B.T.S: A day at the beach~

Pearl: Wind Elemental Avatar.

Sapphire: Water Elemental Avatar.

Ruby: Fire Elemental Avatar.

Emerald: Earth Elemental Avatar.

Time: Takes place right before they reach the air base.

Sapphire: Woah. So pretty.

Sapphire was wearing a blue tubetop and a blue sarlong skirt, tied close on her left side. She also wore a golden ring on her left hand with a wave like pattern carved on it and a Ying and Yang made of half ruby and half sapphire. Her Sapphire eyes reflect the beautiful ocean beyond the beach and the clear afternoon sky along with it.

Ruby: Sure is.

Ruby wore a simple red beach bikini with a pink translucent veil like wavey part covering both her too and bottom. She ran alongside Sapphire on the coarse beach floor while laughing as two more people slowly walk close behind.

Pearl: I still see no purpose in this. We could be further utilizing this time preparing for battle.

She wore a simply whiteish-yellow pinafore with a long skirt, all as one peace. Above all, she wore a beach had with a blue ribbon. At the back of her hat, hung a small pearl chain connecting to a flute, also with a pearl in it.

Emerald: Don't look at me, look at them.

He simply wore a black and blue swim trowsers.

Ruby: Hey! Sapphire's idea.

Pearl: This is actual idocy.

She says before digging, to which Sapphire finally responds.

Sapphire: Well, for a battle, we need critical thinking skills, right?

Pearl simply miss, not changing her expression from the firm glare.

Sapphire: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure these types of activities help devolp that skill, right?

Pearl: Correct, but there are more efficient ways to further improve our mental state and more, including meditation.

Sapphire: But which one's more fun?

Pearl: I assume what you're trying to convey is that a beach day provides both.

Sapphire: Bingo!

Pearl sighs.

Pearl: I suppose you are correct.

The scene suddenly cuts to Ruby and Sapphire playing in the water.

Sapphire: Take this.

She uses her hands to splash a small wave of water on Ruby's face.

Ruby: Oh yeah? How about this?

Ruby, clearing her eyes, responds with an even bigger splash. As she smiles in pride, a giant wave the size of a tree, nearly washed her away.

Ruby: Hey, I though we couldn't use our powers.

She says right after barely swimming up alive, to which Sapphire simply giggles.

Pearl remains seated below the shade of an umbrella, just reading a book as Emerald approaches her.

Emerald: You're not gonna go swim?

Pearl: I refuse to indulge or partake in such childish act.

Emerald: Yeah. I though so.

Pearl: What about you? Do you not want to play with them?

Emerald: I already swam enough. Plus I'd rather handout with you.

Finally, Pearl looks away from to book to the horizon.

Pearl: (I am well aware of the fact that he enjoys holding conversations with me, but to this extent?)

Emerald: Oh yeah. Also, I don't wanna mess around with yuri.

Pearl: Yuri?

Emerald: Yuri. Like lesbians.

He looks at her confused expression before speaking up.

Emerald: Did you seriously not know what it meant?

Suddenly, Pearl's face turns tomato red, which she tries to give behind the book.

Pearl: O-Of course I knew. Such simple matters are similar to common knowledge to me.

Ruby: Wait.

Sapphire: What's wrong?

Emerald: You sense it too, don't you?

Pearl: Some bugs need to be crushed. I'll be right back.

Just as she's about to get up, Emerald stops her.

Emerald: Don't worry. I got this.

As he says that, the earth swollows him up.

Sapphire: He'll be fine.

Pearl: I think It'll be very if I too were to fight and assist Mr. Emerald.

Ruby and Sapphire watch Pearl levitating above the air, ready to go.

Ruby: Want me to come too?

Sapphire: Yeah!

Pearl: That isn't necessary. Mrs Ruby. Mrs Sapphire. You too can continue playing. You seem to be getting quiet the enjoyment from it.

As the words exit her mouth, she blasts off at mech one speeds through the sky.

Ruby: They sure do find excuses to hang out together.

Sapphire: Nom.

She says while biting Ruby's finger.

Ruby: Ow. Stop that.

She tries to get her off by shaking her hand, but Sapphire just starts gently chewing.

Sapphire: I'm hungry.

Emerald blasts out of the ground on top of a few dark troops, effortlessly clearing them out.

Dark captain: Oh no.

Dark knight: What's wrong?

With a singular kick, Emerald raises hundreds of square shapes rocks from the ground and launches them omnidirectionaly with the second one, knocking a huge wave of enemies around him.

Dark captain: That's Emerald. The earth elemental Avatar. A being impossible to defeat with numbers.

Emerald: Anyone else wanna die?

Dark goon: CHARGE!!!

A hoard of dark troops rush towards him, but fall down as he simply split open the ground beneath them with a swift motion.

Dark captain: If this keeps up, we'll stand no chance.

Dark knight: So then I'll single him out.

As more charge at him, a lava disk spinning like a soccer blasts out of the crack which soon after, closes.

It starts spinning around Emerald superfast, slicing all enemies in half.

Dark captain: That could work.

The knight blasts himself towards Emerald, punching him away. He tries the same attack, but Emerald, with his legs hurried in the ground, slides to the right, dodging the attack.

Emerald launches the lava disk at him, but he, using an energy dark blade, slices of in half. As he looks ahead to face Emerald, he sees nothing, until the ground starts warping.

Suddenly, a giant rock golem rises from the ground under Emerald's control, carrying him on its back.

It immediately launches a punch at the knight, who just blocks it using both his hands.

*Boom*

A bean of dark energy is released from his hands, destroying the golem into bits, causing Emerald to fall down.

As he lends, countless dark troops surround him from all angles, not letting him move or breathe, until,

Pearl: Air snipe.

A bullet made out of air hits the mass of dark soldiers, blasting all of them away and leaving Emerald in the middle.

Emerald: P-Pearl?

Dark captain: No way.

Random dark troop: It... It's her! It's the STORM SLAYER!!!

Pearl lands next to Emerald.

Dark captain: Everyone. RETREAT!!! RETREAT!!!

Pearl: Sonic slash.

She blasts about ten feet up in the air and with one swipe, launches countless air slashes at them, taking most of them out.

Emerald: There's no way you're THAT popular.

Pearl: Had I not been killing at least twelve of these pests every day for five years straight, I'm certain things would've been different.

Emerald: I guess we go now?

Pearl: Not until there are no more incects left.

Emerald smiles.

Emerald: Yeah. No survivors.

The scene cuts to Sapphire sleeping on Ruby's lap as she looked the sunset across the horizon.

Ruby: Oh. You guys are back.

Emerald: Yeah.

Ruby: I've been thinking, and... seeing the sunset, y'know what Sapphire would say?

Emerald: What?

Ruby: "Pearl look! That's us! The evening fun is Ruby, the cold ocean is me, and the pink sky is you!"

Emerald: Why was I left out?

Pearl: That is quiet correct. Tho still imature.

Emerald: The scene is so beautiful.

Pearl: I've seen countless other sunsets. This is no special than the other ones.

Emerald: Have you ever seen it with a friend?

Pearl: I doubt that matters.

"The sunset was beautiful. Still is."

The scene suddenly cuts to Emerald, slightly taller, standing on the same beach, the background the same before and after the shift.

He wore farmers clothes with a straw in his mouth and a straw hat, alone, looking at Pearl's whistle.

Emerald: Only if you were still here to see it with me.
