PROLOGUE

Marella was just in her room on a normal saturday night. The breeze flowed in the room through the opened window. She laid on her bed and was already in her pajamas showing it was time for bed. She was doing her normal before-bed routine which was to stare at pictures of her crush, Jaden.

"Oh Jaden, if only I could meet you in real life"

She said as she continued staring at a photo of Jaden, studying his bright ocean blue eyes that looked straight into her soul, his jet black wavy hair that was sleeked back, his perfect smile that displayed his upper dentition of white non-spaced teeth, his tanned skin that glowed beautifully and admiring his black jacket and black jean trousers which matched his white inner t-shirt and his shoes.

Jaden was a seventeen years old boy (that is one year older than Marella) who was a member of the boy band, Seven Waves. She loves their music especially her favourite song, FREAK CROWN. Seven Waves is made up of the main vocalists, Frank, Jaden and Zander, the rappers, Simon and Dee and the sub-vocalists, Kris and Don. They had performed in many countries but Nigeria wasn't one of them so Marella had always wished to go to the U.S. but her parents couldn't afford it.

At that time of her life, Marella had no hope of ever seeing her crush in real life since she lived all the way in Nigeria far away from the U.S. She could never go to any of his concerts or his fansigns. She actually found out about seven waves from one of her friends, Diane.

Diane had always been blabbing on and on about a new boyband from Starup entertainment so she decided to do her research. Immediately she saw their picture, Jaden totally caught her eye and she fell for him straightaway. It was love at first sight.

She looked at the time on the laptop.

"it's pretty late"

She closed her laptop and tucked herself into bed. She laid still on her back as she stared at the ceiling with her head full of thoughts.

She remembered those days when she would tell her friends that she would date Jaden one day and they would laugh at her, telling her it would only be in her dreams or she was living in a fantasy world or it was very impossible or he wouldn't date a nigerian and so many other things to discourage her.

She started fantazing. An image of her and Jaden playing in the beach popped up in her head. They were playing in the water. Nobody was around them. He was chasing her on the shores.

Finally, she was feeling sleepy and tried hard to stay awake to continue her fantasy but the sleep got the best of her.

"I hope i'll meet you one day"

She slept off into another fantasy awaiting her in her dreams.
