Prologue: The Unclaimed

The Story where and how it started all... How she become a unclaimed and start a life together with the immortals and the history of all.

There was a story, way back before the Enchanix made, the world was sill plain and had nothing around when a mysterious woman come down, she was called as Mother. Mother was the one made the Enchanix using her powers as her creation.

Mother can see that the whole Enchanix was plain so she decided to design them with forest, animals, and rivers to look it nice.

Next, Mother than made 12 different families of species at her world so there will be more living on her own world.

Mother than creates Gemstones for the Enchanix, the one who protects the whole forest to keep the harmony safe and peace, Mother has two sons, Sephardic The God of Heaven and Soperton The God of Hell.

Everything was going smoothly, and everyone live in peace when all of a sudden...

Two brothers fought each other and they knew very well that this will make their Mother go mad to see them fighting. Soperton was always greedy, selfish, arrogant, and too much pride within inside him while Sephardic has always have a kind heart to anyone at Enchanix.

Mother gives them a task as her trial to see which of his sons has a right to be protector of the gemstone. In secretly, Mother saw how Soperton actions to the immortal, how he teach them some evil deeds that can lead to their consequences which Mother doesn't like it.

In other hand, Mother saw Sephardic how he treat the immortal as equal and cares of them and protect them under his care, he doesn't think of himself but them.

When it was time to choose who is her rightful protector, everything started to go bad....

"Why?! Why him?!" Mother choose Sephardic over him and this made Soperton go furious at his Mother. "I am your first born child!! You can't give him the position as protector of Gemstones to him!"

His words made Mother Disappointed at him, she couldn't believe that his older son think of that way and was hungry of power. "Soperton, you know I did this to our world, it's better if I gave the Gemstones to your brother."

Mother explains but Soperton never listened and grits his teeth "All you care about is only those useless and reckless immortal that you made, you never care about me!"

His words hurt him "That's not true, son, I love you both equally! You know that!" "Is that really you did?"

For the first time, The God of Heaven spoke with his mother with different tone, Sephardic look to his mother in cold way as if he hates her, but in reality, he did hate her.

And just like that... The world at Enchanix was exploded with battle and bloody war, many myths die because of it. Mother was in pain mix with anger as his son fight against her, she was mad and decided to end his two sons even it hurts her as she was their Mother.

The Enchanix was almost destroyed because of the battle between the Mother and his son, after 10 days battle, Mother was defeated, Soperton and Sephardic uses their strong power to lock her up, first, they put her sleep then chain her from the neck, legs, and arms and seal her.

Soperton thought it was over and his brother will help and give half of Sephardic's power to him, but he was wrong.

Soperton was planning to get rid of him however, Sephardic got to know his plan...

Sephardic use the gemstones against his brother Soperton to throw him at the pit of darkness to the underworld that no one knows where... After the war and Mother's losing at the battle and Soperton thrown to the darkness, Sephardic, The God of Heaven was the new ruler of the Enchanix. he calls the paradise as "Devyas" where the immortal souls going there after their death, just like Heaven from the moral world.

Waking up from my precious sleep just because of that damn school is tiring "Oh how I wish have a time travel watch to rewind the time" I sigh and drop my head at my table. It's Monday again like every young students like me as a routine.

"Sharmel, you're getting late for school! Get up there already and start changing!" Hearing my mom's words made my eye roll, I have no strength to get up, it's so hard when your a university student! with no other choice I got up to start to take care of myself.

The breakfast was ready to eat, dad and my brother already sat down eating their breakfast as mom was cooking fast. The towel sill covers my hair, I didn't bother to dry them since I went to breakfast to eat first.

"Hays Sharmel! Dry your hair!" I stop what I'm doing and didn't argue as I do what she said, while trying to dry my hair my older sister goes down "Mom, I'm going!" She said taking her lunch box, mom was about to stop her but my sister already left. Mom sigh in disappointment before she goes back to her work.

It's already 7:30 when I got to the school almost late, sitting to my seat, Keisha my best friend sat beside me "Sharmel, I have something to show you." Curious I smile and took a glance at her while taking my notes and pen out from my bag "really? show me" I said excitedly and Keisha shook her head "Not now, I will show it to you later" she whispers making sure that I'm only one to hear it.

School was already started and our first period has come, listening to the professor is tiring and I want to sleep but I couldn't. Mom will kill me if she finds out about this I grin to my thoughts and focus to the professor.

"So, have you guys always believe in supernatural creatures or dream to be in different world?" The professor suddenly ask us, confused someone raise their hand "What does the supernatural has to do with our lesson Mrs. Vergara?"

She wave her hand down to motion him to sat back down to his seat. Mrs. Vergara look each of us and adjust her eyeglass to her eye "Listen carefully children. This is out of the topic for our lesson today but since you're bored maybe this one will help you to make up listen to our lesson" everyone look at her as if they're interested to the story that Mrs. Vergara was about to tell.

Keisha and I glanced at each other and she shrug her shoulders, I look back to our professor taking out something from her bag a nd everyone include me gasp with surprise look.

What is that....?

It was a book, but it's not just ordinary book... The book glows and inside of it was like a ocean clear blue. It was a majestic book and I can't take off my eyes from it.

"Did you see that?" Keisha didn't reply but I saw the look on her face, she doesn't seem to look surprised but instead her face was like serious and... angry?

Ms. Vergara opens the book and it glows brighter "Woah magic! How did she do that?!" Everyone was impressed to the scene, the glow slowly stop and Ms. Vergara look at us before she look back to her book.

"After Soperton thrown out at the underworld darkness, The Hell was panicking because there is no ruler at Hell and the councilors are discussing who will be the new ruler"

As Ms. Vergara read the text of the book, I could imagine and play the scene inside my head...

"We should take this seriously! We need a ruler in hell!" The councilors are now arguing with the problems they have. "I will take his place as the ruler of the Hell" everyone look to see him everyone couldn't believe it at first but when he shows a papyri to them "because Sephardic said so"

Everyone don't want him as the ruler but no matter how much they dislike the idea of Sephardic, they have no choice but to accept him.

The young immortal man who choose to be the new ruler was Stephano, one of the trusted demon of Soperton. Stephano changed the word of "God" and name himself as King of Hell, the color symbol is Red and Black.

The Enchanix was changing since Sephardic was now the God of whole Enchanix world, he choose who will be the King and Queen, Sephardic chooses one of the Diwata to create her own kingdom.

Diwata is a feminine name of Filipino and Sanskrit origin that is sure to embrace baby's mythical side. Coming from the Sanskrit phrase Devata, it means "goddess." In Filipino mythology, diwatas were seen as supernatural protectors of the natural world.

Cassandra, the Diwata who was the first ruler of her own Kingdom. She named it as Zariya, Kingdom of all Diwatas and land of air, and the symbol color of them is color blue.

After the kingdom of Zariya was made it follows 3 more kingdom. Findara, Alynthi and Nethilors.

Kingdom of Findira is the land of fire, the King was Hathoria, the brother of Cassandra. Their color is similar to the hell but except, their color is Red.

Eleanor was the queen of Alynthi but she called herself as Mistress instead, it is a land of waters and their color is Green.

And lastly Rein, the King of Nethilors, the land of earth, their kingdom has similar to the Alynthi, their color is brown.

Next, we had the Seriaphim, they're closest to Sephardic, their job is watching, protecting, and guide us. The Capitol City of Enchanix is Verglas. Where all Angels stayed there and Councilor from the Devyas was also there. Sephardic made it for the Angels.

Sephardic also decided to add something like a school, similar to the mortal. Galdric, one of the councilors and has a talent to do things build a huge school that Sephardic ask him to do. And he called it as "Art of Academy" where all young immortal to be learn with their abilities and learning everything they know.

Art of Academy was the first and only school at Enchanix. The Academy has a list of students. The lightness student and darkness students.

The lightness students list are:

1. Angel

2. Diwata

3. Wizard

4. Werewolf

The Darkness students list are:

1. Demons

2. Vampire

3. Witch

4. Warlock

But then, a group of mortal get inside to the Enchanix, no one knows how they get inside, Galdric then decide as the creator of the Academy and The head of his own school. He then decided to add the students list and he call the mortal as "Unclaimed" which was the lower rank of the Academy.

It was against to what Sephardic told him, but Galdric doesn't have a choice as he has a good heart and accept the outsider to his academy.

And because of it, Sephardic punish him for his disobedient, his soul will not go to his place,but instead to go at the place where he throw his brother. He let Galdric stayed the mortal as his students, and after his painful death, his daughter was now the new head of the school.

And that's where the unclaimed started to treat unfairly as the new rules has said "As unclaimed, they have no stand against the immortal and the unclaimed should not treat like a immortal as these creature are powerless" The Unclaimed was rejected by all of immortal and no one make friends or get close to them as they're symbol of unlucky to their life.

Unclaimed's life continue to be like that until their getting older till their deaths. As they die, that's where they go back to their real world not alive but corpse of their old age.

Ms. Vergara close the book and the bell rang. Everyone whine to get her continue "It's enough for today fantasy. Everyone hurry and go to your next class" Ms. Vergara put the book back to her bag.

Fantasy topic is more interesting than hearing some of your lessons Ms. Vergara.

I was about to stand up when suddenly, a pain shoot right at my temple, it was throbbing painfully that I clutch my temple to my head "Ah!"

My cries were got attract by everyone "Sharmel?!" Keisha come to me with concern on her voice, I can tell she look worried at me without looking to her.

"It.... Argh...! Hurts!" I shut my eyes tightly while Keisha help me sit back down, I slowly open my eyes only half and saw Ms. Vergara's face, she look at me serious. Keisha look at her as well, I don't know if I saw was real or is it because the pain I feel but I saw how she look at Ms. Vergara.

After few minutes the pain has gone, sweat were now at my forehead and I could also feel the sweat at my back. "Are you okay now? How do you feel?" "I'm alright... " it was a lie of course but I couldn't tell her the truth.

"Come on, let's get out of here" Keisha help me stand up and making sure to support me all the way.

Before we go to our next class, Keisha stops and look around to make sure we're alone "Is something matter?" Keisha then pull me to the gym, no one was there, she didn't reply to me, she stop and took something from her bag.

I was surprised to what she takes out.

It was a key, but not just any key "I... Wow, I don't know what to say... " I was surprise that I shutter.

It shape like a heart, I could see a clear glass and inside of it is a glow blue. Keisha was sill frowning "Can I hold it?" Keisha give me the key.

It was lightly heavily "where did you buy this? It looks so real!" I was amazed carefully examined the key. "Keep the key" hearing her hoarse voice and look back at her.

"Why?" I ask her and she just shook her head and look away, something was wrong at her but I didn't time to ask because a junior saw us and telling to go back to our class.

It was nighttime and I do homework as always. After, I go to my bed to sleep, I couldn't stop thinking to what Ms. Vergara telling us a story. In deep thoughts, a small glow come from my bag, my room was already dark since I turn off the lights. Getting up to see where the glow coming from, I took rummaging the things inside my bag to see the key.

What in the world? I must be imaging some things, the glow stops as soon as my hand was about to reach for it and mom's voice calls out for me. I sigh and put my bag away and get down.

In next morning Keisha is sill haven't arrived yet and it's almost 8am. Is she going to be absent today? I was getting worried because Keisha never absent any like since first quarter til the fourth quarter.

And now mix emotions with worried and curiously, soon our professor has arrived and no sign of Keisha going to the university.

It was almost night when our class was already dismissed, I wanted to pay a visit to Keisha but I don't want to disturb her so I went straight home by walking.

Going home alone is pretty scary even it's morning, hell you don't even know if someone tries to kidnap you.

I noticed something not far away, there was a mysterious cloak watching me I stopped. What the hell? I must imagine it again!

I run my eyes and look again to see the black cloak was sill there, I couldn't see the face because inside of it is dark as if it has no face. Okay, things have been so crazy now!

I wanted to turn around and run away but something inside me that I should take a look and follow. I know it's reckless, and parents always told their children to run away from strangers. But...

The black cloak was sill there, waiting for me to follow. Without thinking, I walked to the black cloak and when I was getting closer, it suddenly turned around and leave to the forest. Is following good idea?

"Follow.... Follow"

I turn around sharply but I was the only one standing.

"Follow... Follow... "

A whisper from my ear, it was a harsh voice and it send shivers from my spine. I continue to follow the black cloak to the forest.

I don't know how far I walk to the forest, only I can see is tress everywhere and a mysterious black cloak, suddenly, it stop and turn around at me. I recoil and taking a step back and just like that, it disappear in front of me.

My eyes widened what the... I turn around and the black cloak wasn't there anymore! And I realized that now I am lost at the forest.

god damnit! Now what?! Anxiety was inside me trying to figure out how to get out from the forest when my bag starts to glow inside.

I open the bag and rummage inside to see the key was glowing. "Am I dreaming?" I reach out for it and take it out, they key was sill glowing at my hand and it follows by a wind passes me.

I turn my half body around and my jaw drop with a gasp. "Holy... Shit" the two tree trunk side starts to glow and form of something like a portal, I don't know what's in my head but I went closer to take a look.

Soon, a door was now in front of me and I saw a keyhole, looking at the key in my hand, I slide it inside and heard a click.

Putting my hand at the handle and open the door, surprise was all over my face to see it inside.

The other side that was behind the door was different, it look so magical. I was hesitate to go inside, I look around to see I'm the only one and so, I took the key and slowly getting inside the other side.

Word "wow" escape from my mouth, the place was beautiful and I couldn't even notice that the portal already gone behind me, I walked while my eyes are wondering around.

I saw a dragon or sea dragon up in the sky, it was already 3pm and the sunset here is also beautiful, I can hear a water fall near from me.

I couldn't believe what I just saw "oh my god... Is Keisha knows about this?" The place was beautiful and I couldn't stop staring, I hide the key back to my pocket. I explore more the forest.

Getting far away I heard a rustling sound and I stop to my tracks. I was about to turn around when a cold sharp thing was in my neck "Don't move or I will slit your throat!" I raised my arms What the hell?!

And another one was coming out "well, well, well, I recognize your wearing. You're from the mortal world" he said with a grin on his face. His smile is scaring me. "Another unclaimed has decided to get in here"

unclaimed? "Exactly, unclaimed like them get inside here without knowing they dig their own graves" a voice of female behind me said and both chuckle.

The woman pull my hair to look made me look at her "now unclaimed, if you don't want to die be cooperated and follow us!" She let go of my hair and push me that I almost fall to the ground.

The man pull my arm firmly "Don't try to escape if you want to survive" he said before he pull and walked dragging me along with him.

What did I put myself into... Fuck this life!
