Disappointed

I am so mad at my dad so much, but I know I wouldn't be able to do anything while he's busy, so I lock up and shove my anger aside and started walking past him, replying, " I won't eat anything unless you won't cook me anything."

Walking out of his territory,I am halfway sitting on my motorcycle when my phone suddenly rang.

"Hey!! Where the heck are you??! I've been waiting here since forever. It's almost 3rd Period and you're not here yet!!", Pheria exclaimed in a rush once I answered her.

I huffed and replied, " It's complicated. Just,-please just wait alright??. I'm in a bad mood right now,but I'm coming. Also , I forgot the chocolates you asked for, I'll just buy you one over there."

I didn't wait for her to reply and abruptly ended the call and drove off towards school.

Parking off to the side when I arrived, I saw Pheria chatting with the gate guard while walking towards the gate. It's fortunate that the guard is already used to Pheria's antics and his knowledge of my dad's position, we'd be punished to high heavens for our slight violation of rules if it wasn't for that.

"Wow, you actually came!!!",she said in a flat voice, moving to meet me from the guard once she saw me. She looked impatient chatting with the guard before I came. "I'm supremely surprised that you came here what with your apparent dispute with your dad, so, spill the tea already, I'm craving something exciting from this boring life of mine."

I grumbled and started walking pass the gate and towards one of the school buildings, Pheria following a step ahead of me. "It's a long story, don't ask me anything yet."

A few hours later and breaktime started, spilling students from their rooms and congregating to each other.

"So....what happend~", Pheria said in a singsong voice, a few steps ahead me walking backwards as the usual.

"I told you not to aske me anything," I bit out stressfully at her, sighing." 'Sides I'm hungry, come on besh." I continued in a subdued voice, wavering like I'm gonna cry. She blinked pretty eyes at me and said nothing , turning back around to walk properly and nodding, falling step by step by my side. I relaxed and felt relieved.

Suddenly, a commotion started somewhere at the front of the hoard of students, exclaiming "who're they?"in scattered voices. Pheria and I exchanged confused looks and squished our way together almost to the front, staying behind some few students like stupid gossipers with nothing left better to do than gossip. Once I landed my eyes to the center of the commotion , I startled when I saw some recognizable faces of my dad's people, splitting up and looking like their looking for something, and glancing at Pheria beside me saw a widened eyes and slack jaw as she recognized some of them too. I startled again when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, fishing it out and reading the message that was obviously from my dad that asks where I am.So the reason why my dad's people were on my school was beacause he was looking for me, does he think that it's a bit overkill sending them out when he could just do what he just did and just texted me?

I turned to Pheria who was already staring at me, expecting my question and just nodding at me saying, "Go, before something else happens," I smiled at her in thanks and prepared to turn when she grabbed my hand and said in a teasing voice, lacking of the serious one before,"You better tell me the whole story later, yeah? You did say yet earlier, Oh! And remember my chocolates!!~" she waved at me before slipping pass students to book it while I giggled shortly at her. I turned and started heading down since I know attention will be cast on this stunt in the student body and that's why Pheria left because she dislike the attention. And I'm not an attentionseeker, so I resigned to my fate and continued heading downstairs. I just stepped on the second floor when I heard my dad's voice from a window and immediately went there and peered down and stared shocked at dad talking using a megaphone to say my name and that my birthday is getting closer and the big bonus is that he's gonna treat all the students on campus, with people looking interested and excited.

I hurried down much quickly sped across to the quadrangle where he waits and some of his people that aren't looking for me, while the rest are still scattered throughout campus. When I stopped in front I told dad that we were leaving and I quickly went in after I told him to call back his people still looking for me, because I can't bare to be in close radius with him, I might punch him for this stunt 'cause I know this is gonna spread through the whole school and everyone and their grandmother will know and gossip about it. Going to school tomorrow will be a pain , since nobody knows my connection to a Mafia Boss and a Police officer except my teachers, the gate guard, and my best friends Pheria and Matthew.
