You aren't a failure and choosing something safe isn't wrong. It's basic science it's mind's way to keep safe. Mind rejects everything that can come with a danger sign. And not everyone born for blood and war. Everyone has a role to play in this universe and they should try to do good instead of creating a load of bad karma for themselves. Which they have to pay sooner or later. And small jobs aren't small. Cause someone has to do it. If a person isn't there to clean the road. The road will be dirty and dangerous for health and traffic and people won't be able to reach to do there big jobs which hrlps to run the country unaffected. So it's a chain that's why no work is small. Every work counts. And you did great as a caretaker too. A man who wanted to die now trying to run on his feet. Don't ever see yourself from the eye of a person who has achieved nothing in his own life.

You don't have to prove anything to a man like him. Our family gives us love and support and courage to fight the world and for that we should do same by giving back thousands folds. But if they are anything like your father they don't get to say anything and you just have to prove it to yourself. Not to a person who sees you as a burden. You are good enough to kept your life going without them. And you are a good person. You should make your own world no matter how small it is. Just you have to be happy with what you have and your conscious should be clear about it.
