Chapter 02

His eyes landed on the road which can be clearly seen through the transparent glass display in front of the café. The next thing he saw made his eyes widen.

There was a group of six cops chasing after a man who had his body fully covered, not even leaving a tiny bit of skin to be seen.

A big black hoodie to cover his torso and head, a pair of shiny black shoes and gloves to protect his hands and feet, a tight thick black pants and lastly, a black and white mask which was black on the left and white on right, showing off a creepy smile which made Jungkook feel shivers down his spine.

He noticed something on the dominant hand of the said man which he is not really sure about what it was.

People around the area panicked and started running here and there, making the situation more difficult for the cops to catch the masked man.

A police man tried to shoot the man's thigh for which he professionally dodged and continued running while the other cops also tried to shoot him only for him to dodge over everything like a piece of cake.

This continued for a while until Jungkook heard another gun shot but this time, it was not from the police men. The hooded man shot right at the diesel tank of a car which he just passed by making it explode with a loud bang. The explosion threw the vehicle a few metres above the ground and crushed four of the police men before they could escape from the huge disaster they got themselves into.

He casually turned around and within a second, the other two cops were lying lifeless on the road with a bullet in their head each.

"Tsk, such a waste of time" the masked man mumbled to himself and disappeared into the mess of the crowd.

Jungkook caught himself watching the scene that just happened in front of him with an open mouth.

"So, that thing was a gun..." his brain finally concluded.

Namjoon was shook from the mess that just took place but quickly snapped back and turned to look at the younger's state totally acknoledged about his hemophobia.

Jungkook looked around the surrounding area and the lifeless bodies of the cops... that's when the brunette's senses came rushing back and hit him like a train.

"WHAT THE **** JUST HAP-"

The youngest of the two tried to yell out in fear but was cut off when he felt the urge to throw up. He quickly ran to the direction of the café's washroom, covering his mouth with his non-dominant hand.

The tallest of the two waited outside the washroom, totally concerned about the younger. And when he finally did, Namjoon's eyebrows formed into a frown when he saw the sight in front of him.

The poor boy came out of the washroom with a fear-sticken face which took over the adorable bunny smile that the brunette had moments ago and a shaking body which makes it so obvious that he is scared and sick.
