CHAPTER 1: WHO IS HE?

It was 6:30 in the morning and Erinnia was still fast asleep in her bed. Erinnia woke up due to her mobile phone ringing. She reached under his pillow to pick up the phone and she picked up the call in a semi-conscious state.

"Hello? Who is this?" Erinnia said lazily.

"Uh, can you ask me who I am? You just woke up Nia? You forgot that today's first subject is math and you've made sure you've finished the homework he gave you yesterday? You also know if you're late he can punish you ? You're not happy anymore Nia?" Viona said angrily.

Erinnia was shocked and opened her eyes wide. She quickly looked at the clock on his phone and it read 6.35am.

"Ouch, I forgot to prepare the school work.. Is it okay if I borrow your book at school later? I want to get ready first, I'm already late.. Bye!"

Erinnia quickly ran into the bathroom. It took her only 10 minutes to shower. After showering, she quickly got ready to wear his school uniform. After finishing getting dressed, She quickly reached for the bag that was on his study chair. She quickly went down the stairs and went to the dining table for breakfast.

"Mama..why didn't you help Nia wake up earlier?" Erinnia said while eating fast.

"Mama is not wake you up, because is afraid that if you don't wake up, mom will splash you with cold water. Instead of splashing you with cold water, it's better mom not to wake you up. You're already dead asleep..it's not easy to wake people up the one who sleeps dead" said his mother while placing the side dish on the dining table.

Nia just grinned and continued eating her breakfast quickly. After finishing eating, Nia quickly got into the car. She was always sent by his father to go to school.

"Hey, Nia, why did you wake up so late today? Try to see what time it is now… Papa is late to go to work because he's waiting for Nia to wake up. Next time, don't sleep late and before going to bed, set your alarm first," his father said.

"Last night, Nia watched kdrama until late at night..that's why Nia woke up late hehe. Nia promised that she won't wake up late again..it's the last time" Nia said with confidence.

Nia's father then drove the car at a moderate speed because they were already late. After 12 minutes, they arrived at Nia's school gate.

Erinnia quickly got out of the car and did not forget to greet her father. Erinnia managed to enter the gate of her school before it closed. She quickly ran to his class upstairs. As she ran to go upstairs, she bumped into a boy she had never seen before.

"What are you doing bumping into people!! What are you blind for?!! If you're on the road, use your eyes!.

"Ehh sorry.. I didn't mean to.. I want to go to class quickly because it's late" Erinna said in a hurry.

Erinnia then ran up the stairs to her class. Nia entered her class panting from running too fast. He quickly sat down in his seat next to his best friend's seat, Viona. Erinnia quickly took out her math notebook and pencil case in her bag.

"Viona..borrow your book for a moment..I want to do this work before teacher Fattah comes in" Erinnia said in a spoiled tone to persuade Viona to give her school work.

"Hey you..Who told you to pay so much attention to your kdrama that you don't have time to do your school work..well you do it now before teacher Fattah punishes you" Viona said while giving her notebook to Erinnia.

Erinnia quickly copied Viona's answer. Erinnia completed her school work in 5 minutes before the arrival of teacher Fattah. Teacher Fattah entered the class with a fierce face. He entered with a boy that Erinnia had run over on his way to class earlier. When the new student entered the class following teacher Fattah, all the female students cheered for the student's good looks except for Erinnia.

"Okay students.. Today we have a new student.. You can start introducing yourself" Teacher Fattah said to the new student.

"My name is Haikal Daniel" he said shortly.

Everyone in the class cheered because they know Haikal Daniel who is famous on social media and he was born from a rich family.

"Why are you all here? It's like a monkey in this place" said Erinnia in disgust.

"You don't know who he is? He's Haikal Daniel.. a tiktokers and instafamous near Malaysia.. you wouldn't know" Viona said to Erinnia

"How do I know who he is.. all I know is my chaeunwoo oppa" Erinnia said with a smile.

"Alright Haikal please find your seat" said teacher Fattah.

Haikal chose the seat that was on Erinnia's left.

Haikal looked at Erinnia with a sharp look, while Erinnia just opened her math book and ignored Haikal's gaze. Class started as usual. After 1 hour, the school bell rang and it signaled that the subject's time had ended. Ms. Fattah asked their class leader, Rachel Natalia to collect all the assignments. After teacher Fattah left the class, teacher Amira came in to teach the Malay language subject.

The school bell rang loudly and it signaled recess. All the students left the class to go to the canteen. Erinnia followed Viona to the canteen to eat together. They both lined up to buy food. After they finished buying food, the two of them immediately looked for a table to eat. Erinnia saw an empty table. He quickly ran to go to the table to prevent a group of girls who wanted to sit there.

"Yesss I won. Now you can go find another table to eat" Erinnia said while smiling at them.

A group of girls were angry and glared at Erinnia. A woman from the group deliberately pushed Erinnia and Erinnia managed to avoid being pushed by the woman. The woman stomped her feet and she walked away with her group of friends to find another table.

"Fuiyoo Nia..You're amazing..I think you should join in the running event that will be held next month..I'm sure you can get first place" Viona said happily.

"Is it you.. i don't want..i'm lazy, don't you know? Instead of me going to the running event, it's better for me to watch my kdrama that hasn't finished yet." Erinnia said while eating the food she bought at the canteen earlier.

"Wehh, how do you feel about Haikal? Isn't he handsome?" Viona asked.

"Hmm that's fine. But chaeunwoo oppa I'm still handsome" Erennia said with shining eyes.

"You..It's fun chaeunwoo oppa what you say. I'm too lazy to listen..haishh..Ehh Nia..Would you dare if I told you to make Haikal fall in love with you?" Viona asked again.

"Alright..Hey aunty..Do you think I have time to make him fall in love with me?" Erinnia asked while drinking her box of water.

"Just say that you can't seduce him because that's why you don't want to accept my challenge, right?" Viona said in a challenging tone to Erinnia.

"Heh, it's you. If I choke, you'll only know how it feels. Okay, if you really want to challenge me..I'll accept your challenge!!" Said Erinnia who was forbidden to be challenged by people.

"Haa that's the only Erinnia I know" Viona said while grinning.

They both continued to enjoy the food they bought earlier. A man suddenly approached Erinnia and Viona's dining table. The man continued to sit in front of Erinnia while smiling at her. He is Dilan Atharizz.. Erinnia's neighbor and friend.

"Hi Nia.. long time no see.. miss me already" Dilan said in a teasing tone.

"If I kick you, it's near the hospital where you live" Erinnia said angrily.

"Haihh.. You want to be angry too.. People used to say that if that person is very fierce, then he will grow old quickly and his face will twitch because he is always very angry with people" Dilan said deliberately wanting to tease Erinnia.

"Don't worry if I get old fast.. What are you busy with? Do you want to fight? Well, here we are," said Erinnia angrily.

"Hey, I'm just kidding..I don't even want to get into a fight" Dilan said casually.

Erinnia just ate her food and ignored Dilan. After finishing eating, Erinnia and Viona continued to go to class to learn the next subject.

"Nia, do you really want to try Haikal? Have you thought about cooking?" Viona asked.

"That's right..Why are you asking me like that? You weren't the one who told me to try him?" Erinnia said questioningly.

"No..I'm afraid you're not sure because Haikal is an introvert..He only talks when he needs to..I'm afraid that he won't treat you..But I don't trust you..When you want start trying him?" Viona asked again.

"I don't know.. Maybe tomorrow? It's just tomorrow.. I'm lazy today" Erinnia said lazily.
