My parents had died a few years ago. Only they could understand I have strange vision.

When I started to see butterflies, I saw two blue butterflies flying around my parents. When I told them about it, my mum said,

"Laura, blue means fresh and happy. So, your father and I have happy soul if you see blue butterflies."

But blue doesn't mean like she said. I know she was lying. When they were dead, those two blue butterflies also disappeared too.

On some people, I see red butterflies. On some, I see purple, yellow, pink and so on. I just started to see black ones from my first day of new school.

Around my grandmother's body, I see very white one.

But to me, I see nothing that is likely to be butterfly. I don't even know if I have a soul or not.

I'm Laura. My parents gave it in order of 'bay laurel plant' which is used as a symbol of victory, honor and fame. Haha!!! But my life came up opposite to me.

I'm now 17. Counting from the age of 7, it've been 10 years that I've been seeing butterflies around people. . But I still couldn't understand what they exactly mean to human.
