It was a promotion day Pawny woke up at 9 o clock sharp and ran as fast as he could which was not very fast but he made it to the promotion day ceremony every thing was draped in ashy black marble and the king was on a podium up high the king started to speak “ as you all know one of you is going to get a promotion.The person who wil get a promotion is …Patrick the pawn come up you will be promoted to a Rook "then Patrick started to change he was melting but then he refused but he wasn’t a pawn anymore he was a Rook and then the ceremony was over pawny ran back to his house in tears he had wanted to get promoted for the last 5 years.There were only three pawns left the king was going to need to hire some more pawns.all of a sudden his friend Bob the Bishop and then started chatting about promotion ceremonies Bob had be around way longer than he had Bob gave him a tissue to dry his eyes.On the other side of the chess board Peru the pawn was having trouble too her friends like Billy the Bishop,Kevin the knight were way in front of her they were sneaking into the black base so they left her as look out but she didn’t want to be look out so she was trying to get in black base too.They were trying to get into black base so they could get a promotion tomorrow the white promotion day went after the black promotion day.Then Peru saw some thing it was a flash of black and intensely she knew what it was. The black flash were in fact a Rook but not just any Rook. it was Patrick.Back to Pawny after he and Bob chat he went in to his house Bob went to his Pawny snugged in to bed went to sleep all of a sudden.He heard yelling and screaming outside he jumped out of bed ran to were all the noise coming from and then he released what had happened they had be invaded. He saw another pawn the he was Peru then they started to talk because of the huge roaring fire they couldn’t see each other faces so Pawny thought she was a black pawn and Peru thought Pawny was a white pawn.After the fire had gone down they saw each other.your a white said Pawny your a black said Peru.well this is goodbye said Peru and she started walked away.Wait yelled Pawny I have an idea if we steal the king and queens crowns we could stay together. But how said Peru and Pawny just and told her the plan. She had to admit it was a really brilliant plan the plan was that they were going to sneak in to the king and queen’s private chamber and steal there crown they both went to bed and woke up at 12 am sharp.
