It started with a date

Nina: Sara, are you ready? We are getting late.

Sara: I am really not interested in some blind date.

Nina: Shut up and get ready, you really need someone apart from your books and dramas

Sara: Okay, but don't blame me if I don't like someone

Nina: Ya, ya we will see. To be true, the guys we are meeting are quite good looking.

Sara: Ok. Lets go. I wanna complete this thing and then get back to the drama I am watching.

Nina: Get out of your drama world girl. Lets go.

Sara closes the door behind her and they both hop into Nina's car. As soon as they reach Peter Street, they get out of their car and start walking towards the cafe which is at the end of the street.

Nina: There's a lot of rush today. Don't get lost.

Nina and Sara entered the cafe. Looking for the ones they had come to meet. Nina spotted them at the table near the window. Best place with the best view.

What a catch!! Nina exclaimed looking at Sara with excitement.

Nina: Let's go.

She grabbed Sara's hands and pulled her towards the table. The boys saw them and waved to which Nina waved back and Sara just smiled. Both of them were quite good looking.

Nina: I already like the one with dark hair. She whispered.

Sara and Nina sat opposite to the two guys. A moment of silence was trying to prevail between those four but then one of the guys spoke up.

'Hey I am Jacob and this is my friend Jace.'

Nina: Hi, I am Nina and she is my friend Sara. Nice to meet you two.

Sara smiled looking at both of them. Jacob kept looking at Sara as though he had already started liking her. Yes, ofcourse Sara was quite a beauty. But Jace didn't paid any heed to either of the girls. Nina seemed interested in Jace. The mysterious aura around Jace made him more attractive. Nina kept trying to bring up a good conversation between herself and Jace. On the other hand Sara and Jacob had already started talking about their hobbies and interests. Sara seemed to have started getting along with Jacob, plus he was quite gentle and had a cheerful aura around him which made Sara comfortable.

Nina: You don't seem to like this date. Is there any issue?

Nina felt Jace's disinterest.

Jace didn't reply. About 10 minutes later Nina asked Jace directly.

Nina: Did you not like me by any chance? I mean do you don't even want to become friends with me?

Jace: Now it is getting irritating. You are too irritating. I am not interested in you. Stop trying so hard to please me. I am out of your league.

Sara who was seeing this kind of situation for a while saw her friend upset about the reply which Jace had given.

Sara (agitated) : If you knew that it is going to be irritating then why did you even came for this date in the first place? You can't insult someone like that.

Jacob : He is sorry about it Nina. I had pressurized him to accompany me here. Please calm down Sara.

Sara looked at Jacob and then took Nina's hand and made her stand up.

Sara: I can't let my friend get insulted here anymore that too for someone who is so conceited. Jacob it was nice meeting you but my friend comes first for me. Have a good day.

Sara brings Nina out of the cafe and they decide to forget about this date and go for shopping.
