Prologue

My mom remarried after I turned, eighteen. I was happy for her seeing how happy she was after meeting Devon, her new husband and my new father.

"Congratulations mom. I wish for your happiness" I greeted her, she was wearing a beautiful long luxurious white gown. "Thank you Xein, I love you son. Thank you for accepting mommy's decision."

"Of course mom, I always want what's the best for you and I saw how he really loved you" I smiled at her. My mom is really beautiful and can get any man she wants but she didn't just choose anyone. After my real dad died due to a car accident, my mom was lonely and sad, she cried every night.

But after meeting Devon, she suddenly got her charm back. She started fixing her self, making her self beautiful. She started to bloom again. "Just, always take care mom" She gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheeks.

"My love" Devon called her. My mom turned and clung to him and started greeting the guest. "So, looks like we're brothers now" a very charming voice was heard from behind me.

"Yeah, I hope that's okay with you" He's Azrahel, Devon's son. He's two years older than me and very handsome too like his father. "It's fine, thankfully I'm not an only child now"

"Isn't that like a privilege, you can have anything"

He chuckled "who said that? Being an only child sucks. Thank god I have a sibling now" what he said made me laugh. We talked to each other for a long time, getting to know each other and laughing at some crazy stuff.

"So what's your plan?" we're currently talking about the future. "Well, it seems I only have one path, and that's inheriting my dad's company"

"Oh pretty hard, but you'll get through"

"How about you?"

"I'm studying photography right now. I want to open my own gallery" he nods at me "that's nice"

We continue to talk to each other until we have to go home, and our parents need to go to their 'honeymoon'

"Want to ride with me? I brought my car"

"Sure"

We went to their house. He brought out some few alcoholic drink "You drink?" I nod at him and open a can. We continue to talk about things and watch some movies, we didn't realize how drunk we are. The only thing I can feel now is his lips on mine and it's moving so passionately. My mind was so blank and so dizzy that I didn't know what happened next.

I woke up lying on the sofa, and he was lying on the floor on his stomach. My head hurt so much. I went to the kitchen to look for some medicine

I saw him stand up and went to the kitchen counter "Where's your medicine?" he pointed at one of the shelf, I opened it and saw the medicines. I gave him one and took one for myself.

"How the heck did I get drunk that much?" He asked, looks like this is his first time getting drunk. I started remembering some things, but it was all blurred?

"What happened here?" we both looked at who talked and saw our parents looking at our mess. "Why are you guys back?"

"We're getting some stuff before we leave for the Maldives. Did you guys drink all night?" my mom ask.

"Sorry mom" I said.

"Oh honey, it's okay, are you okay though? Are you both okay" both of us nod at her.

"Well then, we'll be taking our stuff and you guys clean up" she kissed my cheeks again and took thier stuff before leaving.
