The next morning Ren made up his mind to tell Aoi the truth but was stunned to see him waiting for him at the place they bumped looking blue.

"Aoi", Ren called out. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah! It's just that I've been looking for my friend since I got here but I haven't got the slightest update"

Ren felt a tingling sensation in his chest seeing how much Aoi cares for him even after all these years.

"Aiko, did i made a wrong decision coming here? Will he really remember me?" Aoi added interrupting Ren's thought. There he goes the shy and timid Aoi, babbling everything to a person he just met two days ago.

"Ofcourse! Who wouldn't remember such a caring friend".

Ren was selfish for not revealing his identity even though he sees his friend suffering because of him. He couldn't get over the feeling he felt on his chest when Aoi started babbling about him.

"I'm sorry Ren you don't even know me and here i am talking about a 10 years old broken friendship. I gotta go to class". Aoi left and Ren was still sitting there processing on the thought of how terrible it must've been for Aoi without him.

A few weeks passes by Ren and Aoi spent their times together and having fun. But it all came to an end when Asahi came to join Aoi's uni.

He went to Aoi's condo to surprise Aoi with a bouquet of flowers and kisses. They haven't seen each other for over a month. As Asahi went into Aoi's room ready to get a big hug from Aoi but to his surprise he saw Aoi and Ren together in the room.

Ren faked a smile and said, "Oh. Nice to meet you Asahi".

Ren being the possesive guy he is felt a tingling feeling in his chest like he did a few weeks ago but it wasn't as pleasant as it did then. This was more like a burning feeling.

"Aoi, i have to leave for practice".
