HARD TO GO BACK

It was almost the afternoon when I reached my house. I passed by a beautiful garden that my sister Alice and I planted. We together grew the flowers in our garden. Rose , adenium, lavender, orchids, Bougainville, peace lily, geranium, violet and many more. We both love gardening.my sister favorite flower was rose . And my lavender. Whenever I come into the garden i remember my time with my sister. In my garden there was sand which had our footprint. I walk towards the print and touch it....

(flashback......

Alice is busy adding organic matter in the soil. To make soil well drained, plant cornflower. Alice calls Lucia to bring more water.

Alice - Lucy pucy gives me some water.

Lucia ran towards her sister with a tub of water and gave it to her.

Lucia- sis I tell you don't call me that...

( in an annoying way)

Alice pinches Lucia cheeks with her hands full of mud and laughs

Alice - you, are my Lucy pucy ...

Lucia- I said no pls no.

Alice -Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy

Lucia-Mamma ! Alice is making fun of me.

Lucia's mom Kristen came to them with a glass of chocolate milkshake.

Kristen - Alice this is not a good thing. Stop teasing lucy.

(Lucia agreeing with mom)

Kristen - you should not tell her Lucy pucy.if you say Lucy pucy she will not like . Lucy pucy is not her name. Her name is Lucia not Lucy pucy. Understood Lucia not Lucy pucy....

Alice started laughing loudly...

Alice - okay okay no more Lucy pucy

Lucia-mom you too. I hate you both.

Lucia got upset and ran towards the swing in the garden. Kristen and Alice saw that Lucia got angry and smiled at each other and went to Lucia.

Alice - i am sorry

Kristen - i am too sorry. If you forgive us, I have a present for you.

Lucia excitedly asked

Lucia -- what is it ?

Melissa -- want to know

Lucia-- yes yes ( with eagerness )

Kristen -- okay i will tell you first accept our sorry.

Lucia-- (cannot take this anymore) okay okay i am accepting you're sorry.

Kristen -- Means you have forgiven us (with questioning expression)

Lucia-- yes mom i am forgiving u both now tell me please what is it?

Kristen -- okay if you forgive us then the present for you ....

Suddenly bring out the glass of milkshake and shake in front of her. It's your present. Lucia gets angry.

Lucia-- i don't want it . Give me a gift ,gift , gift , gift, gift, gift, I want gift.

Lucia started to make fuss and scream

Alice noticed mom's helpless face. Alice went back inside the house and came back with a wet mud . She placed a mud and placed it on the sand. Little Lucia saw her sister doing something in the sand .she ran towards her and asked

Lucia-- Alice what are you doing?

Alice -- Making mudflat .

Lucia-- ( with curiosity ) why are you making this flat?

Alice -- wait

After a few minutes Alice places her legs on the flat mud and asks Lucia to stand by her side. Lucia obediently stands beside her sister and asks.

Lucia-- what is this about ( in a confusing tone)

Kristen saw both of them and understood Alice's action . Alice helps little Lucia to get out of the mud . Lucia saw a footprint of both . And ask more impatiently

Lucia-- sister why we created our footprint.

Seeing Lucia behaviour Alice reply with a smile..

Alice -- I created a footprint so that Lucia and Alice never get separated. No matter how bad the situation is Lucia and Alice stay strong and together solve every problem.

Lucia--( with a cute innocent face ) every problem? you mean my maths problem

Alice -- yess your maths problem ( chuckled ).

Lucia it is your present.

Lucia-- my present ( laughing with happiness )

Alice -- Lucia it's our memories kept it safe okay

Lucia-- okay sis i will protect it .

Alice -- if you can't take care of this then i will call you Lucy pucy.

Lucia-- sister no please

Alice -- okay Lucy pucy , my Lucy pucy , baby Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy....

Lucia- no mom sees sis is again teasing me.

Alice - Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy, Lucy pucy

Lucia started to run behind her sister . Kristen silently saw the whole scenery and smiled.
