since you are hospitalised but I am certain it would only take another week before you return.”

“My smartphone... is it gone?”

“No, somehow, it survived from the crash. Please inform us if you would need any compensation.” Ming handed her the newest version of the smartphone belonged to her back to the owner. He founded it by chance when he crashed.

“It's fine as it's half my fault anyway,” Xiao replied.

“Also, gentleman you mentioned that your school holding a martial arts competition tomorrow. Do you by any chance went to the same school as young master?”

Ming asked since she wasn't wearing a school uniform on her way to school. Coincidentally, the only schools he knows that required the student to change their clothes at school was the academy.

“Perhaps? Where did he go for schooling?”

“The Academy of Gems Irises.” The answer from his mouth startled her as unknowingly he actually did go to the same academy.

“What was his name again?”

"Zhou Ling, he's quite known in that academy.”

‘Hold on...that name refreshed my memories. If he was talking about that ‘Zhou Ling’...’
