The Months After... That Day

Dear Han Jiang,

Did you notice how i didn’t call you Jiang Jiang. That’s to show how much you hurt me to show im not familiar with you anymore. Hmph. So back to what I was gonna say. Ever since that day, I haven’t went to school. I think for 1 week or two I stopped counting after a while. But I guess today’s the day because my mom is forcing me. So I really hope you don’t come so I don’t have to see your nasty, ugly, and really handsome face. Forgot about that last word I just said. So, today Im gonna look really pretty for myself not for you at all. It’s definitely not to show what your missing out on.

So I finally reached and sadly we’re in the same class.

Im just nervous because I haven’t seen everyone for a while. I’m not nervous because of you.

“Oh my gosh your back Tian. I’m so glad you decided to come back. I missed you. How have you been”.

This is my girl best friend since first grade. Jian,Nian and I all been best friends since first grade. We all meant at the same time and been together since then. But now i guess me and Jian aren’t that much of best friends no more.

“I’m so happy to see you Nian Nian. And I’ve been better since then. And I missed you also. Did he come to school”.

“No. Not since what happened.

“Oh. Ok. The teachers here lets go sot down”.

“But Tian I need to tell you something else”.

“It’s ok tell me after during lunch”.

Then a kid comes in and had the audacity to sit right next to me which was your sit.

“Hey! What are you doing! That’s Jian’s sit. Move!”

“Does it look like I listen to you”.

Before I could reply back Nian Nian came over and said something that really stab me right in the heart.

“ I was gonna tell you that Jian hadn’t come back because he moved. I overheard the teacher say it to another teacher. This is our new student Zhao Shen”.

I didn’t care about his name all I cared about was that your never coming back. And that this She or Shen guy is trying to replace you. And for a second time the tears that I could never hold back started to pour again. And I don’t remember when but I ran out the classroom and I was already outside. I didn’t know where I was going. But i sensed I was going home, to the one person that made me feel at home. Then I reached your house and I felt a sense if pain when I saw that sold sign. I started at that sign for a long time and then decided to go to my house. Because your home was now just another house on tbe block a very empty place.

I was home before I new it. Mostly because I lived next door. Then ran street to my bed. And after a while feel asleep trying to pretend the last couple of months was the worst nightmare i ever had.
