Chapter 2

I rushed to the school field. It was a large field and no one's there. That was a nice place. Nice place to relax and let out your feelings. I sat down under a tree and stared at an empty view. All I can see were trees and a blank sky, nothing special. I sat there for a while and reflected myself. I started to wonder who I really was. Who is Kenth? Is he a part of my life?

I woke up from a vibration from my pocket. It was Lala. She's been calling me this whole time. I didn't noticed that I fell asleep. I stood up and answered her call.

"Hello?"

"Thank God you finally answered! Where were you? I'm worried sick!" she shouted from the other line.

"Sorry Lala, I'm here at the field. I accidentally fell asleep," I answered.

"Haaaahhh," she breathed in relief.

"Sorry,"

"Tsk, never mind. Come here at the parking lot. Class was cancelled,"

"Yes ma'am,"

At the very moment I arrived at the parking lot, Lala gave me a smack.

"Fool! Don't ever let me worry about you next time. I looked around the campus and you were never to be found. At least inform me that you'll sleep in such a weird place. What will happen if you were hurt? Huh?" She scolded me.

"I'm sorry," I said with matching puppy eyes and cute tone.

"Stop it... That won't work," she said as she rolled her eyes.

"Please forgive me," I said with an even cuter voice and eyes.

"Okay okay. I forgive you. But please don't let us worry about you. Kenth was going crazy. You can't imagine he's reaction when you're missing," she said.

My facial expression changed from cute to serious when I heard his name.

"Lala. About Ken----"

"Shhhh. Stop. I know you haven't eaten properly since morning, so let's go to my condo and I will cook you your favorite dishes," she said.

We entered the car and rushed to her condo.

"I miss this place," I said as soon I entered the room.

"Oh, you haven't come to my apartment for a long time, huh?" Lala said as she prepared the ingredients for the dish she'll cook.

"I guess I was busy this days," I replied.

"What are you busy 'bout?" she asked.

"Uhmmmm.... I'm... Wait, what am I busy 'bout? I don't remember a thing," I asked myself.

"You know what... I'm worried about you Athena. Have you lost your memories? But you still remember me, so it's not amnesia? Oh God I'm so confused about you," Lala said and stopped cooking and she sat beside me on a sofa.

"I'm also confused. Do you think that I have a mental problem? Am I crazy?"

"Shhhh. Even if you're nuts, I'll be here for you. But I think your condition isn't that serious. Only a part of your memories vanished. I can help you retrieve them. I'm here, so don't worry," Lala said while hugging me.

"Thank you very much Lala," I said.

"You're welcom---OH GOD THE FOOD IS BURNING!!!!" she rushed to the kitchen and turn off the stove.

Will I be fine?

It's been two months since that incident..... Lala told Kenth about my situation and asked him to leave me alone for a while.

"Athena. It's been two months. How are you? Any progress?" Lala said as she entered the room.

"Lala! Good morning," I greeted.

"So..... How are you... and Kenth?" she asked.

"Lala...... I.... Still don't know hi! I can't remember a thing!" I shouted in frustration.

"But you need to remember Athena," she said.

"I think I can't, Lala. Why can't I just let it be? Go with the flow. Act as if I don't really know him. Easy Peasy," I said with a hint of laughter.

"But Athena, I think 2 months is long enough to remember your memories. You can't let Kenth suffer while you're laughing here trying to forget about those memories! Those memories are special to Kenth! Are you saying that you don't care 'bout the man? Or are you pretending to not care and literally forgot him on purpose!?" she shouted. I can't believe that Lala raised her voice on me just because of a man.

"I'm sorry... I haven't tried my best.... I should try harder. I shouldn't have said those mean words. I can't break a man's heart just like that. I should remember those memories....." I said minimizing my voice. That's all I can say. I was still shocked that Lala raised her voice on me. Specially she's know to be sweet but she's a playgirl.

"Good" she smiled and patted my head.

"Good morning class. Please take your seat and pay attention," the prof said as he entered the room.

"That's all. Don't forget to pass your project on time," said the prof and exited the room.

"What shall I do? I can't do it alone. Whom can I ask?"I said in frustration.

"Good thing I can ask Mark," Lala bragged.

"What shall I do?" I asked.

"Duh. You have Kenth, sweetie. You should ask him for help," Lala suggested.

"I don't think I can," I replied.

"You should, for your grades. You don't want to fail, do you?"

"Yes,"

"Then ask him," she said.

"I'll try,"

"But first, you should make it up to him first. Try to remember your memories by spending time with him, this time. Don't avoid him. Maybe it will help," she suggested.

"How?" I asked.

"Ask him on a date...... A friendly date," she said.

"But.... isn't that a bit weird? I literally avoided him for two months. Then I'll randomly ask him for a date?" I said confusedly.

'Shhhhh. i'm sure he'll understand. Just explain to him. Lovers understand each other, right?'

"But can you still call us lovers after all this happenings?" I asked.

"No more buts. Get your butt up and ask him," she said while dragging me out fro my seat.

"Fine fine. I'll try," I said and rolled my eyes.

"Stupid project ," I whispered to myself.

Lala asked Kenth to meet with me in the rooftop.

"Hey," I said when I met him.

"Hi ba---- Athena," he said and smiled. I can't believe that he can smile at me after what I've done.

"I'm sorry for avoiding you... But it's true. I've lost my memories... about you...." I said minimizing my voice. After that he dragged me near to him and hugged me.

"It's okay, I understand. I'll help you remember. I'm here for you. I'm not mad," He said while patting my head. I can't help but  to cry.

'Thank you very much," I said while crying then we parted from hugging.

"I believe that you need something from me," he asked while smirking.

'Hmmm... Can you be my model?"
