Episode 3 The interview

Rain had been anxiously waiting for a call from the Wilson Group after Jasmin told her about the job. She was overjoyed when she finally received a call from them for an interview, which was scheduled for the following Monday, just three days away. Rain immediately thought of calling NYX, to share the good news, but since she and NYX were meeting up anyway cause NYX's is going on a business trip soon, she decided to save the news for when she will she her face to face then.

On Sunday, Rain and NYX were having a movie night when Rain excitedly told NYX about the interview. NYX was thrilled for Rain and started giving her some tips on how to ace the interview. She joked, "Just remember, if they ask you a question you don't know the answer to, just start singing 'Baby Shark'." They both burst into laughter and continued watching the movie.

As Rain got ready for the interview the next day, she received messages from all her friends wishing her luck. She was grateful to have such a supportive group of friends. On the day of the interview, Rain was a bundle of nerves. NYX could sense it through the phone and tried to calm her down with some cheesy jokes. "Why did the tomato turn red? Because it saw the salad dressing!" Rain rolled her eyes but couldn't help but chuckle.

As she arrived at the Wilson Group headquarters, Rain took a deep breath and walked in. She was directed to a waiting room and was soon called in for her interview. Rain gave herself a reassuring smile and wished herself luck as she walked in. Two people were sitting across the table waiting for her.

The first person was Naomi, the CEO's right-hand person, childhood friend, and rumored lover of Mr. Wilson. They were in the news a lot since the Wilson Group was such a big company, and the rumor was that she took a bullet for Mr. Wilson once.

The second person was Mr. Kwon, the CEO's left-hand man. Rain had heard about him before. He was the person the CEO trusted the most after Naomi.

The interview started, and Rain answered the questions confidently, even when they challenged her abilities. Naomi and Mr. Kwon were impressed with her skills and her positive attitude. They asked her some tough questions, but Rain was able to answer them all without breaking a sweat.

Naomi and Mr. Kwon discussed something between themselves for a few seconds, and then Naomi turned to Rain and said, "We will let you know. It was nice meeting you, Miss Rain."

As she walked out of the interview room, Rain was lost in thought, wondering how she had done. She suddenly bumped into someone, and her glasses fell off. She quickly went to pick them up and apologized for bumping into the person. As she looked up to thank the person who had handed her glasses back to her, she realized with surprise and shouted out loud YOUUUUUUUU!
