Departure

Everyone is still the same gender in this story however for small plot reasons Shinobu will be genderbend. Btw have you guys seen male Shinobu? 😩 just yessss, anyways this is just the first chapter so it's kinda short and sorry if it's lame 😖 but anyways happy reading, will update chapter 2 when I can.

"What you did was very much against Corps rules Tomioka chan I'm quite surprised Oyakata sama allowed them to stay alive much less stay with us. Nevertheless this kind of thing is exactly the kind of reason why no one likes you." A raven haired male with purple tips spokes calmly to the female as he gave her a closed eyes smile.

Kocho Shinobu the Insect Hashira.

Watching as the Kamado siblings walked off to the butterfly estate the Water Hashira soon bore her gaze up towards the sky.

"I.......I don't think I'm disliked. I would think I am liked.." (Y/N) spoke rather plainly as she nods confirming her own words before turning around to take her leave.

"But that meeting we had with the Kamado siblings was along while back..." She mumbles. "They've showed their loyalty to the corps..."

At her words the Insect Hashira simply giggled as he watched her walked away. "If that helps you sleep at night Tomioka chan please do continue to tell yourself that!"\~

Truly he did love teasing the raven haired female. Seeing her crestfallen face was rather pleasing to the male's eyes.

With that said the Insect Hashira took his leave to treat his patients meanwhile the Water would set off on a near by Village as requested by Oyakata sama due to demon sightings.

🌊 Time 18:45pm remaining 3 hours 🌊

"All I have to do is kill you and finally I'll get the recognition I deserve! He'll see I'm finally worthy of becoming one of the 12 Kizuki and even more so I'll perhaps earn some of his blood for this!" The demon taunted as he grinned widely throwing attack after attack towards the raven haired female.

"Is that so?" The female spoke calmly, her dark blue eyes glaring at the figure in front of her as she managed to easily dodge each attack.

"The 12 Kizuki are some of the strongest demons around and yet here..this is child's play." (Y/N) spoke as she jump back dodging another set of attacks from the demon.

Her words seemed to have hit a nerve as he grit his teeth in anger. "You weak pathetic little girl! I'll kill you and show Master what I'm truly capable of!" He growled readying a blood art to attack the female.

"Hm.."

"Water Breathing, Third Form: Flowing Dance." As soon as those words left her lips it was only a matter of time before the demon was behead.

"H-how...I was so sure of myself. Master...I wanted to be one of the 12 Kizuki. To show myself..but" He teared up as the female simply stared down at his decapitated head now sheathing back her blade.

"You we're weak....Reckless, definitely weren't capable at all." She spoke in an almost cold tone before watching as the head and body fully disintegrated in nothing.

"We're done here..." The female spoke as she stares up into the night sky, soon her crow perching himself onto her shoulder. "The mission was successful, please tell Oyakata sama everything went well and I shall arrive soon enough with a report to give."

That being said the crow gave the female what seemed to be a nod before flying off to deliver the message given to him. (Y/N), herself now walked back to the corps taking in the quite calm night atmosphere.

"The moon truly is beautiful it seems..." She murmured to herself as she made her way to her destination.

🌊 Time: 21:15pm, remaining 1 hour 🌊

It didn't take too long before the female soon arrived back to the Slayer Corps. Meeting with Oyakata sama she bowed before him as she soon gave her full report. Once done she headed to her estate biding a goodnight the the elder male.

(Y/N) thought back on the events the happened as of today and everything before hand as she sat by her bed. The trial of the Kamado siblings, potential death if wasn't for Oyakata sama not step in, Shinobu teasing which wasn't relatively new, and slaying a demon. Almost the norm now for the Water Hashira.

Releasing a sigh the female finally laid down to get some well deserved rest. Perhaps tomorrow would be better? Who knows..

Dream World

Dark blue eyes opened staring into a dark room. The room itself wasn't recognizable but what stood out the most was a mirror that floated in the center of the room. "What a strange dream..." (Y/N) walked up to the mirror only to see green flames instead of her own reflection, this made her blue orbs widen a bit.

"Ah..my dear beloved,"

"A lovely and noble flower of evil."

The Hashira furrowed her eyebrow hearing the sudden words spoken to her. Who exactly was speaking to her and what were they talking about exactly?

"Truly you are the most beautiful of them all."

The Water Hashira hesitantly approach the strange mirror a bit closer. She didn't understand anything of what was happening in her dream, but what she did know is she knew a mirror was potentially flirting with her. If anyone else found out about this they would definitely call her crazy.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall,"

"Who is the...."

The sound of crows and horse trotting near by could be heard. This caused the female to tense up a bit but nevertheless she kept her guard up just in case something were to happen.

"Those who are guided by the dark mirror"

"As long as your heart desires, take the hand that appears in the mirror."Why did she do it? She didn't quite understand. But what (Y/N) did know is that she felt a sense of trust, as if she needed to take the hand of whoever was on the other side.

It was the same missing feeling she felt when she was with her sister, an almost warm caring feeling? She wasn't so sure yet. Sure she hasn't known them for long but it was just the sense of feeling.

But before she knew it everything went dark once again. The hand whom she grasp no longer there. Perhaps now she'll awake from here dream and come to reality soon enough.
