“ Enzo Jones? I like that name, where is your family from?” Emory questioned Enzo. “Japan and Italy, My father is Japanese and my mother is Italian.”

“Woah, what a mix,” Emory says in admiration.

”What about you, where are you from?” Enzo spoke.

“Well, I am a mix of Korean and Jamaican but I’ve never met my parents.” “Who raised you then?” Enzo eagerly asked.

“Well, I am adopted. Two men adopted my fathers; Harry and Adrian black. My dad Adrian is Korean and my father Harry, is Italian.”

“Wait your parents are HARRY AND ADRIAN BLACK??, they run a multimillion business”

“You know who my parents are?” Emory says in shock.

“Of course I do darling, they are one of the most famous people currently, I’ve admired them for years and so have my parents.”

Enzo and Emory bonded over Emory’s parents for the majority of the “date” until he changed the subject back to her. “Enough about your parents, what are your dreams and goals in life?”

“Well, since I was young I have always wanted to be a director. So that’s what I want to do. I recently got into “Jones Entertainment”. As she said that, Enzo shot up and said: “Wait, you’re now at Jones Entertainment that’s my business my family business the world is so small, I can’t believe it”. Emory looked shocked. She didn’t say anything, and when she did all she said was.

“ yeah, the world is small.” She looks disappointed she’s doubting her skills she thinks maybe he found out who she was beforehand and helped her get in.

“ hey, I know what you’re thinking no I didn’t know who you were beforehand. It’s really hard to get into Jones entertainment and I would never do a favour like that. If anyone doesn’t matter how much I like them we need strong and smart people in this industry, and I guess you were that person”

She doesn’t say anything, it’s like he'd read her mind that he knew she was going to doubt her ability. Who is he exactly and why does he believe in her so much?

“ I’ve got a question, be honest with me,” Emory stated. Enzo replies, “Yeah of course what’s the question darling?” “ did you know who I was beforehand before you saved me years ago?”

“ No darling, I didn’t I just heard screaming and I wanted to save you. It was the best thing to do, the right thing to do” Emory smirks, she is happy, and she is glad they made their way to each other again.

“ thank you for being honest with me, unfortunately, have to go through my dad’s have been blowing up my phone like crazy”

“ Um hey, I know we’ve just met up again but can I speak to your fathers real quick?” Enzo asked quietly.

“Uh? Sure, I guess you can is no reason why I won’t let you”

they finish off what they have eaten. They make their way back to her family home on the way. They just talk about anything and everything that life and what they did in school. What they aspire to be.

As they get towards the house, her father Adrian is waiting for her. “ Hey baby, you’re back… oh? Who is this?” Adrian said slyly. “ hey, Mr. Black, I’m your daughter’s friend I was the one who she was meeting up with today. We went to get some coffee and to eat”

“ Would you like to come inside, boy?” “ Yes please, sir I have something to discuss with you and your husband.” Enzo walks inside.

Adrian turns to his daughter and says: “ how does he already know you’ve got two gay parents? You never tell people on the first meeting.”

“ I don’t know, I just felt comfortable when telling him I ended up telling him a lot anyway I have to study, I will talk to you later bye love you”

Emory hurries up to her room she doesn’t know what to think about Enzo meeting her family, the two most important people in her life, her two fathers

Back to Enzo, and Emory’s parents, they are sitting in the living room silently no one speaking they are just observing. Harry speaks first. “ so boy who do I owe this pleasure to?” “ Hi my name is Enzo, Jones, and I am the person who helped your daughter in that disgusting incident years ago.”

Adrian and Harry just stared at him Adrian stood up got on his knees and bowed to him almost in tears saying thank you.

“ oh my God, that was you you are the person who saved my daughter she could’ve died that day if you didn’t help her, I owe you my life, you saved my princess” How we went down with him and thanked him.

“ I appreciate everything you have done not many people would have had the balls to help, but you did, and I want to thank you for it. We were so worried about her and when she told us Adrian, especially didn’t know how to take it but seeing you were a person to help her makes us happy.”

“ thank you for that but honestly there’s no need to thank me. I just did what anyone else should have done and your daughter is quite interesting. She’s so happy but she thinks down on herself. She thinks she is worth nothing and I hate that I want to be the one to teach her otherwise if you would let me”

Adrian, and have a look at one another, they gave each other a look. Enzo just watches them, and he cannot figure out what they are signalling to one another then suddenly they turn around and say to Enzo “You have our blessing son”.

Enzo smiles and just says, “Thank you I won’t let you down”. how many replies and confidently says ” I know you won’t anyways I know you want to go and say goodbye to her she’s upstairs in the room on the left. You have 10 minutes ”

Enzo gets up and leave the room walking upstairs he thinks to himsel, “ that went better than I thought. I’m glad I got their blessing now that’s all I needed to pursue her”
