Meet Again Pt. 1

Emilia's P.O.V.

2 years. It has been 2 years since I left the hospital. After that, I found a job as a maid at a noble's house which was the Maxwell's.

Life there was very nice, everyone was kind and they treated me like family. The heir, France Maxwell, who is 23 years old, is my master.

I was his personal maid and all I had to do there was accompany him in events. I guess I was lucky, I thought I was going to die 2 years ago.

"Hey Emmy!" France shouted through the hall.

Emmy has been my nickname. Everyone in the house called me Emmy because I was close to all of them.

"Yes?" I ran towards him.

"I have something to tell you." he gestured me to follow him.

"What's happening?" I was curious.

"The current king is ill and is stepping down on his throne and is giving to his son!" he sounded delighted.

"Why are you so happy?" I questioned him.

"That king is horrible! He is the worst king I have ever seen." he exclaimed.

"Then his son is going to be the next king?" I asked.

"Yes, and you need to come with me to the coronation." he told me.

"When will it be held?" I asked for the last time.

"3 days in time." he answered.

"Okay." I replied.

Before I knew it, it was already the coronation day.

France and I were getting ready because we were going to stay there for a month.

"Emmy! Are all of your things ready?" France asked me.

"Yup." I replied.

Before we left, France's parents, Ruby and Harold approached us.

"Farewell son." Harold said.

"Take care of Emilia! If I find out she was hurt in any way possible, you're dead to me." Ruby announced.

'Eh?! Shouldn't it be the opposite?! But then again, we treat each other here like family so... I guess it's okay.'

"It's okay mother, I'll never let Emilia get injured." France ensured them.

"I hope you do." Harold added.

"Sir, the carriage is ready." one of the maids said.

"Just a second." France told the maid.

"Goodbye, mother, and father." France told them.

"Goodbye, Mrs. and Mr. Maxwell." I followed.

As we exited the house, we entered the carriage.

"You excited to see the palace?" France questioned me.

"Of course!" I screamed.

After hours of conversing with France, we finally arrived at our destination.
