On the other hand, Jacques, Antoine's beta, was angry about the dismissal of his sweet Fanny. It turns out that the brunette is his mate, although he hadn't found the courage to tell her yet. Fanny knows the nature of her bosses because she also has lycanthrope blood, although she is not a shape-shifter.
"How could you fire her? Damn it, Antoine! She is my mate."

He storms out of the office, heading to the human resources department where they should have Fanny Grill's address. He goes down a few floors and reaches Blade's office, a millennia-old werewolf who is also the Delta of the pack.
"Blade, I need you to give me Fanny's address, please."
"I'm glad you've decided to go after her, she's a beautiful woman and you deserve to be happy."
Jacques expresses gratitude for his friend's words.
"I can't keep denying love, Therion is going crazy to go find her."
"Well, what can I say, my friend, go after that girl."
The beta wolf almost runs off to find his beloved Fanny, this being the first encounter he would have with the Moon of moons.
