In a large village there lived a brother and his sister, they were the protectors of the town, they were hailed as heroes.

Shuda, the brother, was an assassin, but he had long given up on that lifestyle.

While his sister, Seraphina was a knight, but she was thrown out after questioning a suspicious leader.

Together they lived in the village, they were happy as they supported each other no matter what.

However, tragedy came, a massive wave of undead rose from the ground around the town, the people tried to fight against the undead together with the siblings, but the undead were too much for the inexperienced townsfolk to handle.

"This is looking bad." Shuda looked at the endless waves of zombies and skeletons that marched towards the village, he even saw a bunch of ghosts flying around.

The undead monsters charged at the small village, but before they could arrive they were barraged by a bunch of badly aimed arrows shot by the people in the village, the entire barrage could only take out one or two of the undead, and the arrows that hit were the ones shot by Shuda.

"Ready your weapons!" Seraphina yelled at the people who got increasingly scared when they saw the undead.

"There is no way to escape! if you want to live, then fight!" Seeing the villagers in such a pathetic state, Shuda gave a few words of encouragement, not that it helped much, but at least they were less likely to run away now.

As soon as Shuda finished saying this the undead were close enough to attack, so with Shuda and Seraphina in the front the battle began.

The villagers were mainly untrained, so they took advantage of the houses and other obstacles in the village to defend themselves.

Shuda was fighting in a very different way, while the villagers defended their spots, Shuda went on the offensive, with his skills as an assassin he destroyed undead after undead.

At the same time, Seraphina was fighting while protecting the ones around her, with a long sword and a large shield in her hands she kept the undead at bay.

After a short while, almost the entire village was gone, the undead kept swarming while the villagers could no longer hold on.

In the middle of the screams of the injured, and the sounds of the undead, Seraphina's sword broke, leaving her without a weapon, and the undead noticed this, all the undead near her started charging at her.

Shuda soon noticed this and rushed over to help, but the massive wave of undead kept him back. As a sickening feeling appeared in his mind all undead near him were ripped to shreds.

While the undead were being complete destroyed Shuda kept walking to Seraphina, where he saw her, badly injured. Her armor had been mostly ripped off, together with the skin underneath.

Looking at his sister in such a state Shuda was filled with a mix of anger, sadness, and fear.

As Seraphina looked at Shuda with unfocused eyes both started crying, tears falling down from their eyes while Shuda crouched next to his sister, the undead near them still getting shredded.

"...Sorry, Shu, i will be going ahead." With these words Seraphina's eyes closed, and she stopped breathing as her life ended.
