Moonlight dancers

It was January 5th, year 2012. The audience was huge. The people was screaming. "Yanyan!!" "We love you!!" "Marry me Luo Yang!!" "Yanyan and Luo forever!" The stage was abnormally huge. There was no wall above and behind the stage. It was open and the sweet moonlight was gently hitting our backs while we were facing the curteins waiting for them to open. The crowd was excited but I was nervous although I had done this millions of times before. Luo noticed my anxiety. He turned his head and looked at me. "Don't worry Yan." he whispered to me "I'm here." Then he smiled. "Thank you Luo." I smiled, feeling a little bit better. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WE PRESENT YOU.... THE "MOONLIGHT DANCERS!" The curteins fell. It started. I felt my body taken away by the rythm as I was dancing under the moon. It was huge. We danced again, just like the first time, but this time we were more experienced. Luo grabbed me from the waist for the ending figure. The magical music was caressing my ears. My eyes were twinkling and my golden dress was sparkling. Luo was smiling at my but was also focused at the music. Everything was like a dream. I closed my eyes as I put all my trust in Luo. He picked me up and and holded me high with one arm. His palm was lifting me up by the stomach. Our figures were magical. Neither of us ever thought about falling or losing control because we fully trusted each other. We were indeed the "Moonlight dancers".

5 years later

- Yanyan. Yanyan... Yanyan!!

- Uh?! Oh... yes. Sorry Yaoyao. I fell asleep.

- It's okay Yanyan... Um.. you...called the name "Luo Yang" in your dream. What were you dreaming about?

[ Yanyan: - Oh right. I was dreaming about mine and Luo Yang's last dance performance together. ]

There was silence for a few minutes. Then, the silence broke when Yaoyao said:

- Yanyan...

- Yes?

- Have you ever thought about... starting ballet again?

Yanyan didn't say anything. She just slowly lowered her head and her face expression changed to a more regretful and sadder. Yaoyao noticed that, then quickly said:

- I'm sorry Yanyan.… Do you want to eat something?

- It's okay Yaoyao. Let's go to dinner together.

Yanyan forced a smile on her face.

They left Yaoyao's house and went for lunch.

Yanyan was deep in thoughts during her lunch with Yaoyao. Yaoyao noticed that.

[ Yaoyao: - Yanyan, is it really Luo Yang that you are thinking about? I hope you aren't. I don't want you to get hurt again... ]

Although Yaoyao was trying to protect Yanyan, she couldn't decide for her. Yanyan will have to make her own desicions. But, will she make the right ones??
