Stella was taking her bath when Stanley tiptoed in. He held her from the back, and the rest was history.
Stanley dressed up and was about to come out of the room when he jammed Carlos.
"Hey, you're back," he said, laughing.
"What happened?" Carlos asked.
"What do you mean? Nothing happened, Carlos," he responded.
"But I just saw you coming out of my room..."
"Sure! I only went there to ask Stella some questions about Evelyn," he said."Are you sure, Stanley?" asked Carlos.
"Believe me, bro, I've missed you so much I can't wait to have you tonight," said Stanley, kissing him.
Carlos didn't say a word; he dropped his bag and entered the room. Stella welcomed him.
"What was Stanley doing here?" he asked, adjusting Stella's shirt.
"Oh! He came to ask some questions concerning Evelyn," she replied.
"Isn't she back yet?"
"No, I even called her this morning; she sounded like someone who's not bothered about her wedding," Stella said.
"Are you being serious?" Carlos widened his brow.
"She once told me she will call off the wedding...
"That evening, Carlos went out with Stanley to see Evelyn. The wedding was in two days, but Evelyn was nowhere to be found.
"Good evening, ma..." greeted Stanley and Carlos.
"My sons, you're welcome ooo..." replied Evelyn's mum, who was reading a book.
"Thank you, ma. Mommy, is Ella inside?" Stanley asked.
"Eveyln?" asked the perplexed woman.
"Yes, she left the house three days ago, and..."
"I haven't set my eyes on Emmanuella since she left this house with you," she interrupted..
"Where could she be?" Csnmoipasked.
"Her numbers are switched off!!!" shouted Stanley.
"Wait, are you children telling me that my only child is missing?" Mrs. Meg asked the two confused men.
"Why is Evelyn behaving this way?" Chike murmured.Mrs.
Meg threw the newspaper away and held Stanley by the collar of his shirt.
"Where is my daughter?" she bellowed.
"Please stop embarrassing me, Mrs. Meg," Stanley told her.
"You're embarrassing us, ma," Carlos spoke, and a slap landed on his ear.
"Where is my daughter, Stanley?" Mrs. Meg shouted, hitting him so hard.
Stanley started bleeding from the nose; he freed himself from her grip and ran away with Carlos, leaving the car they came with behind.
"Claire, I need to show you something," Evelyn told her old-time classmate, who she had been staying with for days.
"I'm all ears..." replied Claire.
"Stanley is gay!" she spoke.
"Jesus! How did you find out?"
Eveyln brought out a camera, which she had been hiding; she played the video of Carlos and Stanley doing justice to themselves.
"Is this not Carlos?," Claire asked.
"I am so disappointed; I've asked them several times to tell me the truth, but they kept on lying. I had to get a camera, Claire."
"So you ain't getting married to him anymore?"
"I will never, over my dead body..." Eveyln responded.
"I've always loved Stanley; I think this is a good time to get him to myself..." Claire thought.
"I think you should call off the wedding..."
"The wedding has been called off already. The wedding is tomorrow, and none of them knows my whereabouts...
I can't wait to deal with those two monsters..." said Evelyn.
"Don't do anything yet, just calm down..." Claire advised.
"The wedding has been called off, Mum..." Stanley told his mum.
"What really came over Evelyn?" Stanley's dad asked.
"I can't tell; her mum nearly beat the living hell out of me a day before yesterday."
"I think we should report to the police about Evelyn's disappearance..." his mum suggested.
"Carlos and I..."
"Done that already?" his dad interrupted.
"I'll personally deal with that girl..." Stanley's mum said.
