Close to Daniel

Since that day, Daniel has tried to get close to her. But he never thought that he would be ignored by her. When he knew that she worked at a music store, he visited that store. And he saw Joanne was talking to a friend..a guy with a bright smile. She looked so beautiful when she smiled.

Suddenly, something appeared in his heart, he didn't like it. How dare she smile at another man.

Then, when Joanne came out from her workplace, he walked to her. Joanne was shocked to see Daniel.

" what are you doing here ,Daniel "

" pick you. " with those words, he pulled Joanne to his car.

" why.." thanks GOD, today Julia off. She didn't want anyone to see this.

Without answering, Daniel drove his car to a restaurant. Then , he went out of his car and opened the door for Joanne.

" come on, I'm hungry. Eat first , then i will send you back". There is a dominant tone in his voice.

Joanne still didn't believe. She still wants to say something. But she'd already been pulled by Daniel into the restaurant.

They had a seat beside the window, and Daniel ordered some food.

Then he stared at Joanne. Joanne is still in her frozen face. Daniel smiled when he saw her face. Joanne looked so lovely and cute.

When the food was served, Daniel took some to Joanne's plate.

" hey, what are you thinking? Aren't you hungry?"

" oh.. " Joanne only can say that.. then she realized what happened.

" Why did you bring me here? And why you ..."

before she finished her sentence, Daniel said " just eat or you want to stay here all night".

After eating, Daniel drove her back to her dorm. Then he left without saying anything.

The next morning, at college Joanne saw Daniel with a beautiful girl. They were chatting in the corridor. Joanne walked past them then got in her class.

A whole week passed without anything happening. When the weekend came, Daniel showed up again at her work place. He came to pick her up again. She didn't know why Daniel was doing this.

Julia who saw Daniel was puzzled too. She didn't expect that Daniel would come here to pick up Joanne.

" joan, why is he here?" Do you have anything with him?" Julia curiously asked.

" actually, I don't know either. " Joanne answered it. He is being weird lately. Is that because Gary? She thought to herself.

Then Joanne walked out of the store with Julia.

" let me drive you two back" seeing them out, Daniel said while dragging Joanne to his car. And Julia can only follow them.

And this happened for several weeks, when he got free time, he would show up and drive them back. Daniel never minded Julia joining when he came to pick up Joanne because he knew Julia is Joanne's best friend.

Joanne wandered what was on Daniel's mind. He picked her up at her workplace. But sometimes he ignored her at college. But when he saw her close to another man , he would get angry. Sometimes he would order a lunchbox for her. Or he also didn't allow her to drink cola.

She asked him, but never got the answer.

After sometime, Joanne got used to Daniel and they even got closer.

Julia also stopped asking about Daniel after knowing that Daniel was a friend of Joanne's brother.
