The Proposal

It was 13th of February.... The streets in the Paris was decorated with numerous glitters and hearts all over. Red roses and valentine chocolates and cakes were kept on shops. Gifts, love cards, diamond and ruby rings and discounts in all restaurants made me feel like, "Yes, the day is gonna come".

I'm Ron, famous comic publisher in Paris city. I have a girlfriend Jane. We loved for nearly two years. We enjoyed every Valentine's day together happily. This time I was very busy to think of that. I know she will remember. But this time I have to be very much careful about it. I planned to propose her. We spend all our holidays together. Happy or sad we always cherish it, the beautiful memory carved by us.

She is the daughter of Lu's family, one of the richest family in Paris city. But she is simple and charming. I love her whatever the way she is. I want her to be with me for my entire life, so this is a small step towards my goal. I booked an exclusive restaurant for almost five hundred thousand dollars per night. This time no matter what, we will be together spending only the happiest times in our life...

We planned to meet today at 9 pm at hotel Louvre. I spent lots of money for this night... fountains, night butterfly garden, a luxurious bed, fireworks, moonlight place. I know she won't like these as she wants everything to be simple, but I... will give her my perfect love this time.

Jane, " Ron, where are you? I'm waiting here at Louvre hotel.". I told her to come to the garden area on the 14th floor, yes that's because tomorrow is Valentines day, 14th February. She came as i can hear her footsteps. I opened the door for her. She was wearing a grand party dress. After i opened the door, she hugged me tight and said, "happy valentines day, dear". I thought I would be the first one to say this. I gave her the red rose bouquet, symbol of love and then we came and sat on the dining table. We ate our dinner talking about our past experiences and our favorite music was playing. She was so happy, i could see that in her eyes.

Then I got up and i kneel down to her and took the heart shaped diamond ring and proposed her, "Jane will you marry me and be with me forever?". All the fireworks and balloons were flying up in the sky. I waited for two years for this day to come...
