The chillness the air contained hit my drowsy eyes making me realize I left the window open last night.  Was I drunk last night? The rain that poured outside the glass described my emotions of last night and it stroke my head a glimpse of it. 

Urhhh embarrassing!!!! 

Why did I overreact last night? Rubbing my eyes I arose from my bed and pulled my rubber-band from my wrist to tie my hair. I went to the bathroom to remove all the embarrassment of my face. I just don't want to think about last night. I have to leave him behind.

I got to my fridge and moved to pull the door. I felt colder air hit my face. I grabbed my waffles out of my fridge and grabbed the honey from the table, pouring all of my honey on the waffles. As the fact goes sugar could calm emotions at any second and I wanted to calm my embarrassment. The taste hit my tongue leaving the fridge. Tastyyy!!! I closed the fridge and just looked at the time. Hump I am late for work, It's not like I'd get scolded. A CEO wouldn't be. Yes, I created it, a skincare company called ópsi. It's not very popular but it is known in my place, Seoul.

I heard the doorbell ring like it's a schedule for my friend. Oh oh oh last night DID I ASK HER TO SET ME ON BLIND DATE DRUNK? No no no I should tell her to cancel it. I rushed to the door and pulled it open. She smiled and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Listen," I said.

"Good news, today you have a blind date in the evening," she interrupted screeching getting more exited than me. How can that be good news? Has she lost her mind, she knew I was drunk last night.

"WHattt nooo cancel it!!!"

"Nooo," she snorted. "It's at 8 pm, come back early from your work. His name is Zack, Ohh in Atrio restaurant".

She didn't even let me speak a word and headed out knowing I would shout. What an ***. About the blind date, it's best to tell him that it's by mistake. I don't want to date another cheater by a blind date. But I don't want to feel like a bad person there.

Tess is an author who doesn't even need to wake up early. She is very famous for just writing her imagination. We got to know each other because we had our rooms next to each other. We met 3 years ago. She is an extroverted person unlike me.

I stripped and grabbed a white shirt and a black mini skirt from my closet. I tucked the shirt with my mini skirt and wore a necklace. I ran out the door wearing my high heels and grabbing my sandy color coat with a bag. I ran to my black car, my only car.

My secretary, Alan, 10 years older than me and has a kid, came yelling "You are late". He was shocked when he joined new knowing I created this company. He really thought of me greatly and behaved very formally towards me but now we never talk formally. I’d describe him a very good friend than a secretary. His wife is also my friend. But I don't spend much time with them.

"Come on just one day and I will be leaving early today at 7.45 to meet someone"

Where is he? Shit, I forgot his name. How am I going to find him? I dialed Tess, tsk like she'd answer. I eyed every spot to find a man who looked like he was waiting for a blind date but..... Wait there is one. He appealed like a model in my eyes, so sexy, I gulped. I wish this unusual hotness is my blind date, I said I wish.

"Excuse me, blind date?" he looked surprised seeing me. Wait have I met him before. He nodded so that is a yes right. I pulled the chair confused if he was the one. "Sorry I forgot your name." He laughed after hearing this. Didn't see that coming.

"Zyraire."

"Huh?"

"My name is Zyraire Ava."

Oh, it's him right, yes I found him, a name with Z. "Sorry if I am late it's because of my work," I said.

Hold on, am I in a movie with a way hotter man than my ex is my date.

His eyes wide opened at my face and filled his head with thoughts of it and he kept staring at me that made me fidget with my nails. Oh is he expecting me to tell my name? "My name is Kelhani Isaiah."

"What is your age?"

"Am 19."

Zyraire Ava pov

"I am 22," I said.

Just then we were interrupted, "what would you like to have?" the server asked. "I would like the grilled sliced Wagyu skirt steak which is cooked medium well with a bottle of red wine" I replied. "I'll have the same," she said.

Fate brought us together.

Is it fate? I don't know why I lied to her that I am her blind date. Will she get angry if she got to know it isn't me? But how can a person forget the name of their blind date?. Is she that busy with her job? That is the drop-dead gorgeous look that made her become a model; I have seen her in Seoul's magazine once for some skincare company.

"I am CEO of ópsi, a skincare company," she said what. What CEO!!!?? How can a CEO be this young? No this, I can't believe. Did she create that company? This isn't true, right?... Her parents are not dumb enough to give her the company at 19. I tried not to widen my eyes or mouth. Or did her parents.....

"Yes I have seen you in one of Seoul's magazine. Did you create it?"

"Yes I made my company...your job?" wait what? Her face is serious so this is not a joke. She better not be lying. It is time that she gets surprised by my job.

"I am a doctor at Tabib."

"Oh the biggest and the most popular hospital in Korea right."

"I am the owner" she stared at me without blinking and turned her head slightly and gave a smile sliding her tongue to the other side. She was lost in her thought, again what was she thinking?

She giggled.

What why is she laughing?

"Your good at jokes Ava, I almost believed you." what she thinks this as a joke.

"It's not a joke"

I took out my phone and showed her my Instagram account.

"Oh I am sorry" her face could tell she felt more embarrassed than surprised. I smirked seeing she could get embarrassed so easily. She bit her teeth to a smile as I scrolled through my phone to search for her account. Yeah found it. "I followed you." She quickly grabbed her phone from the pocket that had been silent to check and followed back.

The server bought the food with the silence and left it all behind. As we began to eat we didn't have anything to talk about. We had only the noises of our cutleries. Thank god, she didn't ask me anything about how I got into this blind date.

*****SILENCE******

"It's okay I can pay" she interrupted. "Okay," I said making her smirk of surprise. "Next time on you" she got up from the chair and walked outside giving this sign she wants to know me more.
