The Dream

He was running away from her, far away, but those claws still kept searching for him. The branches of the trees scratched his face, his feet were barefoot and bleeding from the thorns he stepped on. He turned to see the claws gone and turned to see what was ahead of him, Mary stood there smiling, hands wide open welcoming him into her embrace, he ran towards her like a child and just as he was about to hug her, he looked down to see her hand holding a knife embedded deep into his abdomen, he looked at her, her beautiful fair face with her lovely blonde hair splattered with his blood and an expression of horror lay on her face, seeing her so scared he was about to hug her again when the horrified expression of hers turned into a smile of satisfaction, as if she was waiting for this moment...

He fell to the ground and watched her as she poured oil around him in circles and from behind came 2 figures, who they were he couldn't see, but all he could see was one handing her a lighter and her as she dropped the burning lighter to the ground and he went into oblivion...

He woke up, Mr. Joseph Morfin woke up with a gasp, the one who had saved 3 girls from a dream gasping, he blindly searched for his pills making them fall down and sat up on his bed, took his pills and decided to avoid his girlfriend for the first half of the day to cease his fright...

'Damn what a sissy he thought to himself', as he got up from bed and went to take a shower...

'Why do I get these dreams... Seriously it's because you brain is miscalculating the future like this and telling you what might happen according to it... But... What has it got to do with Mary?? What the hell did it mean?? I mean why does it have to be her who killed me?? Ugh... guess I took a bit too many tranquilizers wish I could take a few of those 'sleep pills' and have a nice sleep...'

well his mother never really told him much... Any topics regarding his father were hushed in this house... What could you expect from a divorced couple?? His dad left a few years ago and then died within a few months due to a heart attack, it was pretty peculiar as he was a very cautious man his pills, excercise and diet were one of the most important things to him... his diary had alot of things about his life, the real stuff where they mention all the girls and the things you do though you should not... You know what it meant right??

Joseph had a hard time remembering his dad... And as he put on his shirt and grabbed his bag to leave for the lecture of the day, he decided to make a list of his to-dos and his to-avoids of the day, just as he opened the door his nightmare became truth...
