In the process of searching for her, I left out those constant fights going on in my family and the deteriorating health of my sister, and I lost another one of my weaknesses. Well, what to say, losing all my weaknesses made me what I am today; the Lucifer of the mafia world. That is what people call me for I am so ruthless that I would even marry my dead enemy's sister for the power that comes with it. You see, marriage in the mafia world is so sacred and the spouse would not just share his/her wealth with their spouse but also the power, respect, and all the assets they have in the mafia world. I eliminated my to-be-wife's brother, yeah but I won't be able to get my hands on his resources just because he is non-existent, I would have to marry the next heir or have a blood bond with them to rule their empire.

The three ways one could rule a mafia empire are blood bond, which is the least valuable, marriage, which is a sacred ritual in our world, and lastly, blood relationship, which is the most valuable and fool-proof qualification for someone to take over an empire. Of these three, blood relationships would not help you take over another empire unless the predecessors are of the lineage of two different empires. Considering my parents who are so loyal to each other and our entire lineage of ancestors having long last hate towards the Grenadiers, there is no way they would have also been from that lineage so my next best option was marriage, to Hailey Javier Grenadiers, my 15 minutes-to-be wife.
