The Cruelty of Life

Ever since my brother Marco died ,I never really came to grips with with the true but cruel nature of life Every day I'd wake up trying to force the lie an myself that I'd have a good time ,but sadly knowing the opposite

After he died ,nothing was the same.Who would I trust ,Who would have my back in facing off bullies in protecting the innocent?I felt alone and depressed with only two persons I can rarely rely on.

BUT THEN SHE CAME

5 days before we met I was already in a complicated relationship with my girlfriend Lucy. She was one of the only persons I thought I could trust other than my best friend Nathan ,or so I thought.

Everything seemed to be crashing down on June 15th at around 7pm,when I finally decided to go visit her and bring soup for her to get better and hoping it would cheer her up . But as I approached her front yard,I noticed a male figure, around my height locking arms with her and leaning towards her for a supposed kiss.So I, naively thinking that her parents were in the room , enticed myself to get a closer look,realised that it was Nathan. "The bastard !"I screamed to myself . I immediately rushed toward the door with a burst of anger, but after realizing that they would just somehow try to deny it ,I took a photo of them with my phone and then I called her.

"Hello",she said.

" Hey there Luce,I decided I'm coming over with soup and flowers for that nasty flu you have." I said.

"What!?Oh you didn't need to." she said nervously .

"Why not you are sick aren't you?" I said.

"Because I'm fine you don't need to because I'm fine." She said.

" Ok so you'll be able to come to school tomorrow? " I enquired.

"Yes,but." She said before I interrupted.

"Cool because I want to talk to you and Nathan about something."
